good implementation and surprisingly addictive :-) I liked the idea of nudging the machine to try to improve the luck. the art style and sound totally suits this kind of game (I like the 9-eyed and blank dice faces :-) )

well done!

thank you for playing!

thank you for playing… hmm, you should be able to use the arrow keys to select the controls on the top, after the rabbit dies the first time. (i.e. the game doesn’t allow you to move the character)….

thank you for playing and the feedback. we would have loved to add more scenes, but ran out of time. regarding the UI, maybe adding the timer dials just above the characters would have made it more obvious, and maybe write delay by X seconds as a tool tip or something.

thank you for playing.

(1 edit)

thanks for playing and the kind words.

That is usually because you enable SharedArrayBuffer support, which is not necessary anymore in current Godot versions. Just in case you didnt know :)

oh. on a chromium browser this doesn’t happen, I think just firefox. but I didn’t know about the SharedArrayBuffer, let me try. thanks!

the cursor mechanics is good (maybe a tad too slow), but I think that in general, a cursor controlled by a d-pad (or joystick) is always a bit awkward. so I try to avoid it when developing for GB and try to find an alternative solution, eg:

  • only allow to select the objects that are interactable (this of course gives away a lot of the discoverability
  • having a character “play” the cursor.

great game. loved the art style and the sfx. well done.

nice implementation of a classic. well done.

wow. what a great game. I really like all of it. well done!

good job. the objective was not very clear but the physics are cool.

Cool game and good story.

Very cool. I like the idea (obviously). The art style and the cutscene are cool. The only thing that’s a bit awkward is the control of the cursor via the d-pad, due to the GB restrictions. Maybe make Jonko walk around, more platformer like. Nevertheless, well done.

Thank you for playing. Glad you liked it.

yes, you are right. this is a bit unfortunate. (you can stop and rewind, but I think that the rabbit should jump over the frog nevertheless; or gets poisoned :-) )

Very nice game. I loved the story and the little jokes. Nice effect with the music changes outside/inside. Well done.

Very good implementation of the theme and solid game. Loved it, especially the twist at the end. I loved the idea with the lamps as checkpoints. Well done.

Great game. well done. cool idea.

love the art style and variety of the items. well done.

thanks. that is true. the idea was that we had more complex puzzles where things happening at the beginning would influence later events… but a replay from checkpoint would help certainly.

Thank you for playing. Yes, that’s a good idea.

crazy…weird…disturbing… it’s art!

I loved the art and sound effects. The concept of choosing a random bullet is a great interpretation of the theme. well done.

Nice an polished game. I loved the animations. The slope-sliding is a bit frustrating :-) Well done.

thank you for playing. yes, I think the small form factor makes it difficult to show more complex interactions (of course, in my mind I imagined “final destination” like mishaps :-) )

ah ok… I try again….

thank you for playing. yes. I initial had it more verbose, eg: “start delay: 2 seconds”…. but then i removed it due to space constraints. maybe show an explicit clock above the actors while playing would make it more understandable.

Thank you for playing. I agree the UI navigation is a bit a hassle. Maybe make the configuration step more prominent and not on “hidden” behind the clock button.

I love the idea and the art style. Too bad you couldn’t finish, the bit I could play was fun. Well done.

Cool game! I loved the interaction with the people on the phone. Genius idea that you made everything play out in the same room. well done.

Very polished game that matches the theme very well. Love the art style and the sfx. Is there a second tape once you get enough credits?

Very nice game. I like the art and the music/sfx. I didn’t quite get what to do in the first pit. you pick up the monsters and throw…but then?

I like the minimalistic art style. I would have loved and indicator on the map where the customer are waiting. but overall, good work!

Great game. The art style and the music are very good. I found navigating the maze a bit difficult without a map. I played like 4 times the first floor, but never managed to kill the boss… I found it too difficult.

nevertheless, Well done!

very nice game. love the art the and the VVVV style. but I got quickly stuck when I ran out of seeds.

Wow, what a great experience. I loved the fading dithering at the edges and the visual clues to guide you to the spawn triangles. the music is calming and totally matches to rainy mood. well done!

Best game ever. Really liked it, although I got super frustrated when after almost maxing out speed and size, I had problems getting after the first ant. But I made it! fun game! well done.

maybe I missed it, but some information on how to “beat” the insects would be nice. I tried to eat them from behind or above at first…. until I realized they just have to be off screen.

fun game. would be cool to have more different enemies. the music is nice an calming, good contrast to all the shooting :-) good job!

Super Game! I like how you took the standard matching game mechanics and added new twists with the flower progression. nice art and sound effects. well done!

Nice art and interesting music. it lacks some progression and gets a bit repetitive soon. but well done!
