Cool little game.

I have some problem with hitboxes. Because sometimes not really clear when bullet fly under building, and I need time for understanding this mechanic. Some hitboxes on the road, where kaiju. Visually clear but illogical.

All in all. Feeling that art is more important here than mechanics. And it should be the other way around. If you draw everything with a top-down view, you can get rid of some of the problems.

But it's look very good. Keep it up.

It's a very interesting concept, mixing tower defense into things! Very well polished as well.

It took me a while to notice the blue flashing borders around the buildings in the build phase, which made that part take a bit to understand.

Super cool! I like the mix of tower defense and bullet hell a lot. For feedback I would say having more than 1 level would be great so that you can really build up your towers over time.

It took me a bit to figure out exactly how the building mechanic worked and somehow pulled out a win without using any buildings. Tough, but fun, hope to see more waves in the future.

Really cool premise! The idea of meshing a tower defense and a bullet hell is definitely unique. The pixel art and overall polished aesthetic are excellent, and the whole thing looks like it would be right at home on a game boy color. I did have significant trouble figuring out where to place the buildings. The fact that the grid squares were flashing led me away from the 'H' symbols where the buildings actually needed to be placed. But if you work on a tutorial system and build onto the game with multiple levels/kaijus, this could be truly excellent!

Really nice gameplay mix !

I like the idea of having real time shooter gameplay in the middle of a tower defense type map this works really well.

The perspective of the buildings really reminded me of the very first sim city, which is appropriate cause you could have a kaiju attack on your city as well XD

The Kaiju is sooooo tanky though O_o even while shooting him like crazy and having a path where both turrets would hit him repeatedly i still lost :(

But hey still had fun regardless, and i’m curious how this could turn out more expanded with maybe more defenses unlockable for later levels and having different kaiju types stomping around different cities :D

Funny, I did not understand how to put the towers at first so I win once without any tower. Then I restarted to see how they worked.

The enemy patterns are good, the game is cool and offers a very coherent package, it's not big but quite polished.

Really intriguing idea to make a tower defense bullet hell, very polished graphics and audio too! I wish there was more emphasis on the tower defense end, the buying system wasn't too inutitive regarding tower costs and where towers could be placed. But very nice entry, plenty of potential here. Lots of fun!

What a cool concept! And the art and sound are quite good. It took a few tries, but I managed to take that kaiju down >:)

I think it would be more fun if the character moved just a smidge faster. I mostly ended up hiding behind buildings to avoid attacks, which was interesting and thematic, but being able to dodge more would be more exciting.

Your game is very cool but is it well-optimized? My pc is lag while playing this game.

We did struggle with performance partway during development but we'd found no issues during all our build testing so we're sorry to hear that performance is lagging on your computer! Thanks for the kind words despite that.
