Very nice atmosphere. The puzzles are fun and don’t feel too repetitive.

This is a very nice entry overall!

Very simple yet enjoyable game!

One tip I can give you (that I forgot to follow myself for this jam) would be to always make sure the game is “easily” finishable for testers, that way they can see all that you have to offer.

Still, good entry :)

Very good looking game!

There were some issues with text not fitting completely within the screen, so I couldn’t see what some of the messages were, but other than that it was a fun game!

I have not played the original game, so I went to see some screenshots, and I’d say you got the look right!

The gameplay is interesting, though I’ll admit I did not understand the more advanced-seeming rules as explained in the game’s description.

Still, the vibe is very nice, both in terms of music and graphics.

Good job overall!

Thanks for playing and for the thoughts :)

This is actually a good idea! I also wanted to add some kind of “muted” effect to the sound when hearing it through the wall, but I sadly ran out of time…

I enjoyed every minute of this, really well done!

This is an interesting twist on the sokoban formula, I had a lot of fun with it! The art and music are great as well. Overall a very good game, no notes!

I would have liked an in-game tutorial for the duel rules. It was fun to figure out tactics once I understood what was happening though!

The game has cozy vibes, and interesting gameplay. Well done!

Oh no way, I had not realized you also made the cute axolotl game from last year! The graphics were quite memorable as well, I’ll be sure to check it out again!

It’s a wonder how many ice cream stalls there are in an area with so little foot traffic.

Jokes aside, this was a fun little game, I would have loved to see more!

Cool little sandbox game! I could see a Tiny Glade-like game being made with this kind of presentation, maybe even a demake.

Interesting game! The characters have a lot of personality, which is impressive at this resolution. The rewind feature was great as well, and a lifesaver in many situations haha

My nitpick would be that the platforming was a bit stiff, and I encountered a few collision bugs.

Still, this is a nice entry, well done!

Interesting concept!

Aw, okay, gonna have to squash that bug once the jam ends…

Very nice effect, love your take on this theme.

Had some framedrop when I got too many Reflect powerups consecutively, but otherwise it was very fun!

That was fun! As others have said it becomes a bit repetitive, but the combat system was fun enough to keep me engaged.

I could see this being improved with different upgrades, attacks and such.

Great entry overall!

Beautiful game, very nice music and sfx, my only nitpick would be that I would have liked to be a bit more zoomed out. Other than that, this is a very solid entry, well done!

Thanks for playing! You know what, that is a great idea actually, wish I had thought of it during development haha

Is it still too difficult even with the flash enabled?

I always love a good boss-rush game, though this one did put me back in my place haha Presentation is pristine and the controls are great, especially the running on wall felt very smooth. Great entry!

Very fun concept, and the art, music and gameplay were all very nice. Overall a great entry!

Really cool concept, and really really good execution! I’m not much for racing games, but I actually had a lot of fun with this, even playing in manual mode.

Thanks for playing! I played around with the attenuation parameter of audio nodes in Godot, but it was quite difficult to find a good middle ground between inaudible and way too loud haha

That was very fun! I am insanely bad at rythm games, but I still had a good time playing this :) Honestly no notes, fun music, fun graphics, good use of the screen size. Very well done!

Very atmospheric game, I loved playing through it!

The sound effects and music are really great.

Got stuck as well with the heart, couldn’t trade it with the snake/growing seed creature. The game has cute visuals and an interesting bartering mechanic, though I would have liked to see more variety in using the objects, like it is done with the key.

Maybe a pair of scissors to cut a bush and a path, a log to ford the river, things like that.

Still, good job for this once-again bee-themed game!

The gameplay is a bit simplistic, but I can’t help but admire the UI/UX! By that I mean the return to game after failing, being simply the rider going back to the “starting line”. It’s clever and minimalistic in a good way :) Nice sound effects as well. Well done!

I saw your game and thought, “Oh, I remember there being another bee-themed game last year, funny coincidence!”. Turns out, it was you as well haha

Bee or Below is cute and relaxing, if a little simplistic gameplay-wise. Still, I enjoyed it! :)

Saw your game in the discord and I have to say, it is very nice! Love the pulse effect, visually. We picked the same theme so its fun to see how similar yet different our games are :)

That was a fun little game! I would have loved more enemy variety, so that picking party members would feel more tactical. Still this is a nice entry :)

Hey thanks, that means a lot! I actually have an half-finished 3D “remake” of this game laying around, and you’ve just motivated me to dust it off :)

Cool art and music, I only wish the game were a bit longer!

Scratched the part of my brain that likes seeing numbers go up :)

Too bad there is no audio, I feel that a few SFX would have gone a long way.

Still, overall it is a good entry, great job!

That was a fun game!

I ended up out of ammo against the mindflayer at the very end, so spending a few turns praying against him was weirdly a pretty funny situation.

My only nitpick would be that I would have liked to see the currently-faced direction on the map, but that was just a QoL issue, so not too problematic.

Good job overall :)

That was a fun little game, clean gameplay, nice art and music … well done :)

Absolutely love the graphics, the music and the overall mood of the game.

The gameplay was nice, though I would have liked some kind of mini-game while fishing, to keep things fresh.

Still, this was a very enjoyable game, well done!

That was a very very fun game, well done!

Very clever interpretation of the theme. It was a fun game. Well done!

That was a fun game, just the right length for a jam game. Nice graphics and music, very GameBoy-reminiscent. Good job :)

Very nice entry! Ironically, I think I got really lucky on my first run because I found all four items really quickly haha

Something that might ensure the game has longer duration would be to make it so you can only ever get one item per night, maybe?

Either way, the game looks pristine and very very GameBoy-like, so that is a win in my book :)

I love the vibe of this game, I would be so happy to see a completed version of it. The art is cute, the music is nice, and the concept feels fresh. I had actually been thinking of making an rpg with platformer combat a couple of weeks before this jam, so this was a nice surprise haha
