How does the game fit into the theme?
Our game fits the jam's theme by forcing the player to constantly move forward—there's no turning back. In Bloodthorn, each room slowly disappears behind you, leaving no chance for retreat. This creates a relentless sense of urgency, pushing the player deeper

First of all, Australian Mode? You made me laugh!

Now the game xD It felt like I was very strong from the start, and I couldn't really tell what the reach on my weapon was. At no point did I feel like I was in real danger, I would just run around enemies and hit them until they died. That being said, I feel like there's something here. You have a large variety of enemies, and if the controls and the presentation was a little more polished, I feel like this could bring some seriously fun gameplay.

I really enjoyed slaying enemies. I missed the upgrade station but I was still doing lots of damage.

I think the concept is good, but the motion controls are a bit awkward, which makes gameplay a bit difficult. Still, the gameplay loop is understandable, and the art is very good.

Yes, it's a strange move, I didn't use the block at all.

There are a lot of bugs and control issues in the game. In my first playthrough, I just ran through all the rooms and got into a dark area, and only restarting the game helped. Your game has a nice concept, and maybe with more time and effort, you can create a great rogue-like game, like the one you described.

Great game, my only suggestion is maybe making enemies a bit faster incase they go behind the border you can still pass? But regardless I had a lot of fun

Видно, что не мало усилий было приложено к графике и к катсцене в том числе. Но геймплей немного хромает. Возможно не стоило добавлять в игру регенерацию, а давать игроку какие-нибудь хилки, а то чуствуешь себя бессмертным) А так в целом выглядит прикольно.

I dig the low poly assets. Wild that you knocked all of that out for the jam. I had a hard time knowing if my attacks were landing or even happening sometimes but other than that it was a solid entry!

Really simple gameplay with a nice connection to the theme! Maybe making the attack faster would improve the overall experience. Also, I got stuck in the oak cask a lot lol.

I liked it! I do think the controls are a little odd though. It would've felt more comfortable if wasd moved the character relative to the camera instead of the map
