Cool visuals, great sound effects, very clean overall. Wish it felt a bit more unstable, and the levels end pretty suddenly. Maybe a progress bar would be cool. Anyways, nice job

Maybe a little repetitive, would love to see some more boss fights in the future, but the graphics are awesome, the sound effects are clean, very well polished. Great job

yeah, of course, gotta help the fellow game devs out if I can. I've realized just how important play testing is and try to dedicate a whole day to it now. Still enjoyed it a lot I has some decent runs without bugs...well the unintended ones at least, tried to take out the other ones lol

It's so simple, but very well executed, I like the idea of dodging on the falling platforms forcing you to jump constantly and think ahead a bit about where you need to be. The flipping horse is also great. Ended up making it to 1:16 in my last try and could maybe go for longer. Nice job

I loved your game last year and had to try what you made this year. You did not disappoint. The art style looks great and I love the idea of the character select, although I started with fish girl and that was not a good idea as it felt way harder than the homing/wave one, but that's just a skill issue on my part lol. Really cool game play and as always, great job

I honestly made it way farther than I was expecting, The hitboxes were generous, which I greatly appreciated and the bullet waves were unique. I think I just grabbed every random powerup and like 90% of the time I got the giant fists which helped, but invisibility definitely screwed me over. Nice job

Thank you so much! I'm glad it all worked out

I like how the bullet waves match with the music. Very unique style too

Thank you for the high praise ;)

Thank you so much for all the positive feedback. You are always one of the first people to try my games and comment and it always makes me smile. Hope to continue seeing you in these game jams in the coming year

It's a very interesting concept forcing the player to stay in the waves for longer to avoid getting enraged. The UI is very clean and the intro is super cool. I ran into a few issues I wanted to point out for if you wanted to fix them in the future.

Idk if I just got super unlucky, but I swear I wasn't trying to break the game.

Bugs I encountered:

  • If you hold the mouse over the far left side of any of the buttons it makes the little dingaling sound like 50 times a second, not a big deal, just thought I'd point it out.
  • The menu music stopped playing after one loop sadly, I was bopping
  • One little bee persisted through the round if it wasn't killed, maybe that was intentional
  • I paused the game while the round started and two bees spawned and started growing very large and when I unpaused they exploded and soft locked the game
  • When I returned to the main menu from the pause menu, the mouse vanished
  • The scrolling to swap weapons was a little annoying because it would scroll the whole page
  • I used the heal while the enemies were spawning and it hit them for like 1000 damage, but for some reason they didn't die
  • The projectile values, like the scout, would show 3/1 and would only go back to normal when I scrolled off of it and went back
  • I killed 2 bees at once on wave 1 and it softlocked the wave
  • Enemies kept attacking from the top left after I killed them
  • None of the buffs I got applied until I swapped off the weapon I was using and back onto it

Sorry for all that. Good job overall! I still played it a lot (although I'm not very good) and enjoyed the game play loop

I love how your art looks, the mix between the pixel art and the sketch style art. Great job as always

oh, uhh I did get it to shoot with the keyboard. Movement was wasd and ijkl then shooting was q and o. So idk how but keyboard actually works great lol

It's fun to just flood the screen with bullets making it so your bullets are the only ones you have to dodge. It's a simple and fun design making missing  your shots somehow punishing and rewarding if you happen to hit another enemy. Nice Job

The greed fight was a bit hard to look at with the bright yellow and light blue. I think a little feedback that you are actually damaging the boss would be great. I also somehow killed Wrath after I died which was a bit weird. A few other people have said it, but I think background music would've helped a lot with the repetitive bullet sound and otherwise eerie silence.

With that out of the way, the Visuals were amazing, I love the idea of using the bosses names in attacks. The moving Sloth at the end made the fight much more dynamic and interesting (Ironic how it is the sloth boss that is moving). You did a great job with audio for your first time and overall nice submission

Very interesting idea, the one problem I had with it was more of the game play was about trying to get hit rather than trying to dodge the bullets, but still not bad, I'm glad I was able to play with keyboard too. Otherwise the visuals are great, so are the sound effects and music. Nice job

Wow, thanks so much for playing. You're the first one to get that ending other than me, congrats!

