I did NOT expect I would cry during this game jam outside of our games development but. damn. I genuinely teared up towards the end when after moving forward beyond the eye fellow I turned back and he didnt appear again. For how short the dialogue in the beginning is, its perfect as it is; the shock value of the multi-eyed hairy monster in the woods was so cool... seeing our friend getting eaten and turning into one of those eyes... I love how many ways this can be interpreted. Thats probably the reason it made me emotional, no matter what you think happened, the only thing you already know is how strong a connection can be, and how painful it is to have it taken away from you.
