One of my favorites! Very well made mechanics! Can wait to play more

Great level design, great music and art too. My biggest concern are the inputs (on keyboard), sometimes I'm using the grapple upwards but ends up being foward, and you need to open the parasol only after you "ungrapple" yourself, which is pretty hard to time because of the speed of the character.

That said, it might be just me having trouble... Overall the game is really fun!

The levels are well design, with great use of coin indicators, I never find myself lost. My favorite area is the final space area, the platform with particles are very pretty. The spike collision can sometimes be a little janky. I would also suggest juicing up the game with particle effects and nice transitions. My final stats are Deaths:74, Coins: 309, Time: 21mins.

That's a respectable clear time for a first pass. Well played!

i gave PK feedback on the game before the jam ended. hopefully that was passed on, but wanted to replay the game and rate it. one minor point i think i didn’t mention before was that some of the walls (bricks) and moving platforms don’t have outlines like most of the other solid or semi-solids in the game, so there are a few places where they look like background elements but you collide with them. also the coin pickup sound effect seems much louder than everything else in the game.

overall, cute sprites (especially the girl) and great soundtrack! i really enjoyed jumping around and grappling things, and the level design is well done. great job!

Great addicting gameplay that had me stressed out the whole way!! Lots of variety for the platforming mechanics

I'm a fan of platform games so this one felt nice. Of course, some things could be improved but overall it's a pretty good game for 10 days of development!

I think you would like my submission, it's also a platformer :)

I liked it, a bit reminiscent of Celeste. The mechanics are nice, the music is good. Keep up the good work!

I don't have much to add: this was pure, simple fun!

Also, that is some killer chiptune! Although, the audio seems quite loud; it almost clipped my speakers at times.

Fantastic! Great work!

The grapple felt great, and levels explored a lot of scenarios with that mechanic. Very focused and entertaining.

Really good game, congrats!

Thanks for the feedback, everyone. I’ll use this to create a DX version of this game after the jam voting period ends. As for why the game feels kind of janky, it’s because it’s not quite finished…

You see, I originally had a 5 person team for this event, but our level designer got robbed and our composer left on their own, saying the project was “directionless,” leaving me and two graphic designers. From there the team kind of dissolved and I was left trying to find a new team midway through the jam. But I did, and we did the best we could to make this a worthwhile game. So I’d like to thank zacrous12, PureKnix and JaxxenCheney for their help with this game, it couldn’t have been done without you.

cute platform game, the mechanics are well used.

the music and sounds are a little aggressive at first but then it gets better.

i find the theme a little distant (like Lily's objective ;) but otherwise nice work !

Really cute platformer with 2 really great mechanics, levels are insteresting, really good use of coin trail and other thigs to guite the player and there is always variety on the platforming. But even with this said I had some problems with it:

- The music at the first level it's too bombastic/loud, using instruments that resonate a lot and make it a bit unplesant to listen to (but from that point going forward the music is quite good!)

- Sometimes the collisions can be really strange, making you die because you clipped a bit on a platform with spikes on top using the hook at the bottom or just by jumping into them (this only happens in the last level)

But yeah other than those 2, literally the rest is a very well crafter experience!! Congratulations and very good job ^^

Fun and smooth platforming, but it could fit the theme of 'space' better

Sweet game. I like how responsive and quick the gameplay is. Horizontally it's fun to jump around but having to go upwards was often frustrating. It just didn't feel as cool as gliding through the air.

Artwork/music - absolutely brilliant.

Really enjoyable platforming. Combining the different moves is fun.
