Fast-paced and fun, I enjoyed the game. The music is really exciting. I'm not sure if the colorful floor made me a bit confused, but I think the bullets could use a bit more contrast. Great game, congratulations
I feel like it's just a rare instance where you need to keep track of 3-4 different attackers at the same time, so you easily get cornered if you only focus on one (f.e during weaving). The dance floor primarily prevents just reading the bosses attack since you can't just look for motion, but need to actually look at the middle to determine which attack is coming
I really enjoyed your game with its moody graphics, remineded me a bit of 20MTD :)
Great job! Also really hard but once everything clicked, it flowed well. Gave you a nice rating! If you like to check out our game too! :)
I enjoyed very much this game! Nice work here!
The difficulty is so crazy XD. The insanity of mixing attacks was so fun to survive them somehow.
I did get once at the end of stage 2, I was excited to see the end of the game but I couldn't get there anymore :C.
Want to see the developers' gameplay<3
You got to phase 2?!
I got once, but then there was a lot of ! and blow me up XD. It was so sad!
So I never get there again...
You might be the only person to get to phase 2. How did you do that? Also if you are looking for developer footage, we can survive at best 30-40 seconds :D
I want proof that u can survive 10 seconds nitro cause i can only last like 5 llmao
At least he died instantly doing what he loved: dancing in a storm of bullets :P
Fun environment and designs, but overwhelming DIFFICULTY made it hard to experience much of the game! I wish I had more than 1 health or something so I could kinda get in a groove before having to reset. The mechanics were interesting, mixing the WASD + dash towards mouse clicks.
Well done and fun to play, but not very n00b friendly cus it ramps up realllyyy fast!!
The game itself looks great and plays smooth. The biggest drawback is the sheer difficulty. Only one life, all projectiles are fast and the dance floor makes it hard to see projectiles (maybe give them thick black outlines to make them stand out).
I'd also recommend giving a few seconds before the fire trail becomes harmful, kept dying just by dashing and not being able to get off my own trail quick enough.
Definitely making the trail go from 0,5 secs to 1 later

The visuals are great, the music also was though it did lack any audio outside of the music which just constantly kept playing even after death. The dash mechanic was a bit confusing at first
The pixel art is definitely your strong suit, all of your designs are super fun and you really have a talent for choosing pallets.
I just chose random colors lol
I don't think I'm going to beat it, which is perfectly fine, but I love it.
The game is super engaging with a great pacing and rythm. It looks great, I love the boss design. It could benefit from some sound effects but the music is super catchy and it's super fun to play. It controls well with the right speeds and good feels. I like that everything about it is brutal, only one life (there's no checkpoint between phases, right? I don't think I've ever reached the second one so I wouldn't know), I can't make good use of the shield while dashing is strong but the trail kills us (I love the dash trail killing you, it's hilarious). What I've played of it is hard but fair, not sure about the next parts as I only saw them when ded but could not try to deal with them.
That's a very cool entry, thanks for sharing.
Hello! 👋
Overall: ✨ Love the dance concept! The game had great music for the setting and was an interesting experience overall.
Fun: 🎉 The game felt a bit too difficult for an average player, which made it a bit frustrating. However, I loved how the rockets had indicators for where they were going to strike, making it easier to dodge.
Visual: 🎨 The visuals were okay for the setting and complemented the dance theme well.
Audio: 🎶 The music was great and fit perfectly with the game's setting.
Theme: 📚 I didn't see or understand the theme of "consequences" being utilized. It might help to clarify this aspect in the game.
Other feedback: A more gradual difficulty increase would benefit the game. I wasn't able to figure out how the freeze mechanic works, which could be a user error, but a clearer tutorial might help.
Great job on the game! 👏
The main consequence is, that every time you dash, you leave a trail of death behind.
There are other consequences, but they are not in the game due to the time limit, like the boss doing all-out attacks every second phase, which result in his body parts being destroyed.
We only have one in the game and it doesn't even destroy his body grrr
Try holding f2 for the animation tho
Oh i see! that is cool. The biggest feedback I can say is just toning down the difficulty. I found it's not worth making the game super hard if it doesn't give opportunity for an average player to play and enjoy most of the content. Regardless though, great job on completing as much as you guys were able to with your team!
Jesus the difficulty, getting the grasp of it slowly, you do need to make good use of the dash and freeze, but I end up drying roughly 25 seconds in, slowly getting better. Saw the other phases since I let the game run its course and GOOD LORD IN HEAVEN, NAHH, I AM NOT THAT GOOD. Great vibe and cute visuals.
Phase 3 is definetly made to be unbeatable, especially since we didn't add anything after, but if you get there, I count that as a win
Definitely way too hard, but I love the art and music. I'm thankful that the music doesn't reset when you retry because it means I could actually listen to it properly lol
It took me a bit to figure out what freeze did, but I love the idea of making your movement options be punishing later. Its a cute art style and nice music. My biggest issue is I'm not nearly good enough to play this game. maybe having more than one life would help a bit? Nice job though
I might fix the bug where the boss is being spawned twice and pretend that that's the easy mode
Cool visuals and Music, but yeah it is unfortunately a bit too hard out of the gate, I think the problem is the enemies speed right at the start is too high, feels like I'm starting from later on. But it is a nice game, I feel some minor adjustments would make it great.
As some of the comments have said, the game is really difficult. I tried for some time, but never even got to phase 2 (don't even know what phase 2 looks like). And I never used dash at all because of how limiting it felt.
Something that might help is making the hitboxes a bit more forgiving, to make the game feel more "fair" for the player. For example, I noticed that the propellers on the circle enemies actually kill you when touched. It also sucks a bit when a bullet just grazes the black outline on the slime then it kills you, not exactly what you'd expect. Or otherwise you can be a bit clearer on the hitboxes, one way is color-coding them, or even to have a hotkey you can hold to see the exact hitbox on the slime.
That's just my opinion though. Overall it was a great game, love the aesthetic and music.
We definetly made the hitboxes too big, a bad decision we made very late into the production. I already am working on a post-jam patch with pretty much all hitboxes reduced by almost 2 times. And I should have definetly checked up on the hitboxes my partner made on that drone, that one is actually evil af
Neat idea to color code the hitboxes, this is a thing I never knew about the bullet hell genre until the jam, but now I could try implementing it
The music... I love that soundtrack! The art style is fun as well and reminds me of Binding of Isaac.
Despite I am being bad at the game, I had fun :)
Our artist definitely had some inspiration from games like nuclear throne/isaac/enter the gungeon
Hope we can bring back some memories from "I want to become back my money isaac"
Thank you :3 (im the art person guy person)
Groovy game! Agree with the difficulty but I'm not one to speak
Thank you for the Game! I died a LOT!! The beats where sick, struggled a bit with reading everthing. Awesome submission!
Damnnn this beats in the game :D Really like this one, it's challenging and fun!
We are aiming to win the best music award for sure!
Good gam bwo
