fun take on the theme. was a nice change to play a rhythm game. I think having a bit more of a jump buffer/ some coyote time would make the platforming feel a little better. overall good job :)

overall fun game good polish. I was able to soft lock my self a few times and sequence break a few puzzles but was neat to get good and controlling both cubes

You probably just didn't have the 2nd resource required which seems to have a sprite that is too similar to the first, a few people have made this mistake something we will probably look at changing in the future.

Thanks for playing! The name was something that I came up with pretty much a day before we finished the game! we were struggling to come up  with something we liked, but we thought the play on words was a good fit for the theme

cool take on the theme, it is really satisfying to get the perfect hook set and pull the fish right up! I like that if you catch fish in the wrong order it pops back into the pond and get to keep fishing, smooth game play.

I think you have got a great start and the art is amazing! looking forward to see where the game goes after the jam :)

the ui doesn't quite work properly in window mode blurry text and storage doesn't line up properly but no problems when I swapped to full screen.

overall game was fun, I would have like to be able to catch more fish on the reeling up or even just have a sprite of the fish on the hook that u caught. I liked the scaling of the fish after u catch them was a nice touch for selling them off and enjoyed the sprites and music!

Love the art and aesthetic of the game, I think you have a great start with what you got done

What a great time it was playing this! I managed to get to the end in a little over 9 mins. Falling off  a few times having to catch myself on the rocks I just climbed up a to save myself and keep scaling up to the top really makes you be carefully about grabbing the next hold to not fall again. Great art and chill music, very nice job!

simple and fun game. I found my self mostly just wanting to get a double/triple jump box to boost up to the stars. It would have been interesting to have other obstacles on screen for puzzles to solve and to make more use of the platform box

thanks for playing! a few people have brought up the idea of click and hold to mine, Maybe a "auto swing" or drill upgrade to the pick would be a cool add in the future :)

the shop *should* be work fine to progress through upgrades, Seems like you ran into the same problem a few people have been having where the water and air shards are a little too similar looking when they are shrunk down to the icon size so you think you have the right resources for an upgrade but you do not. Possibly will have to do some re spriting in the future or swap the order of the dragons to put some separations between water and air to make the differences in the sprites more clear. thanks for playing :)

EDIT: he beat me to the comment haha

Thanks for playing! appreciate the detailed feedback!

My partner did implement a randomized pitch for the digging sound but it did seem to be pretty hard to tell the change with the sound effect itself, we could probably increase the pitch change to try and make it easier to hear.

we had also implemented a sound effect with the combo it would go through the A minor musical scale which is where the play on words for the name came from. We ended up taking it out as it also seemed pretty annoying with the music and other sounds and long combos, but something we would like to re work in the future! we have the visual counter in the bottom corner for combo but I think it would be nice to maybe have an X combo indicator tied to the cursor to make it easier to see.

and bigger upgrade buttons hopefully soon to come! I too had the same problem with trying to click it sometimes while doing some play testing, but I didn't get it changed due to time constraints

overall very fun! on my first playthrough I got steam rolled by the first fight! but on the second play through once I understood more of the dragons abilities I beat the first fight only to get steamrolled again by the second fight! on my third play though I easily beat the first fight and managed to win the second fight as I got better at positioning my dragons to avoid the enemy dragons being able to hit multiple of my dragons and better planning on the board but once again I got steam rolled by the third fight! continuing to try several more times I still haven't managed to beat the king! I enjoy the decision making aspect of deciding if I scale up one dragon to take up more of the board and be harder to kill or spread out my dragons to overwhelm the board!

I think you have a very unique idea and enjoyed playing, however my note of feedback would be on maybe having another mechanic on how you get energy for the player similar to the sparkle dragon the ai gets. having my energy coming just from controlling more of the board feels very "win more", if I'm doing well I don't really need more energy and if I'm doing poorly there is no chance I can make a come back even with clever play.

nice quick and simple game. I like the art, and there is something just fun about being a giant dino!

