Very polished! Love how you run faster while holding the turret - like in real life. :P Could be actually interesting I think, if the turret would still fire while moving it around, just much slower. Also I was kind of sad, that the upgrades did not carry over between levels. Would have loved ending up with the turret you showcase in the credits, haha! Lastly, take a look at this game, if you haven't already: it's also about moving around "only one" weapon for base defense and though it doesn't look as fancy as yours, I has some clever mechanics, that might inspire you for this game as well.
Very cool idea, good fun to play! I can imagine if it were a full game it would be great fun getting into the later levels with an ridiculous turret and lots of enemies.
Would definitely benefit from the turret getting some over the top visual changes for upgrades too, end up like a castle covered in guns.

as someone who is making a tower defense game where the character can move around lay towers. I was really into this design. Using the one tower makes things frantic. And the upgrade system was cool. The currency system was interesting b/c normally you get currency for killing enemies but here you had to move away from your tower which was a risk reward b/c then it could take you longer to move the tower if you needed and I think that was the magic of the design right there. Without that aspect it wouldn't felt as good
Awesome and cute graphics, cool sounds, great and addictive gameplay. I like little animations such as screen shake at every shot which make you feel that the tower is really powerful. And you can even get an achievement for a cool hat :)
Most satisfying experience I've had in a while for a Jam game. The graphics are ace and the gameplay is engaging (despite the weird targeting behavior) that ultimately show a lot of character and ingenuity in game design.
Great promise on this game! I love the core gameplay and could see it leading to a full fledged game.
