Nice work!

Good message, nice visuals and really calming music. Jumping was delayed though, which was something I had to get used to.

There were some visual issues, the background wasn't seamless, you could see the cutoff of some trees. White lines would appear on  movement and it was hard to distinguish what part you could jump towards and stand on.

I did run into some gameplay issues as well

1) I could repeat dialogue with one of the NPCs over and over again.

2) My game bugged out twice, where I collected all garbage but the game wouldn't let me progress (Apparently going into caves reset your progress)

3) After doing the whole run and talking to the garbage collector, I didn't know what to do. I kept circling around the whole map but nothing happened.

thank you for playing and the feedback ! Currently, we haven’t progressed enough yet past the garbage collector area . So that is all we have so far!

Great looking entry and I really like the combination of survival mechanics with a platformer. I honestly had a lot more fun than I was expecting. My biggest difficulty was that it often felt like there was a delay between me hitting the jump button and my character jumping which made the platforming difficult at times. But overall had a lot of fun, nice job!

The atmosphere is nice, but the platforms could be varied. A map could help you find your way around. I like the survival aspect but didn't go too far because I was lost and losed patience.

Cool and relaxing game. The art is really pretty, but there are some graphical issues like the seams between the tiles and the z layers of the tree leaves are a bit weird (sometimes I would be behind, sometimes in front). Overall, it is still a really nice entry. Good job !

Nice chill game. I saw some visual issues with seams between blocks and the jump felt very delayed, but I liked the take on the theme. I really liked the look of the dialogue frames as well.

Cute game! Very relaxing playthrough, nicely done in that regard. If I had to be a little picky, the art style seems to change a bit depending on what I’m looking at. For example, some of the UI elements look like they might be vector art while others are pixel art or hand drawn. However, I still had a lot of fun playing!

This is a really nice and chill game with a great art style. I love the fact that exploration is encouraged, as I had fun exploring the mountain and interacting with the spirits. Maybe the fall damage could be kinder but overall I still had a great experience. Good job!

The game is good,  it gives a great vibe of chill and relax

Controls in general, but especially the jump  are a bit difficult to use. Surely a bit of polish on them will help

Nice game! I love the art and music in the game. There seems to be difference in sound effect when the panda is in the cave and outside the cave so I think this game is well-polished. Anyway great work!

Developer

Thanks for noticing! There are separate effect filters for both when you're in a cave and when the game is paused. I had a lot of fun implementing them!

great graphics and music.

unfortunately I found controlling the panda difficult and had a hard time jumping up the trees. also, when you fall into the pit, you have to start from way far back at the campfire.

but great work nonetheless!

A good mix of things going on here.  I like the art style and the theme/atmosphere.  Felt a bit lost at the beginning but that's not a bad thing in my opinion.  Encouraged exploration nicely.

Really cool experience. I like the idea of mixing a survival game with mental health topics and platforming like Celeste. With some polish and more work and time it will be a game worth paying for! The graphics were outstanding and I really liked the music. Great work overall. I think it would be nice if replenishing your hunger meter made you restore health, as a little suggestion.

Love the art style, transitions, animations and dialogs!

Very enjoyable atmosphere and storytelling. It's true what others said: controls could use some refinement, but great job overall :)

Very cute and amazing sprite art!  I wasn't able to finish it but I appreciate the chill vibes. I think optional fast travel points scattered throughout could help with the slow pace of the game not making it feel like lost time. If I missed them then I would suggest adding one sooner as a tutorial. Missing a jump or going the wrong direction felt like a burden with how slow the red panda moved. But enough griping, I loved the atmosphere and it felt like a real journey trying to get to the top. Also the survival mechanics were a nice touch.

Agree with pretty much everything that's been mentioned here!

Game feels very charming but could use better controls and some polish here and there.

Also: for the burrows, you're using one scene that spawns the player from the left hand side, no matter if, in the overworld, the player entered the burrow from the left or right, therefore breaking the illusion. Consider checking the origin on a variable and then spawning the player entrance in the burrow scene based on that variable :)

Beautiful game! I really liked character design. The panda is very cute. Environment is good too and helps create a peaceful and relaxing vibe.

Audio design is great. Background music fits the game perfectly.

As for platforming, I think there is some room for improvement. There is only one jump that feels a bit floaty and there are no special moves or tricks. It could be fixed with interesting levels but there are a lot of reused sections (trees) that get stale after a few times.

Sometimes, I felt directionless while playing, I didn't know if I should go up or down.

Good job! Good luck with your future projects!

Nice game overall. The controls could use some fine tuning but I liked the art and vibe.

Nice game. A story is really interesting. The color make me feel comfy. Scene and environment work well with the song.
