Probably my most favourite game so far, I had so much fun playing it! I actually got soft locked in a fight though (I'll share the screenshot. My armour was growing too fast and I couldn't out hit his heal lol) so maybe a way to forfeit the fight would be handy, as I had to restart. Thankfully you were smart and allowed for the speed to be adjusted lol (as i was happy to play again tbh and try a different build).

The art is amazing also, honestly all 5s for this game :D


Really cool game and love the art style. The audio is really well done too, I love the heartbeat getting louder as you get closer to a heart. I will say it's a little too punishing, I somehow lost my weapons as I was fighting which meant I then couldn't do anything but let myself die (unless I missed something). Really creative idea though, nice game :)

The artwork is absolutely amazing, and the concept is so cool. Really nice game. I dunno if I was doing something wrong but I really struggled to get the bus to move off after each stop. Other than that it's a really cool game :)

Wow the amount of polish you added to this game, with the animations, level transitions etc. It's really impressive! I had so much fun playing this. And that spin out at the end made it worth all that effort I put in. Really good game, honestly! :)

I love the art style in this game, so damn cool! The mechanic of teleporting back to your "clone" with each loop is a very nice touch, you could create some awesome puzzles with that :D I would have loved to be able to skip the dialog with each loop, as once I saw all the options it became a little annoying, but not so much that it affected my playthrough. Really nice game man, good job :)

This is probably the most creative game I've seen in this jam so far! It's so good! The art is amazing, and it's such an interesting take on the theme. I would have loved to have some more sound effects for completing levels, or when rope connects etc, just to make it come alive more. But wow, honestly great game :)

Wow what beautiful art! I really love the light too, the shadow cause by the lights are so cool. You nailed the feel of the character too, the movement is really nice. Good job!

Exactly. I’m always really interested to see how people interpret the theme. I haven’t 100% decided if I’ll join this jam or not, just wrapped up with the GMTK one.

If the theme becomes "meeting point", then you can interpret that theme in any way you want. Whether it's used for the mechanics, story, aesthetics or whatever. It's up to you :) At least that's how game jams usually work.

Thank you so much for your kind words. I’m really glad you enjoyed it so much :) I spent a lot of time in the beginning tweaking the movement and making it feel solid, maybe too much lol

Ah, I can already guess why that bonfire bug happened… I’ll probably patch that and the spike hitboxes after the voting finishes.

I rushed adding the spikes at the end and in hindsight messaged up with the hitbox. But oh well lol

CHUCHUROCKET!! I grew up playing that game on the dreamcast! This is very well made, I'm really impressed. The visuals are really nice, and the music fits really well. The mechanics you've added that are different from chuchu are really nice. I would have loved a way to speed things up like in chuchu rocket, especially when doing trial and error. Also, there didn't seem to be a limit to the arrows? Or maybe that was just a design choice. In any case, very nice game :)

I have never played Chain of Memories as the previous comment mentioned, but i love this mechanic of looping cards and the leftmost card is your attack. Really interesting mechanic, never seen that before myself. You should explore that idea more :) Anyway, the art is lovely and the controls feel nice. I didn't quite get one of the attacks, but yea, I enjoyed it. Good work :)

Of course I am gonna say the artwork is amazing, honestly it's beautiful. Strong Celeste vibes. The menu transition to the game, the screen transitions etc. lots of really got polish in this game. The Movement felt a little slow and clunky for my liking, but still pretty fun. I love how you're pretty looping over the same level, but it keeps changing in some way and adding new mechanics. Very well designed :)

Really lovely art, and I love the narrative. The little mini games are pretty cool, especially the dish washing one lol The movement felt a little slow and clunky to me, but other than that I quite enjoyed it. I died the first time and when playing again I saw a big x on the first door I clicked on. Though it was gonna change with each loop but I guess it was warning me of the fake door lol Anyway, nice game :)

Really coo mechanic of using your clone, I really enjoyed that! The art style was pretty nice too. Some background music would have helped me feel more engaged I think, but overall really nice game :)

