I love the controls of this, it feels really good to play! The character is pretty cool too. In fact all the visuals are pretty aweome. Great job!

It is a little punshing though. It might have been better with some lives or a health bar rather than instant death. Also, and this is just my suggestion, but maybe map the rope to right mouse click and dash to left click? That way I can just keep my fingers on the movement buttons since I have to move so precisely.

Anyway, fun game dude. good job! :)

I couldn't get anywhere. It feels unplayably difficult.

The rope and platforming controls feel really good and make it rewarding to maneuver through incoming enemy bullets! The colors, sfx, music, and intro tutorial sequence are all great as well. Nice game!

I've spent a lot of time on the game, the furthest I got was exactly the first plateform above the forest, which looks a bit like the top end of the screen (but is actually not ;) ). I might switch to other games for the remaining time of the jam.

I really like the game, it sounds cool, looks even better and is very fun to play, I actually enjoy the rope mechanics.

I feel like knowing the moment when you can use the rope again would help, although I'm a bit lying to myself here because I would probably just mash the button instead of trying another solution even if I know it'll do nothing anyway.

Very solid game, thanks for sharing.

Great game! Cool mechanics, intense and difficult but in a mostly fair way! If you made me give one suggestion its that as of now the random bullet patterns combined with the level design will very rarely give you an unescapable death but anyways, amazing stuff you did here! I would love to see it polished into a full game!

I like it ! Rope is funny mechanic , and overall i had a good time. Good job!

Thanks a lot! <3

It took me 175 deaths, and meticulous planning of the route I would take, but I finally beat it. Loved this! The artwork is gorgeous, and the movement mechanics are really interesting. The rope was indeed difficult to control at the start, but I eventually learned the key of swinging out to the side in order to get a little more height. One thing I did eventually notice is that there is some randomness to the bullet patterns, so I could not plan out my route completely. With such a precision platformer movement style, I feel like I would want more regularity in the level design so that I can get the muscle memory down correctly. But overall, this was simply stellar and had me hooked. Excellent work!

I completely agree on the random patterns. To be honest, I wanted to make this to test if I could make a platformer bullet hell that really felt like both genres (idk if that makes sense), so I had pretty much no idea of what I was doing in terms of game design (like the level layout, abilities cd, enemy patterns). But I’m actually learning a lot from the feedback, and the randomness is really something I should work out. The rope also needs its work, but I’m glad you figured out the trick to make it work better hahahahah I was starting to think that I was the only one that used it like that since no one mentioned it. I’m very happy you liked it! Thanks a lot for playing <3

The rope felt very finicky, sometimes it wouldn't life me up onto the platforms. Definitely an extremely difficult bullet hell. I love the graphics and the sound effects so all around you did a great job.

Developer

Thanks a lot! The rope definitely needs some work >< but I’m glad you liked it overall

I enjoyed this a lot (I took 22 deaths, IDK how good or bad that is). The jumping and dash felt very good, but I found myself pretty frustrated with the rope controls. It felt like most of the time the rope would land me just before the next platform so I'd fall into a mass of projectiles, or it would launch me way too fast, right into a projectile. I don't know if you had some sort of attenuation with how long the player holds the rope button for, but you probably need to tweak how the rope launches you. Also the cooldown was very frustrating: I would press the rope key many times, just for nothing to happen and me to feel like the key is broken. Other than that, I had fun carving a path through the chaos of bullets.

Developer

Well it took me like 60 deaths the first time, so I’m confident that’s pretty good hahahaha I totally agree with the way the rope works, and it really needs a lot of tweaking (like a cooldown indicator and less cooldown). And it has no attenuation system of any sort (it’s all instantaneous), but that is actually a brilliant idea, I will definitely try to implement it for the next version Thank you very much for the feedback, I really appreciate it, and I’m glad you had fun playing my game ♡( ◡‿◡ )

I found myself very often thinking I was going to land on a platform but just about missing by a tiny margin. The difficulty could ramp up a little slower and the rope could recharge just a bit faster as I would sometimes go to use it just for it to not happen.

Developer(+1)

I definitely should have lowered the rope cooldown and added an indicator of some sort. I also thought on making the dash go a bit upwards for those moments you barely miss the platform. Sadly I didn’t have the time during the jam, but will definitely add that for the next version. Thanks a lot for the feedback, it really helps <3

The platforming controls feel very fluid and are satisfying to use! I liked it a lot, congratulations!

Developer

Muchas gracias! ^^

The move set is smooth and flows well into itself. I think an indicator on when you can activate the rope would help a lot.

Nice job!

Developer

Thanks a lot! That’s actually a great idea and definitely something I will add for the next version

Very cool conecpt! Had fun with it, it was a little bit hard tough :D

Very neat interpretation of the genre. Was able to figure out gamepad controls despite them not being documented, would be nice to add to the page description. Game is very tough but very fun. Hardest part for me was how far the rope sends you above platforms.

Developer

Yeah, I wasn’t able to test them (my gamepad broke before the jam Y.Y) so I wasn’t sure if they worked, but it’s great to hear they do, thank you! I’ll add them to the description then :3

I’m glad you had fun playing. Thanks! ^^

The way you intrepeted the limited theme was quite brilliant. Despite the fact that the player is affected by gravity, you gave plenty of movement options so that the player doesn't feel helpless under a rain of bullets. It's quite challenging though, so it'll take a while to master.

oh my god so challenging but so so fun, visuals and sound are amazing and the gameplay is super fun very very nice

Thanks a lotttt!! <3

This one is really tough but looks great!

Spreading out the controls would make it a little better for the player, trying to hit F and E keys with one hand is too challenging and if I use my second hand it's all too bunched up. Dash and Rope would be best on the J + K keys.

Developer

Thanks a lot! <3 I actually wanted to give the player the option to change the keybinding, but didn’t have time to implement it :( I will definitely add the J and K as default for the next version, as well as the keybinding