Thanks for checking out the game :D

A tutorial / tool tips is something we have been talking about wanting to add to smooth out the gameplay experience once the jam voting is over and we can make non game breaking bug fixes. We ended up pivoting our idea about half way through the jam after we realized our original idea wasn't gonna play how we wanted it to. So unfortunately it was something we had to cut due to the jam deadline fast approaching (as they always do lol) to get core gameplay finished and then hopefully really polish it up later.

combo was our fun way of giving players who wanted to actively mine more of an incentive and reward for engaging with the "clicker" aspect, but it is still beatable if u just wanna idle away and have your robot minions do all the work for you! Thanks for the feedback, glad you were able to figured things out.

ah okay I think I didn't water it the first couple of days

Cool little game! was a little confused on how to get things going at first but once I figured it out all good, would have like to have some kind of animation knowing that I hit the enemy's when I was shooting sometimes was hard to hear the sound over music and gun shot. Also not sure if the crop just takes a long time to grow? I was only able to harvest from the cows. overall felt nice to play :)

mine is green too a good choice! haha I think probably about 22 years ago now I got it

Something about a frog licking a butterfly to change dimensions was really funny to me! Great puzzles and good mechanics, well done! :)

Thank you! I still have my Gameboys but I still need to get the hardware to play the games on handheld too. I'm really excited to actually try playing it in real life! the web browser is great but something about being able to make my own physical copy is really exciting.

Thanks for playing and thanks for the feedback! I definitely agree later on I would have liked to have a few more different enemy types and movement patterns but jam timeline I just made them all the same :P  and I did notice the delay happening when I was play testing it, I'd have to go back and check how I did the code to see if there is anyway to make it update faster or stop quicker when you die would make things play better for sure!

that's a cool bit of info I had no idea either!

Really cool idea! For your first jam I think this is amazing! was really interesting to read how the different interactions were perceived in each dimension

Man this unlocked some old memories! that was a blast to play! I used to spend hours playing Bike Race on my ipod touch another similar style game to Elasto Mania. Really like the night ride vibes, only thing that would have made me enjoy it more would have been some engine sounds from the bike

Cool idea! I like the arcade style a lot, I did have some issues with crashing after I collected the first few gems but I assume it is probably something on my end

thank you! that means a lot, I'm really happy with how it ended up... half way through the jam ready to just give up but finished it out lol

Thanks for checking it out! If I had more time I would have loved to put in more bebop references maybe even try to make some songs!

thanks for checking it out! :)

I think you have a cool idea here! I did find the controls a little had to get the hang of and block/parry timing. I like the armour it reminds me of a rune set from runescape :D

super cool! a lot of fun to play. Had a small "glitch" I guess where in the 4th race I made the jump over gap but juuuust barely and then as I moved forward I fell through like I had missed the jump from not enough speed but other than that all was smooth racing B) great job!

Cool idea! made me think of all the hours I used to spend playing spore!

Really liked your story and aesthetics! drifting around feels awesome. Found it hard to find my way to some delivery locations would have like the old crazy taxy arrow or something thing to help point me in the right direction instead of just the mini map, but overall really  good!

I really like the art and aesthetics you went for!  game felt fun I did feel like I had to many enemy's to deal with at some points and was just always spamming special so I didn't have to worry about switching. overall nice job :)

It is not  pretending! Gb studio lets you build games specifically for Gameboy so the rom file can be downloaded and flashed onto a Gameboy cartridge and played on the hand held! this one would need Gameboy colour :D it is really interesting to make games with but it is very limiting for total amount of things you can have going on on scree for the game boy hardware

Nice to see another space shooter in the jam!  felt good to play not sure if enemy's were supposed to attack?  I know it can be hard to fit in tons of stuff during the jam timeline but I think a few more mechanics and you have a really solid game :)

the art is amazing! There is just something about shooting stuff out of a sling shot that is a ton of fun! well done :)

A lot of funny references and game felt smooth and really nice to play

Had to dust off some old flapping skills I forgot I had, funny twist on the life of flappy bird

This felt really good to play and was lots of fun! good puzzles and flipping back and forth to solve them was neat!
