oops, I got the ending where I did a little too much trolling. oopsies. Nice to still have a few endings that still make sense despite the overscope. There is definitely intrigue here that was probably meant to be spread over a few scenarios.

I like the character sprite art a lot

Congrats on the release.

I think you have a really cool concept here! I'd love to play a full version of this. The art is very nice as well! Good job ^^

Hi, the art looks amazing, and the overall game feels very polished. It's sad that it's so short, but I also overscoped a lot, as I wanted to make a much longer game, ending up doing 1/3 of the original idea, so I understand you. I still enjoyed it even tho some sounds would have helped the atmosphere.

Again, really good looking game, you could continue developing it quite easily in the future, you already have a really solid base! <3333

Developer

Thank you very much :) If everything goes well I will do my best to make into actual game

Submitted

Pretty good take on the theme. Though it is a bit short, would love to see a fully fleshed out version of this game :)

Developer(+1)

Thank you :D hopefully I'll be making one

You have a good base for making an old-school quest or a visual novel, good job! You can improve your game if will add more gameplay, for example mini-games or if you focus on a text quest - then the number of diffrent choices/actions

Developer (1 edit)

Thank you  To be honest there were supposed to be two separate gameplay sections basically you would play a different game base on your choices. But yeah, I need to work on my priorities xD

Submitted

Love the art and the overall presentation. Would love to see more of it!

Developer

Thank you. I am going to make it into actual game at some point

Very short game, would have liked there to be some sound, maybe some more story choices, but well done nevertheless!

Developer (1 edit)

Thank you, yeah I should've done gameplay first I guess haha and maybe sound...

A cool and quick little story. I like the art. The first thing that came to my mind when i saw the main character was that he looks like kenny from south park lolSouth Park: 15 Things You Didn't Know About Kenny

Developer

Haha, thank you xD

Looks really great! I wonder if you plan on working more on the game...

Developer

Thank you. I am currently planning to make it into an actual game

I'm in the same boat. Only had time to make very short demo haha. I learned from my experience (making my game and playing yours) to focus more on the vertical slice of the gameplay much more than just the presentation

Developer

Yeah I guess I did it backwards this time around, oh well maybe I'll do better next time :D

Submitted

Nice little bit of choreographing when the guys in the bar surround you and the visuals were solid :)

Developer

Thank you :D

Interesting prototype! But it's really short =)) It has great potential to become an entertaining choice-based game though.

Developer

Thank you, yeah I'm bad at managing time, hopefully I'll do more next time xD

A short story, but a well received one. Great to see more narrative design in jams. Good job!

Developer

Thank you :D

Reminds me of the “don’t escape” flash games from back in the day. Thanks for reawakening a lost memory!

Developer

Thank you for kind words :)

I love games that have multiple endings, it was nice to go through the several dialog branches and see the various outcomes. The evil ending was my favorite, with some nice visual melting of the characters that reminded me of that scene in Raiders of the Lost Ark. Would have loved some music that also mapped to the type of choices the player makes. Great little entry!

Developer

Thank you, I was planning to do more, choice indicators, actual gameplay based on choices, but couldn't make it work in time xD

Submitted

I love it :D

Developer

Thank you :D

Nice job - nice style and concept.

I went through several endings - was quite short, I wish there was more interactions and things to do in it. Also, the addition of audio would be cool too.

Overall a great idea and nicely done!

Developer

Thank you :) To be honest it was supposed to have gameplay part, but I was to slow and couldn't finish it in time xD

Submitted

the first ending i got was the bad one and i don't know what that says about me as a person xd.

this was a neat little experience! the art is really nice from the title screen down to the pixel art. good use of that saturated red to make the main character stand out in the scene against all the other brownish objects. the dialogue was also pretty nice too. short and sweet, and paints the scenario well. good game!

Developer

Thank you :) next time I might even include some gameplay xD

Submitted

I love these style of games. The art is great, wish the game were longer.

Developer(+1)

Thank you :) Ah well I guess I'm bad at time management, wasn't able to make more in time xD

Submitted

Fun game and great art. I really like the title screen

Developer(+1)

Thank you :) I spent the most of dev time on title screen xD Probably should've spend it on actual gameplay

Submitted

Relatable. I spent too much time on my title screen too haha
