no wonder this game is the winner, it’s incredible on so many points!!

I’m not fond of deck buildings in general, but with the caps it’s something more interesting somehow

This is also one of the most best rendition of the second theme - and missing shot can be an actual winning strategy!!

excellent work !!!

congrats  for the win !!
I just played the game to the sunset ending and it was really good !

The game is a lot of fun, and I love that there are so many different patterns — awesome!

I'm gonna replay this in endless mode for a while, it's addicting!

I think you only lack a good story to have, like, a hit? xD Gameplay / Graphics / Music, everything is on point!! Add a good story on top of that, and you genuinely would have a hell of an adventure game xD

But yeah, this is a kind of jam games that you could see get expended upon so easily!

I hope you had as much fun making it than everyone had playing it!
Genuinely thank you for the western vibe, it's appreciated, partner! Yee-haw to you :D

That was a very very fun game, well done!

I came in with fairly high expectations, and they were thoroughly surpassed! This is my favorite of your GBJAM entries so far; an exceedingly stylish, charming, and authentic retro experience that also manages to nail the theme in both thematic and mechanical substance. A wonderful variety of strategies, with enough pure luck to keep players on edge. Targette is a particularly cute design!

This is a very minor nitpick, but after having played so many entries which do a great job materializing odds and rolls to the player, it was a bit jarring not being able to see the RNG behind shots, especially 80%++ shots. Even a little "93 / 95%" popup would've done a lot to alleviate the reflexive, primal, subconscious confusion of missing high percent chances.

Absolutely fantastic! Congratulations!

Loved it! And I like how a similar idea 6 random bullet in a revolver can create 2 different games. Great game!

What a great game! I really liked the concept, and considering the limited time they had to develop it, everything is very well balanced. The art and sound are fantastic. Congratulations!

Great art, audio, design, game flow, balance, and so much more!

There isn't really much to critique so I'll just say that it would "be cool if" there were caps that allowed players to have an effect on the enemy attacks. Things like decreasing their chance to hit or the damage they dealt to allow for builds that debuff in addition to the buffing synergies that you already have in the game.

Excellent entry and excellent work!

defeated the gang with 1 health left. got a bit tense there!

really liked the mechanic of choosing the bullet in the chamber, and that the enemies gradually fill it with their own stuff. I also really liked cactus man. nice work!

Amazing game. Visual and audio reminded me of the quick draw mini game from Kirby, but gameplay-wise, it felt very unique.

All the character designs are super pretty and the deckbuilder very well balanced for a jam game! I think i'm missing how missing is rewarded? Is it that you get a new set op caps?

Amazing game tho, would have loved to have this on my GB as a kid!

Thanks for playing! If you're unlucky a lot and fill up that meter on the top right, on your next turn all your shots become 100% accurate.

It's so pretty and charming, always down for a deck builder. Absolutely would've loved knowing about the damage reduction earlier but that's on me.

I'd like there to be a bit more control over the bag though, it's not really building a deck if you can't remove things from it.

The graphics and audio are standouts for me here. You managed to get that GB feel that I crave. I think you should be really proud of the work here, because it's excellent. Great job!

Excellent work overall :D

I beat the last duel with 3 health to spare lucky. Excellent presentation, fun gameplay loop. Only downside is I can't get this on my gameboy right now. You made a polished experience in such a short amount of time. Very excellent submission. Great work on the game

Overall a very fun time and I love the presentation. I didn’t end up thinking too much about my deck, but the different caps were still enjoyable to think about and use.

My personal favorite game of GBJam 13

I had a great time playing through your game—extremely solid execution on all fronts. The artwork and audio are so, so, so perfect. Thanks for making and sharing your game!

Cool concept, great take on a deckbuilder. The art and music are great. It feels like a gameboy game and does a great job incorporating unluckiness. Well done!
