Fun game, loved the RNG aspect of it, felt pretty balanced with the positives and negatives. Short but sweet, impressed you even got a boss in there. Character controlled alright, but a bit too fast for my liking. Also seems like you didn't set a max speed, so walking diagonally would have the character move way faster. Really liked it though!

I liked the feedback of the shake it didn't bother me, but I can understand how that could be annoying. I really liked the different enemies and very especially that they actually had different attack patterns! I do think that the game stands on a tight line of fitting the theme and not fitting the theme. I feel like this one does though. Though it might fit better with an old theme of Out of Control (iirc).

Nice game, movement and shooting are fast and satisfying! I like all the visual effeect except for the screenshake when you shoot. Becouse I never stop shooting the scene is constantly trembling and is a little annoying in my opinion. Overall it was fun to play, I really liked the boss battle at the end!

Fun game, though I wish the buffs lasted longer, or at least the timer didn't tick down between waves/floors. Well put together :)

Really fun game. It feels fun and response to move around and shoot. Like being hit felt like my fault and not the game. Really fun use of multiple RNGs to determine several things. It would be cool if there were some kind of sprite associated with buffs/debuffs like a bomb for bomb shot kinda things (totally understand that this woulda been real hard in 48 hours)

Nice game. It was a really fun shoot 'em up. For the most part the effects felt great to use, but the debuffs weren't as fun for obvious reasons.

To improve, I would say the screen shake needs to be reduced by quite a lot and also maybe slow down the gameplay a bit. There were constantly random effects happening that I didn't have enough time to fully comprehend.

Other than those, this was a great game!

I would love to have a setting to reduce screen shaking a little :D
But yet, random buffs fits good in the theme, so good job! Weapons and controls feels good too!
Also, I found the angle of guns a little weird because they point in the wrong direction (or maybe I misunderstood it, but anyway). Still a good one!

This was fun, the boss was neat too! I liked the screenshake and the speed of the player, it helped the pace feel quick and energetic.

I really liked the game! The choice of length of the game was a good choice indeed! The game seemed a bit easy and I wish there was more difficulty!  The soundtrack did its job in the game! The screen shake could be toned down!

Great game!

BEST OF LUCK:)

Really enjoyed the game! Was just the right length and a lot of fun to play. The game feel was very good, though I think the screenshake could have been toned down a bit. I might have also liked to see the difficulty increased, as I barely got hit while beating the game. The music was also very good, really added to the game.

Very nice work :)

Wow man. You landed on a REALLY good feel here. Between the fast pace the character moves, and the music which I really dig, and the screen shake, and the hilarious choices for what the enemies are, this is just balls-out fun to play. Great work! !

Really satisfying little bullet hell. I do find it a bit concerning that I completed the entire thing damageless on my first attempt but everything was very juicy so I'll excuse it.

thanks for the feedback! we didnt have much time for balancing the difficulty

The Feel, the art the fire rate. This was a fun feeling game with good feedback. It was easier than I first expected and the random events didnt change how I played much but it was fun and I kept playing for a while. Would love to see some juicy juicy when things die. The different enemy types were awesome adding good variety. Overall a solid entry in the Jam. Good Job.

Developer

unfortunately we did not have enough time for juicy juicy when things died, but thank you for the feedback!

Music and art were great, and I generally loved the style. I felt like some of the buffs didn't last long enough to noticeably effect my playstyle, and I would have personally enjoyed them stacking more. Other then that, the movement and shooting feel great and well tuned, good job!

Interesting elevator theme. The enemy types are wacky, friends and I particularly liked the knife swinging lamp. The general gameplay is there, though I wish its a bit more intense since now you could kinda runaway from everything. I liked that shooting the enemies fill the random bar, feels like a organic way to introduce random events. The upgrade before the boss was also a nice oomph moment, though it does make you a bit overpowered against the boss.

The games pretty nice! The speed is way too quick though, you run so fast to the point whereyou cant aim at the enemies properly when trying to run and gun. A much better way to give the player more mobility would be having a dash ability where they move a short distance really quickly when hitting a button. The screenshake also felt a bit nauseating due to how much it was being triggered with the quick fire rate + in the elevator.

The music is so good, I was banging my head the whole time haha. I like the sprites, although I believe the ones for the enemies should be bigger to make them easier to read. The floors could have different layouts to make them more interesting. The boss could be harder, he only has one attack that's really easy to dodge. Killing the enemies felt really satisfying.

The music is so good in this. Was dancing in my chair for half of this one. Game was very fun to play, it's pretty easy so just had a chill time with it. I did find that the shaking on the elevator was quite hard to look at, would suggest toning that down a decent bit. The transition to the lobby at the end of a wave was also quite jarring. The bosses blue projectile attack is a bit too close in colour to the floor so it's not always the easiest to spot.

Overall I really liked this one.

thanks for the feedback!

Good art, and idea, but maybe you should be able to get random effects more often, every 25 enemies feels a little bit to low :)

thanks!

One of the most fun games I've played so far! It took a while for me to get some interesting effects, but the later levels were really rewarding.

I'm on camera trying your game here if you'd like to see, a timestamp link is in the description!

Thanks so much!
