Fun shooter! I included it in my LOWREZJAM compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look. :)

Developer

Thanks for the coverage :) , Good video!

aaaaah I love the main menu music!

putting a limit on the player's bullet distance feels clever to me, one problem I had to iterate over in my own shooter was destroying the weak enemies the moment that they appeared at the top of the screen. I feel like this solution works well in your game since you have upgrades that affect the bullet distance.

the player death particle is also rad as heck

I'm really, really sorry. I completely missed this comment.

Thanks, that means a lot, specialy after playing your shooter.

I absolutely loved the variety of enemies, weapons, and options in this. I feel like I could play it for hours. Even with a lot going on on-screen, the sprites are clear and bright enough that it's not hard to read. Also, I really appreciated the high-energy music! Though I felt like the sound balance was off relative to the sound-effects. Not sure if that was just me.

All in all, a really nicely executed spacey shooty game!

Solid auto shooting shump! I like how there's progressive unlocks. Looks and sounds nice, all said, well put together!

Everythink is cool. I love you pixel art. Very cool game mechanics with particule, very polish game. Very nice audio. Good work. I don't know if they are boss because i'm very bad in this type of game :)

Solid shooter. I really liked the auto shoot. Wish more games did that. Polished after image/blur effects on the ship (especially when moving larger distances). Old school sound et al was very fitting.

Auto shot is a must if there isn't a reason to release a shoot button.

Ikhyf lazy bro.

Nice arcade game with so many elements to make it enjoyable. The graphics is great, audio is good. I found the gameplay with mouse (even with the delay of the ship speed) more handy than the movement with keyboard.

I liked so much the ability of customizing the gameplay with so many options, you can make the experience fit you ability (or mood), and it's fantastic. This level of customization it's one of the things that, in my opinion, every commercial game should have; having it here for free it's a huge plus for me.

Well done!

Developer

Thanks for playing. I'm glad you liked the costumization options :)

The graphics was very clear and the ship responsive, but having the bullets disappear half screen felt quite strange... almost as if it made it hard to plan ahead.

Nice visuals and fun gamplay! I like the effect the shi makes when you move quickly from one side to the other :)

After unlocking the loot and loot stacking options and getting a few stacked powerups (a challenge) you turn into an unkillable godship that can only die from carelessly running into a stray fireball, it seems. Certainly an interesting concept but if it's gonna be an infinite game it should get progressively harder throughout the run until you die. There also doesn't seem to be any incentive to actually use the options that make it harder unless you just want more of a challenge, I suppose.

Developer

Thanks for the observations.

My intencion was that you are free to do whatever you what to do. However, having a highscore is not the best to insentivize the experimentation, my bad.

The game escalates it's dificulty the higher your score gets, but once you are in godmode that's not even a thing XP.

Simple yet pretty entertaining! The visuals are very cute and good choice of music too!

I'm glad to read that :)
