- Nailed the atmosphere, this submission really stands on its own as a piece of expressive art. I loved that everything in the game (art, sound/fx, mechanics) supported the story and theme/message
- Big fan of narrative games like this that are meant to tug your heart! I wish there was more time with the little guy before he died so we could feel it stronger. A walking simulator by definition, short and sweet (though unsure whether I finished it?) but an adorable experience!
- Less of a game and more of an experience. The story didn’t feel very impactful to me. The art style and music created a really good atmosphere, I just didn’t feel any connection to the characters.
How does the game fit into the theme?
**Trigger Warning : Death **
How life moves forward.
There’s no traditional "ending," yet an ending awaits.
The past is but an echo. What remains is the path ahead.
Keep walking, keep carrying on.

Hi, I'm hedge one of your judges! Played at https://twitch.tv/hedge_in at 7:20 <3 (Part 2)
godainm, Dana, u made me cry a wee bit T-T wasn’t expecting this from a game jam
The idea is great, but this realization, when a sad story suddenly appears without emotional attachment, makes the game a little funny)
Definitely the most unique interpretation I’ve seen, great job!
I really liked the use of the theme, it's very original, and the art and music fit very well with the narrative and what the game wants to tell.
Good job! :D
I did NOT expect I would cry during this game jam outside of our games development but. damn. I genuinely teared up towards the end when after moving forward beyond the eye fellow I turned back and he didnt appear again. For how short the dialogue in the beginning is, its perfect as it is; the shock value of the multi-eyed hairy monster in the woods was so cool... seeing our friend getting eaten and turning into one of those eyes... I love how many ways this can be interpreted. Thats probably the reason it made me emotional, no matter what you think happened, the only thing you already know is how strong a connection can be, and how painful it is to have it taken away from you. Great work .·°՞(≧□≦)՞°·.
This is really freakin cool. Love the eye monster. The atmosphere is actually pretty unique, though I could have gone with sound effects (footsteps, text scroll etc) but not everyone can find a sound person for a week jam. Well done!
Amazing story, you should be proud!
This game made me shed a tear! The narrative was beautiful and inspiring as were the characters too! Excellent job!
I love the narrative and the use of the theme
Very interesting experience.
Good job!
Beautiful atmosphere..
I'm in love with the vibes.
The narrative part of the game is excellent!
Its so short but it still managed to push all the right emotions, vibe is setup so good I was constantly afraid to loose my mate even before I did.
strange and beautiful
I am absolutely amazed that this narrative is as powerful as it is for how short and simple it is... And the piece that ties it all together thematically is the back button. This will live in my head rent free for a lil while, thank you
Thank you! This is the sweetest comment I've ever got!!
Really loved your game too. Hope to see more of your games!
