Interesting game, the player controls well and the art was really good. The AI is definitely odd since most of the lizards just stand around and don't react to getting killed. The ones that did try to attack me would usually stand out of range of me and stand there attacking, dealing no damage while I killed them. I also noticed the same bug the previous commenter did as well where attacking one enemy would cause them all to flash. That said, the overall presentation was good and the audio was a nice backdrop to running through the tower.
Concept seems fine. The artstyle and the music was nice but the game had major flaws.
1) AI had a difficult time hitting me or even spotting me. I could go in front of them and they wouldn't do anything sometimes.
2) The AI would also not realize they are taking damage.
3) You can also skip all the enemies and go straight to the gate, which defeats the purpose of exploring and eventually fighting the enemies. (would've been better if you had to pull a lever to open the gate)
4) The game would also freeze upon destroying boxes or barrels for the first time. The download version recovers but the browser version freezes and eventually crashes
Also noticed something. Hitting 1 enemy would cause all the others to glow up as well, as if they were also taking damage
Hey man thanks for the feedback we are working on somethings that you said.
Great job! I think it could be improved in relation to fluidity of movement and with the addition of some animation, but either way I enjoyed it. I hope you will continue to improve it :)
Really nice visuals in this game, fun to see another Godot game in this game jam! Looking forward to seeing the gameplay improve should you continue to develop this game! Nice work!
I think you have got a great start and the art is amazing! looking forward to see where the game goes after the jam :)
Thanks man follow us to see the game finished.
The game will stop for a couple of seconds for me if I break the barrels, I also thought the game was a bit too easy you can just skip all the enemies and open the gates to end to get to the end, maybe putting a key to find or something would have been better. With that said the graphics were really nice and even tough the enemies weren't hard to beat I think you did a good job
Thank you for the feedback, indeed we know that the enemies was bugged, but did'nt have time to finish for the jam, but stay tuned in the game as we will develop more into that game.

Pretty good pixel art :0 Truly a great work!
Enemies were a bit glitchy but still enjoyable n.n
Thank you for the feedback, indeed Garibaldi made a good job doing all the art for the game from scratch, we know that the enemies was bugged, but did'nt have time to finish for the jam, but we are working on some bugfixes for that.
the visuals are very good and the environment is cool as well. the enemy ai had a flaw where he would stand there and attack the air, but apart from that the game was very fun to play. (oh yea, when i broke the barrels my power went out or smth xDD) but gj overall!
Thank you for the review!
Yeah, Garibaldi did a great job with the arts. Sadly we hadn't time to fix the enemy AI before the jam end. Despite this, I feel like we did a good job as a team of beginners!
we had trouble with our ai as well lol. That’s awesome I didn’t know this is your first game! Gj! Our first game was no where near this level :)
The pixel art here is quite stellar for a game jam entry - it felt consistent throughout the level and the elements within it, which I feel is quite often not the case with some pixel art games. Excellent job on that.
Others have already mentioned the stranger aspects of the enemies, so I won't get into that; I do think the environment could be used to better effect - I had a strong urge to break every object on each level, and really would have liked to discover anything within them, whether that be powerups or health boosts. Just something or another to reward the player for interacting with the level.
Thanks for the review!
Garibaldi worked very very well with the art. The enemy IA is kinda messed, sorry for that, I hope to fix that.
About the things inside objects, it's a common but really good idea! For sure we'll add something like that after polish the game.
Wow, I can't believe this is a game jam game, it looks so good! It plays pretty cleanly too, except for the strange behaviors of the enemies which a couple other people mentioned. Great job, congrats to your team!
Thank you!
As I said in other responses, it's sad that we hadn't enough time to fix the enemy AI, but fix it is the main priority right now.
Highlighting the positives first, the pixel art is spectacular; the game looks beautiful. For the gameplay, it would be good to change the behavior of the enemies, as they barely react if you stab them in the back, haha. Aside from that, it's a very good job ^^
We are working on the enemys AI to solve that bug, keep following the game we will finish it after the jam.
Thanks! Credits to Garibaldi who made the arts.
great art style and a working level. keep it up!
great art, pretty empty levels so far. I found it weird that I didn't have to kill the enemies - I just go to the gate press E - game over. But I think the vibe is definitely there - the first time I destroyed a barrel my browser froze up for a good 5 seconds. Anyways very ambitious for a game jam, it has a lot of potential!
oh yeah, that barrel did'nt work as planed, but we are working on that, and the enemy AI as well, great tip on the Gate, we will work on something after the jam.
I'd say you have a good foundation to build a nice game upon! At the current state it feels quite empty and easy, but I really like the looks of it! Keep on working on it and this one could be awesome :)
Thanks for the comment. We intend to continue working
Loved the art but enemys were very easy.
Hey man, thanks for the feedback, yeah we are having a hard time with the enemy AI, i'm already working on the bugfix for that.
I guess your barrel crushing sound has extreme loading times. Either pre-load it or just fix the file.
Art was good but enemy AI was nearly non existent. Fighting made the game worse. Since there was no fighting there was no game mechanics left to discuss.
The sfx for the envirioment was add by the end of the jam, not much time to test the things, but i will fix that, using your suggestions, thanks for the feedback.
The most gorgeous artwork I've seen this entire jam, seriously impressive work if this was done for the jam. I finished the game but I think hit a but where enemies wouldn't hit back on level 2. Overall, looks like a great beginning of an epic action rpg game. Hope you guys take the time to continue it!
My man i did played your game, and for my taste your game looks incredible, i leaved a comment there on more details on what i think, our game will be improved on time for now we are just working on the bugfix.
gorgeous visuals, the gameplay got a bit repetitive, but I'm impressed by the enemy behavior.
Great artwork! However, I couldn't progress in the game. Should we have more than one level?
Thanks man, for the levels we have two, but neither of them are as good as planed, we will work on that after the jam, it was my first experience with level design...
