Nice game.
I can see you put some effort on polishing the UI.
Your salamanders looks great, but I think background is too colorful.
The Spells are good, but some cool-down are too punitive for me.
Music is good to me.

wow, that's amazing!
I'm fascinated for these ideas such like making spells and magic, and you did it very well! To make me even more happy, you made it on Construct (one of the first engines I learned :D ). Awesome game, I had a lot of fun!
Also, I would be very happy if you could play my game too :3

Wow! I didn't expect that every different spell attack would have a different sprite animation and effect. That must have taken a lot of time. That was a really cool concept to balance and maintain what spells we can use. And then BAM! Enemies are using their own type of attacks. Really cool concept and execution of it. Loved it.

The first time I played I did not notice several details, such as that the other salamanders can use your same spells. It's quite fun trying to get as long as possible with these different combinations. Excellent work!

Cool game in general! But  this cololdowns... It' s just impossible to deal with it.

The only thing that ctually works is a stone spell, because of this cooldowns. It tleast has quite a good damage, stops enemies and let's you get rid of many salamnders with one stone, by manuvering around them.

I'd recomend to make cooldown more bearable and it would be a very funny arena game. Maybe it would be good to improve damage of other spels too, because even when I'm using only one spell, I can't kill  salamanders reliably with anything other than stone.

This was so cool! I liked the spell effects and the main mechanics. The biggest issue I had while playing was the controls. I just couldn't get my hand to feel comfortable. If I only used a single spell then it was more manageable!

Great idea! It's awesome that you get to pre-build your inventory before going in to fight, makes the game so much more replayable. I could see this as a really cool rogue-lite game where you unlock more spells and build crazy combos in battle. Great work! Keep it up!

What a fun game !! I spent quite some time trying out all the different spell levels :D

They all feel very different and the fact that the enemies also attack you with spells makes for a lot of unique situations.

I would have loved that the damage you do versus enemy of a weak type was way stronger (almost one shot kill). Because at the moment it feels way easier to play with a simple spell. Playing with all 4 spells is the most difficult playstyle, but with enough skills it should be the most efficient way to play :)

great game. i love how you give each spell a different level based on how many they have (i'm assumign 4-n where n is the number of spells they have). I also like that the enemies pretty much have your abilities, but at 0th level. i feel like it's overpowered to only use one spell, but it limits your capabilities which vibes with the theme of this game jam. love the idea, i'm hoping to see more updates on this in the future.

Criticism - 

The music was a little bland for what it was and got repetitive extremely fast.  Also, the most powerful rock and ice spells still felt fairly sluggish to use, making them not as fun to mess with as the lightning and fire spells.  I also like the element damage system, but don't feel like it came into too much play as a lot of the game was shoot enemies fast.

Support - 

The enemy types and attacks were extremely interesting and I liked how they mimicked the user spells. The concept of less spells = more powerful is also an interesting spin on the theme as it breaks away from the ideas of health and money being less or more.

Fun game! All the different spells and their upgrades and really fun to discover. I wish the single spells were a little stronger with maybe longer cooldowns so that it would be viable to run 4 spells and focus on countering the right enemies; but it fits the theme! Nice game.
