VERY nice! I love how we both went for a loop + tower defense and ended in a totally different direction, well done

Interesting direction you took towards this game. I would have gone for a more incremental style, but a puzzle style is good as well! It would have been nice to see some sort of star system where each level would have 3 different success levels. Well done!

This is a very good idea, it was missing some sounds and better artwork, but the game was good, well done!

Those are a lot of loops! Well done its a fun game,

Very interesting and creative idea. Poor babies!

VERY polished, plays nicely. I just feel like it is quite boring to play, it might just be me, it's just not my type of game. Maybe its the lack of stakes, I don't really see what I'm doing, or what my aim should be. Maybe it could be the lack of guidance, I just feel quite lost. Anyway, hope this helps, well done with the game!

Nice puzzle game, but it has quite a big flaw, you can just use your spaceship to fly to the finish without ever really touching the other planet orbits, but this can quite easily be fixed by adding more obstacles, or having some obits refuel you

I can definitely clearly see a vision here, I see the potential in this tower defense kind of idea you got. Add some enemy variety, more powerups, maybe a shop/upgrade system, and you got youself a pretty good game!

Not to bad congrats for participating in the jam and submitting a game!

The music SLAPS, where did you get it from? Or did you make it yourself? It would be a good idea to add some sort of level progression indicator, showing you how many cars you have left to defeat

Impressive that you managed to make a whole manager style game in under 4 days. well done

This was great, the game went straight into the action, the control  where intuitive, and the music and sound effects where on point. I wish there was more than just beating the high score, like upgrading your lasso or horse, well done!

I kind of felt bad for the flowers in the end, but I'll do anything to save my wife. Well done!

Soundtrack was very repetitive, the loop mechanic was fun though. Well done!

Nice, reminds me of upturned, also love the moving textures

Make tough decisions to keep you safe from the monster in the dark while you solve the puzzles that will free you.

You can find the demo here, let me know what you think! https://r8teful.itch.io/onesocket

This is great! Thanks for sharing

This was fun to play, the only annoying part was finding the right lockers, some locker numbers would have helped. Anyway, well done!

I'm sorry to hear that the visuals effected you in that way. I was thinking a lot about the ending but this was the best way to leave it open ended. Who knows what happens next ;)

Thank you! 😊

Thank you!

Wow, thank you for your comment. I'm tearing up a bit reading this. I don't think you are reading too deeply at all, I love that you see the details of it. Most of the design was intentionally created to make you really experience how it is and feels like to be working a droning job. I'm so pleased to hear that you enjoyed it, it means a lot to me. Delivering experiences like these is the main reason I'm so passionate about game development, and I'm determined to make more of these memorable games in the future and perfecting my craft further.

Thank you (: Do you mean faster in terms of gameplay, or the dialogue to be faster, or both?

Thank you! It never crossed my mind that the password thing would have been a problem, I should have added some dialogue where the protagonist would just repeat the password for you, that would probably been the best option. I'm glad you liked it though!

Its the artstyle that sets this one apart. Well done with that. As for polish and general game feel. I think it could have been way better, the lack of sounds when playing cards, and lack of animations when choosing things make it seem unfinished somehow... Anyway, very well done and I'm impressed that you managed to get a deck builder that quickly implemented in the first place!

That was short and fun. It reminds me of that one german TV show I saw the other day where they have to cut random objects exactly in half. Game is very polished well done!

Like most people are saying, game is very difficult. could have easily been fixed with some checkpoints. I really like the time mechanic though it adds loads of tension to it. Well done!

Really cool, I'm impressed by the amount of things you managed to add in such a short time period. I liked walking around the island and just exploring, but something inside me makes me wonder where I am and what everything is. Could be cool to add some kind of narrative to it, or some more game mechanics that make you progress/have some kind of point in exploring everything. Anyway, very well done!

Very polished and very difficult. Also that scream sound took me back to the sword and sandals games I used to play as a kid hahah, good stuff!

hahahah, this was good. Very funny, did you do all the voice acting yourself? Well done!

Considering this is your first game jam game, I am impressed. My first one was definitely worse compared to this hahah. I like that the aliens disappear when you come close, makes them very mysterious

Very short game, would have liked there to be some sound, maybe some more story choices, but well done nevertheless!

Wow that was great. Thanks for making that

Very cool concept. I feel like it is imposable to do without the clues. Nevertheless, good job!

For sure got a nice atmosphere to it. Well done!

That was cool! I like the cutscenes, the animations are very smooth in them. Not sure why the protagonist has superhuman speeds. Audio was average, some sounds were very repetitive, but I liked the reverb of the climbing sound, it made the cave sound very empty and big. Also, in the end it said I only managed to rescue myself, but was there any other one I could rescue? All in all, good entry well done!

Thank you for the kind words! About the movement, I'd have to agree with you. There is no real reason for it to be point and click, I'm experimenting with my own unique style and thought to give this a try, I wanted to replicate the vibe of the old point and click puzzle adventure games like Myst and Riven, but I guess the spark disappears when there is not much to explore, I wish I had more time creating more of an environment the player is free to explore in, instead of it being a linear path like it currently is. The left/right look bug is annoying and can be quite confusing, I have to implement some kind of system that forces it to rotate in the direction you click, but I didn't have time to implement that in the jam. Anyway, thanks for the comment and your feedback!

By the way, I had a look at the Source Code, looks like I cant get the shader graph to compile properly, its giving me this error. Do you have any idea how I would fix it? Thanks a lot

So, very, cool. I love the style, and the static effect of the enemies make them so scary without you having to do much.  It is quite hard to see where you're going though, I'm not sure why you made the E reset take so long, I feel like it is more of an annoyance rather than that mechanic adding tension. Anyway, such a cool visual style, and I would love to see more of this!
