How does your game match the theme?
You play as Lyra the space dog who works in the port of a space station. Her job is to fill luggage containers optimally so that little space is wasted. Full containers need to be dispatched to the correct space dock where they will be loaded into the space shuttles for departure.

Hello,

I really liked how you combined two interpretations for space. Graphics looked great! I think a narrative could make the game a little more engaging.

Thanks for sharing!

Original take on the theme (mostly with the airport part) and nice graphics. Sadly I felt like I could dispatch the containers to the wrong space dock and nothing would happend, but as you said you didn't impemented everything you wanted and I think the barcode at the bottom is supposed to tell the player where each luggage must go (Moo for Moon I guess, Mar for Mars but probably not implemented).

I enjoyed what I played though!

I love the different ways you applied the theme! The art is quite adorable too. Didn't expect a space airport game but you absolutely delivered on something unique. Nice job!

Really cute game art and I really like the idea! Congrats on submitting and hope you continue building :)

Very cool game! I like the visuals. They are simple, but pleasant to the eye and subtle details like moving background behind the window makes everything more interesting to look at. The gameplay felt very classic and retro. Felt a little like playing tetris but with some original twists. I also really enjoyed music and the overall idea of a dog working on a space port. Good job!

The art and palette is pleasant, and the skeleton for the mechanics is solid. Great work! Congratulations on the submission!

Great concept, and very nice art and music!

This was really nice and cute! Lovely graphics, you have a really solid base if you decide to keep implementing stuff. Great job!

so at some point i was stuck, i needed few 1 by 1 boxes to complete but they never came.. and i dont see how to re-arrange the containers (if that is possible)

but overall, nice relaxing game. good job!

thanks for playing. I’m not sure about the final mechanics. maybe it’s bad luck that the cart is not optimally full and you need to dispatch it early. or you I implement a better logic so that the set of items is guaranteed to fill the cart. or maybe you can move an item to storage to get a better one….

Really like the idea behind this game. It lacks some overarching goal although I see it as a calm, relaxing game the way it is (however luggage is moving super fast, which made me feel like I'm already losing when it just started!). Amazing graphics and soundtrack!

Developer

Thanks for playing and the feedback. Yes, indeed. the pace is a bit fast. the idea was that the conveyor is one of those at the baggage claim, where the items rotate around… so you’ll never loose an item. but I haven’t found a good way to show this w/o wasting too much screen real-estate. maybe having the curves of the conveyor visible and have new items added from the bottom if there is space.

Cute protagonist!

This is a great foundation for a solid game, looking forward to see this fleshed out. Nice presentation, and the gameplay was smooth and intuitive. Congrats!

Developer

thanks for the compliments.

The graphics are pretty good, although it would have been nice if the main character had a bit of animation. The soundtrack is very pleasant.

The central mechanic of picking up luggage and loading the docks works rather well, although it took me a little while to figure out where I'm supposed to stand to drop off the luggage.

The main thing missing here is the overarching structure: when and how does the player's performance get evaluated? Should gameplay be divided into days? Should there be any way to extend the player's shift (or, by making errors, to shorten it)?

Thanks for playing. Those are all fair points. Due to lack of time, I only implemented to basic mechanics. The idea will be that the different luggage pieces will have different destination labels, which you need to look at and place in the correct cart. once a cart is full, you dispatch it to the correct dock. you get points accordingly (correct vs incorrect luggage etc). if you make the flight delay, you get minus points. I also envisioned that you can walk more left/right to different docks. and that you also need to go to the arrivals, and unload carts to get new empty ones…..

Neat concept, the gameplay runs pretty smooth for what it is!

the overall game and idea are great, and I love the sounds, though the gameplay lacks what I think you could've had if you had more time.

Cute game! The idea is really cool, just needs some more polish and a tutorial. I hope you keep working on it after the jam, maybe you could add oddly shaped packages to mix it up. Good job! :D

Hey good job getting your submission in even if you did not get to implement everything!

Adorable design! This spoke to my need to organize ^^

Little dog works so hard!

Luckily, the music is very calming.

Keep on stacking those boxes, doggo!

Really good idea, fun graphics. And I liked the music a lot. I could imagine a little more polish really elevating this to the next level!

(It's telling me that there's not enough room for the last couple of items that seem like they should fit. But maybe I'm misunderstanding something.)

thanks for playing. yes, the idea is that after a cart is full, you need to dispatch it to the correct dock, where the shuttle flight is going…. but this logic is still missing.
