this feels incredibly polished! love the way you integrated a casino in a jrpg setting. and also just really on theme.

definitely feeling all of the crypt of the necrodancer vibes from this.  and loving all of the aesthetics as well as a good theme interpretation . I think my only gripe is that it feels like im dealing with tank controls when moving my character.

the pixel art in this is amazing! I do wish there was a speed up function in regards to getting more cards and stuff.

awesome game and use of palette! i especially love the tile set! I feel like my only complaint is that I wish I could have like a run or dash button when going around fixing things. I would say i would have wanted the pick up able items to be named when you are around them or are holding them. but I can see that the context clues and dialog from Lucky already did a great job in that regard.

saw the monster sprites in the progress part of the discord. knew it was gonna be a fun game. even got the the intro cutscence accurate. Amazing game!

pretty awesome rougelike. and even more awesome take on the theme. there was a point where if i didnt get the tax debuff, i would have continued to speed through.

the palette and graphics were crazy in the best way. I wish there was some sort of goal to strive towards tho.

awesome concept ! I can see a ton of speedrun type things be done with this. gb vibes and aesthetic were on point!

awesome side scrolling shooter. my favorite part tho was how the song changed and evolved as you progressed through the game. pretty fun overall.

awesome tetris clone. very in tune with the gb vibes!

loving the bad luck as ammo concept . quick and fun experience !

honestly pretty awesome for a first jam and in 5 hours.

thanks for the feedback! Our programmer/writer will definitely appreciate the love for the dialog

not really a big fan of the aiming mechanic. but loved the whole aesthetic of things

it took me a while to get the grasp of it, and while I have not won yet, it was a very nice brain teaser that I happily put some time in.

took me 18 rolls! the jrpg confusion be so real tho !

graphics and music are great! felt like there was a difficult yet fair learning curve on what I was suppose to do

You got the gb aesthetic down so well! and awesome use of the secondary theme. I think my only issue is that some of the jinxes might have a need for an epilepsy warning. Other wise there is so much replayability here!

awesome music and use of the theme. while it did feel a bit difficult at times (especially with how often you get tnt) I felt like I got a good gist of what you were going for.

Saw the description of what games you based this off of so it was an instant play for me. theme was interpreted quite well . I had a ton of fun playing and honestly wished it went on a bit longer.

sorry you had to deal with that. We definitely miss some more softlocks before the deadline even with it being playable from beginning to end . I honestly recommend taking advantage of the save menu located in the settings tab of the pause menu.

Appreciate all the input and feedback

thanks for the input! We actually have a slider for sfx volume in the settings of the pause menu.  Appreciate all the feedback!

much appreciated.  Not gonna lie. Even with the 10 days we thought the scope was to crazy.

I respect that. Even when I was playtesting it took me awhile to get use to things. Appreciate the feedback!

Feels like there is a ton of replayability here, i just wish you can start off with atleast another bat

awesome rpg. and a great use of the palette. loving the details on the in battle sprites. felt like the monsters were channeling their inner zubat energy with the encounter rate.

awesome art! would have loved to have seen this fleshed out more

Saw this in the discord progress , was so awesome seeing the process. everything was just perfect all around.

platformer with random ability loss is pretty great! feel like every play through will be different and challenging in its own way.

loving the world and the pixel art, really would enjoy seeing more of all the lore and backstory

awesome dungeon crawler and an even awesomer battle system.

im loving all the sprite work in this. did so well with the palette and screen size limitations .

got to say, so far this felt the most the accurate aesthetically as a gameboy game, even down to the animations and feel of movement when moving the basket.

amazing top down zelda like. the whole aesthetic, music and graphics just screamed gameboy.

after seeing this in the progress channel, i definitely had to make sure to play it. cant believe all this is possible on gb software. high marks all around. cute graphics, interesting use of the theme, a good ton of replayability

While i acknowledge my skill with difficult platformers is pretty low. I got to respect how well things were implemented. The movement tech is precise, the hazards go well with the theme , and the pixel art and music were pretty fun to behold.

I can see this being highly replayable in speed runner circles

nice quick platformer, wish there was more of the secondary theme implemented tho.

very amazing pixel art and interesting concept

love that this reminds me of the Underground mine from the pokemon diamond and pearl games! pixel art was crisp and easy to read. I already saw that you plan to add a "hold to dig " option in a future build.

Feels like something I would download and enjoy in the google play/ios store. can't wait to see future builds !

works well for the theme and pretty easy to pick up and play, i think the only thing i have an issue with is that it is hard to tell when and where a present stealer is, and then i end up in situations where i am chasing one but an offscreen present is to far gone for me to get to it.