You can probably tell the tutorial was a little rushed lol. I wanted to implement it better, but ran out of time since I was the only one doing art and coding.

I love those ideas and I'll definitely try and implement them in the future. Thank you so much for all the feedback.

Hey, great job for your first game!

One thing I found a little strange is only my numpad worked to change colors which I found a little strange, but that should be an easy fix.

The sound track is a little repetitive, and if you are doing a game where color matters a lot, try to avoid colors like red and green to make it more accessible to people who are color blind, especially for stroop difficulty.

Otherwise, its a really cute game. A simple idea and well executed. Nice Job!

Background art is great for the menu. The coins are a unique take on the consequences idea. Nice submission

I'm glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for the feedback on the camera, I can see why that'd be annoying, especially when rolling.

It took me a bit to figure out what freeze did, but I love the idea of making your movement options be punishing later. Its a cute art style and nice music. My biggest issue is I'm not nearly good enough to play this game. maybe having more than one life would help a bit? Nice job though

I was a bit scared that the RNG of not getting an upgrade was going to make it feel too luck based, but I feel like you hit a really good balance. The game play is fun and simple, the rooms are very well designed, nice visuals and graphics, overall great job!

Fun little game, the only issue I had with it is it doesn't really seem to fit the whole idea of consequences. I get that its the consequences of your crime, but its not like we have any other choices.

Otherwise, visuals are fun and simple, bullets are easy to interpret, I like the idea of going through each stage of the robbery and what comes after. Overall good job

I was not expecting to be playing  dating sim in this jam, but you honestly did such a great job. It's a unique take on the idea of consequences and the bullet hell section was so well executed. great job!

Honestly one of my favorite games yet, the art style is unique and consistent, the ui is clean, the game play is easy to understand and I love the idea of different ending based on how many casualties or enemies you kill. Overall amazing job!

Aww, thank you, I'm glad you liked it. It was definitely stressful, but I did end up getting it done

Hey,  thanks to you I was able to fix the bug, I really appreciate all your help

That's fair, well thanks for the help with looking for the bug, I might be able to figure it out. I'll check your game out as soon as I get the chance

Huh, thanks for getting the error message, I'll see if I can fix it (line -1 does not make it easy lol). So it's happening when you leave? Is there a text bubble up at the time or did you just buy an item maybe?

Just a warning, the other 4 endings are a lot more difficult, lmk if you need any help figuring them out

Darn, sorry about the crashes, I had one other person experience them during play testing and for the life of me I haven't been able to replicate the error. thanks for playing through it though, I'm glad you enjoyed it.

I wish there was a bit more sound effects, but the intro music goes so hard and it's really cool concept, good job!

The goal is to collect enough acorns for the winter, if you plant more ents, it definitely becomes more of a bullet hell but also makes it easier to collect nuts, thanks for the feed back though

yeah, I definitely wish the game wasn't so based on rng. I'm glad you like it though, thank you for playing

The rope felt very finicky, sometimes it wouldn't life me up onto the platforms. Definitely an extremely difficult bullet hell. I love the graphics and the sound effects so all around you did a great job.

I love the idea of only attacking when you are not moving. The cost of things does seem to go up extremely fast, but all around great job

Like the graphics, nice job

The biggest thing I'd say is hit boxes seem a little weird for the perspective the game is in. also maybe some indicator of where the enemies spawn would be nice. Otherwise though, super creative idea, I definitely appreciated the heals after a lot of the rooms. nice job

I love the idea of the zones, super creative way to implement the theme. I also really like how you start the round with just one enemy to introduce it. All around amazing job.

I'm glad you liked it, thank you so much for playing : )

Yeah I should definitely make the mines stand out a little more. I'm glad you liked it, thanks for playing : )
