I didn’t expect to get so hooked! I like the fact that you can memorize the pattern and, transform the challenge into some kind of rhythm game 😁
Solid submission!
Thank you so much! We're glad the game was fun for you. It's honestly all we wanted!
I liked the fast paced levels in this one.. maybe memorizing the dice faces order is kind of hard but it's cool.
An interesting choice of controls, after a bit of playing I got used to it but can definitely see a lot of people turning away from them. The visuals are nice and so overall good game!
At first I thought the control were a bit finnicky, but after playing for a bit I really got the hang of it and was enjoying myself quite a bit. Nice and unique take on the theme, I haven't seen a control scheme like this before. Had a lot of fun with this, good job!
Although it seems simple on the surface, this game is actually ingenious and very unique. awesome work!
Pretty cool idea of making the number on the die the one you move to, but the controls (I assume intentionally) are a bit inconvenient to learn. This seems like a good game for speedrunning, so maybe find some way to encourage that?
Easy to pick up and understand, but really nice introduction to new mechanics each level. I really really wish I could have used the NumPad instead to control the die. Great job though!
I really liked the concept and mechanics! The art is pretty cool, too. The controls were a bit confusing at first, but it's something you can get used to over time. The numbers on the numpad should also be detected as input. Other than that, good job!
Heads up: Bitdefender blocked this one as a virus for me when I tried to download it. Guessing from other people it might be a false positive?
If it's a Windows build you can go into edit game and set the file to windows to let people play it in the Itch App which has a sandbox and should get around false positive problems!
Strange, you're the first to mention that, I pinky promise it's not a virus.
Also set the file to Windows if you want to give it a try.
Played it now I can run it in the Itch app. Fun game! Very neat puzzle. The real time obstacles vs the dice moving on a grid system makes a fun challenge. Finding the 4 number combination to go fast keeps you on your toes. Great job!
The movement was tricky in a good way - I'm glad I was told about the bug on the breaking bridge on the last level, it helped me avoid it and actually finish the title!
Took me a damn long time, but I always felt like I was at fault and not the game, so there was a sense of pride in wanting to finish it despite my many, many deaths. Good thing the death VFX were nice :)
thanks! Im really glad with how those animations came out!
Very interesting way of movement! It's very useful being able to know the entire string of numbers you need to move in a given direction just by looking at the available faces. For some reason I kept randomly dying on the cracked bridge on the final level though, unfortunately I will never be able to see the end :(
Hey Frexxy, thanks for the heads up! Turns out there's a spike trap there that's hidden under the crumbling tile sprite... Guess we got lucky with our timing when we tested it, cause nobody noticed :')
I've updated the description with instructions on how to avoid it - thanks again!
Very nice game! The movement system was very interesting, really good planning ahead to make it based on patterns instead of truly random!!!
The music and sfx fit the game really well, im wondering if there was a composer/sound designer, it would be interesting to see some dynamic music in play or more immersive sound scapes
really nice work overall!!!!
Thanks for the feedback and the nice message !
We were one composer and one sound designer (me) for this jam. To be honest, we didn't ever talk about dynamic music during the dev. We wanted to keep the scope small so that we can deliver a game that is as fun and polished as possible, but it is definitely an interesting path for improvement for this game.
Have a nice day !!

Creative idea, movement was frustrating at times, but I understand that's the point of this game. I also got stuck on level 7. The presentation was really cohesive for a 48 hour game. Nice job!
Hey Kirbeast, thanks for playing!
How exactly did you get stuck? Did you realize you needed to land on the pressure plate with the amount of pips on top of the dice that was displayed on the pressure plate?
I've heard from multiple people that they're getting stuck there, but I can't seem to recreate the issue myself!
This one was very tricky to control and original,I liked it.It is also super clean and polished for a game made in only two days.I got stuck on level 7 because the door wouldn't open when pressing the switch below.I would also just suggest that you allow players to use the numbers on the right of the keyboard instead of the ones on top,my hands started to hurt a after a bit because of the inconfortable position.I still liked it a lot overall, god job!
Thank you for the kind words, Nathan! I'll take a look at level 7 for you.
