Really fun game with a great style. It took me a while to realise that your type changes to the type you get hit by but that's a great mechanic. There's some depth to this, I only wish it had more rounds! Good work!

How does your game fit the theme?
You can use your cards however you like. One single card can be source of heal or you can reverse its role and it can be deadly attack to your oppenent. With 2 card trays instead of classic one, you can create different situations such as playing AS your opponent.

Cool game, but I find a bug that if you do not press next round botton for a long time, you will lose your card in the table. And I think you may provide player chances to do not do anything to protect themselves. It is a really good game. Good job!
I love the game's art and UI design. The game mechanisms are interesting, although they were hard to understand at first. Despite this, it's still a very good game.
A bit hard to apprehend but really nice and enjoyable when you get your hang of it!
Pretty clever mechanics ! I really like it ! Some of the balance need to be tweaked i think, for instance i felt like the "leaf" cards were the less useful, and in the first round of the game i had no card that could damage the opponent so we just stared at each other and healed ourselves. Also leaf not healing fire felt a bit..off. And lightning damaging itself was strange too, you'd think more lightning makes it more powerful. The memo card were essential in playing the game, thank god you made them. " I'd love to see what it could become if you're planning to work on it some more after the jam !
Thanks a lot for your review! Yes I'm planning to upgrade it in the future, but probably as a real life card game.
Leaf was designed to heal actually, I agree with you, they are less useful than others. I will change that in the future. And "Leaf healing fire" makes a lot of sense. I wonder why I didn't think that? I would definitely add that in the next update. Thanks for your game and its meta review. Means a lot for me! Best of luck, cheers! ^^
This was mind melting. I managed to beat the first stage but I'm not entirely sure how

It was confusing at first (you threw a lot of instructions out at the beginning) but after a couple of tries I was able to figure it out. It probably would have helped if there were an info icon I could click during gameplay so I could see the tutorial info again. Also, the game seems to have soft-locked at one point. Wasn't sure why though.
I was able to defeat stage 3, and I think you're awesome too!
Edit: Added a star. I award 2 stars for partial game mechanics; but yours was a full experience. 3 stars!

A card game is a fun idea! I think you were a bit loose with the theme. Still, the rules of how the cards worked were consistent enough for me to grasp, so that's a win. I think I wish I understood the two slots better at first. Also, it didn't make sense to me that I could choose who the demon played their card on.
Edit: Added 2 stars! I don't know what kind of tired or burned out I was when I first wrote this review, but it truly is a great idea. I love how you applied the theme, and brought together so many features! Is there room for improvement? Yes, but no need for me to be stingy. 4 stars!

Would have liked more music and/or sound effects. Visuals were pretty light, but what you had was smooth.
Edit: 'what you had was smooth'. SMH. By my own rubric, this should be 3 stars. Apologies for withholding a solid rating. I did feel like it suffered from lack of accessibility to the rules, which is why I keep it at 3, but you kept things alive with the element hints on screen.
I just saw your changes today. Your first ratings actually made me really depressive and I was feeling sad about them. And I thought everyone was going to give 1 or 2 stars because no one liked it. It was not about winning, it was about that I couldn't create a good project.
Thank you so much for your honesty and changes that you made along with it. I already took your review as a note for future updates. You really made my day, thank you.
I really like the art and the effort u guys put into guiding. The first card game I played in this jam was simple and polished.
This is really clever and a well thought-out card game! I thoroughly enjoyed the presentation too 😊
That's probably the most original idea I've seen in the jam so far! It's a pretty cool game, well done!
I like the concept here, but I would probably prefer it if it played a bit quicker :). Some of the animations felt a bit slow.
Managed to get the third level to single digit HP. Felt quite tactical when I got to the end with careful choice of order of cards to play.
Don’t know if it would improve if you weren’t forced to play every card in your hand? There were rounds where I didn’t really have any good options. But it might be a bit too easy if you didn’t have to play everything
Very unique concept! it was a bit hard to understand at first but once I understood it a little bit it was pretty fun!
Really cool card game, I wish I could take the card back if I place it by mistake and the animation after the cards are revealed feel a bit slow, but interesting concept regardless!
Really cool and feels really well polished in terms of presentation
Awesome concept! I wish there was a way to undo my card placement though, I tried and ended up triggering a bug that moved my card to the opponent's hand and soft locked my game :(
Still love the game though! Would make for a great physical card game too IMO, with the players holding on the recently discarded cards as a reminder of their current type.
Sadly I couldn't got the time to add undoing card moves, this is why there is end turn button actually.
I never saw this glitch. But there is one glitch that may be causing that. I fixed it for after-jam version. Thanks for reporting with screenshot. It's definitely really helpful. Thanks a bunch!
I have plans for this game to make it physical card game but I was thinking completely different object to keep track player's type. And you are amazing. Giving the discarded card is so simple and more effective idea. I'm definitely doing this. I hope you enjoyed besides the glitch you have encountered. Remember, you can skip tutorial with pressing and holding Q+E+Space if you want to play again.
Thanks a lot for everything, I will look your game too! It's looks so well polished. Have a good day! ʕっ•ᴥ•ʔっ