Very creative, I love the art style and the music, it all fits together so well. Good use of theme also, very well done. I would have enjoyed it more however if there was some sort of player feedback, because I never knew if I hit them at the right time or not, especially being that there was no ending points screen. In any case, great game :)

Wow this is so cool! I love the mechanic of resetting your turns when spinning the enemy wheel. Also the enemy variety and stuff is very impressive considering the short time we had to make our games. The only real criticism that kind of bothered me was that I often got a little confused which character was which health bar. I got used to it after a while, and I know the enlarge, but it didn't register enough for me. Maybe you could have colour coded those also to match, and also put the active one on top (and any characters stunned or already went to the bottom and greyed out), it's a minor thing, but i think it would help to clarify quickly which character is which, especially since the last person to go takes damage (also which is so cool)! Very good entry, nice work :)

I can't deny, that drift feels so good to use haha! This is really fun, I love the dirt and grass mechanics, feels really satisfying to try and stay on the dirt as much as possible. The boost is really cool too!

I love the main menu, the way the menu buttons are part of the dirt track, it's all thematically really cool. Nice work :)

This is cool game, you chose some really interesting mechanics and I love how the levels expand on those concepts (like stopping you from making sprouts in a later level). I glad you added the reset button, definitely much needed. I would have appreciated if the clock timer was a little shorter since I had to use it so often, but it's such a cool animation I'll let it slide haha! Nice work :)

This is so cool, shame i can't multitask haha! The platforming game of spinning the phone is already an amazing enough concept on it's on. Throw in scanning item and this is awesome, very creative!! The spinning of items was a little fiddly at times though, other than that a great game!

This is such a cool concept, very good use of the theme. The aesthetics are pretty cool and the music matches it really well. My only gripe is that the turning is a little too strict and caused me to rear into a wall one too many times. Still, very fun game. Would be awesome if you expanded on this with some Mario Kart style powerups :)

Haha sorry... the wall jump and spikes were added a little too last minute so I didn't have enough time to really tweak them in the same level of detail I did with the other stuff.

Man this is so cool! What an awesome concept and really fun game! The animations for changing levels is so clever too!

The theme and art is pretty top notch! And really cool concept with the clock and the clones replaying what you did. I was a little lost with what to do though. Overall really cool though :)

I was not expecting that frog haha! Really cool game, i wasn't sure where the loop aspect came into play until i died on the fish level which made me sad :( lol Interesting and very creative game. Good job!

This is fun game! I love the idea of changing gravity! Such a cool idea :) Am I right that the obstacles are random?  I wish there were more flags and more reasons to switch the gravity as it's such a cool mechanic, but I guess that's too be expected from such a small time frame. Before I go, just wanna say i love the animation of the character, so cute lol

Really nice game man! I really enjoyed it, and I got a bit too into trying to complete it haha! I love the art style with the changing of seasons and what not :) nice work!

All 5 stars! This is such a creative use of the theme, and so fun to play!! Once I got the hang of it I caught so many haha! Look at my army! lol

My only criticism would be that it abruptly ends when the timer runs out, rather than showing me my score or how many I caught, would have been nice to see. Maybe a time constraint though.

Man I LOVE the artwork in this game!! Looks so cool, and I love how everything is on theme. Really great stuff!! Runs really smoothly too.

I wish I could have enjoyed it more though, as I was really sure how to play. Perhaps you could add a description on the game page and I'll give it another go? I figured out how to jump and dash which is cool, but i couldn't figure out how to retrieve my weapons, so I ended just running around lost.

Still, really impressed with the artwork! I'm kind of inspired to make something like this one day :D

I love the character you made, he's pretty cute!! lol This was fun, i like the mechanic of keeping your progress and then looping back. The timer seemed a little buggy at times, and shame there was no music/sounds. But a really nice game man :)

This game is pretty cool! I love the progression that you made, looping back to the main room and able to reach new areas after unlocking new skills. 

Controls felt really nice to play, and I loved the animations of the guns reloading! My only gripe would be that there wasn't much feedback when shooting enemies, so it was hard to tell if I was landing shots or not until they died.
