Interesting concept! The narration is top-notch, made me truly uneasy at times :)

If you decide to work on the game some more, I'd suggest making it more dynamic visually: e.g. rooms with different designs, hover states for the doors, maybe an animal running through the screen while you listen to the narrator, etc.

Nice game! Simple design and quite funny voice :D
The levels could load quicker so the player could interact though ;)

Developer(+1)

Thank you for playing my game, and I am happy you liked it. The levels do actually  loads pretty quickly, I have just choosed to have a slow transition between the levels. I know today is slow = bad, but I like slow and therefor it is slow.

Cool idea, and great voice acting, a bit slow for me, I would like to be able to click right away especially when I came in the room before in order to push all the doors

Rated - great voice acting.  I just watched IT2 (the horror clown movie), there was a funny/scary which door do i choose gag.  Good job working in 3D too.  Please check out my game if you can~ good day!

Not much of a game but it's nice to see the Unreal Engine in action. Good voice acting and bug free. What more can you hope for?

Wow. Never thought a game with only doors would be this much fun. This is a fun game. The voice acting is excellent. The starting music on every stage went really well with the environment. Really liked the artwork and humour was on point. Overall a well made game. Also just noticed that Rail is Liar spelt backward, so it is Liar's Basement :)

Thank you for playing my game. I am happy you liked it. I actually believe you are the first to notes that Rail is Liar spelt backwards.

Funny and interesting. It fits the theme perfectly!

"You die of disappointment." Aw man. I wouldn't want to go like that in real life.

Very cool entry! Dialogue felt a bit slow (especially when trying to go through every single door to see every game overs) but you could go through without finishing listening, which is good.

Actually, this reminds me of my entry! It has 7 different endings and another hilarious narrator! You also go through doors! If you've got some spare time, come check it out and rate it! It's worth it!

Developer (1 edit)

Thank you for playing. I agree that the dialog can be a bit slow, but like you said you can skip it and then it is more or less up to you, if you do not want hear it all.

You have a funny british humor! Well done and does this game have a "win"? I tried lots of options...

Developer(+1)

!SPOILERS the game has and end, but you do not win.

Oh I really hope more people see this and rate it! Simple to play but rather well made, and 100% in the spirit of the jam! And of course the voice was hilariously entertaining! Great job, great submission!

i will say that this game terrified me. not sure if that was the approach you where going for or not, but i do know that every time you walk through a door, into darkness, you mouse disappears,   and i was just waiting for a jumpscare. it was to the point where when i got to the "freedom door", i couldn't  finish it, and i exited the game. overall, i gave it relatively high ratings.

Developer

Tank you for playing the game. The game is meant as a surreal comedy, but of course it has some horror elements. !SPOILER there is no jump scares in the game, and I am sorry to hear, that you did not see what is behind the freedom door.

Yeah, I’ll probably hop back in and play it again to get the ending.

Very funny narration and scenarios, and excellent visuals. I enjoyed playing through this and repeating to hear the different dialogue.

This was really fun! I really liked the voiceovers, they were great! You did a good job of adding variety to the rooms as you progressed too. Nice work!

Submitted(+1)

Congratulations on a really solid entry! I thought some of the voices (and deaths!) were hilarious! The graphics were really sleek as well.

Submitted(+1)

Narration was fantastic and hilarious. I especially loved the different "deaths" haha.

Found the game gorgeous, my only problem with it is that i can't understand some things you say, since english is not my mother tongue. Congratulations for the game :D

Developer(+1)

Thank you for playing my game. I know that it can be difficult to hear what I say, especially because of the crazy voice and the bad audio quality.

:D It`s so fun! Great work, visual and sound is great!

Hilarious voic eovers!

Great entry, I really enjoyed it! I like the audio alot, the only issue I have with it was that I couldn't really understand some of the things you were saying. But aside from that It would of been cool to do some other stuff aside from Clicking the doors, but a great entry to say the least! :D

Developer

Thank you for trying my game. I am happy you liked it.

The point with the game is not the gameplay, but it is the story. I know it can sometimes be difficult to hear what I am saying, but I hope it is not too bad. And if you are in one of the door rooms, you can restart it by pressing B, and then you can again try to hear what I am saying.

I think I'll just have to turn up the volume! xD
