Adorable Little Guy that eats yellow crystals Love it

Reminiscent of Guitar Hero where you have to “strum” the guitar controller at the judgement line instead of playing it like osu mania

Thanks for trying out my game :D

Thanks for trying out my game :D

I wish the recipes are introduced gradually instead of being able to serve them all, but maybe it’s just me ahaha

Almost lost all my reputation on the first try, but managed to save the night by rushing to buy all the decoration

The game looks pretty, I like how the zombies & monsters all have variants including the expressions :D

It’s fun at the first 3 days, but got much harder on the 4th day and so on

I thought I could spawn Preppers and Snipers and be just fine, but those sprinters & armoured zombies got me ahaha

Just curious: are you planning to release this game on Play Store someday with these gacha mechanics?

Thanks for trying out my game :D

Sure, I do have some ideas that didn’t make it during the jam time, especially the money mechanic

Thanks for the input about decoration too :D

Too hard

All the 3 bosses have OP attacks & hit zones it’s really hard to evade & then land a hit due to how slow our main heroine is. Maybe telegraphing attacks & nerfing the bosses would work in the future update?

Sprinting feels like a normal walk, dashing makes it very easy for the 2nd boss to shoot especially with the sniper (it has a huge hit zone for some reason)

I like the concept of boss battles

Got to the [[ending]] 👀

Wish it doesn’t require fully perfect set of answers in order to finish, and it felt like a drag when not knowing how far I’ve been answering (the hard one obviously took the longest)

Not sure if I enjoyed the game either, wished I could spend more time with the zombie girl :D

Repeating what AxalKay said on bumping on invisible walls (?) whenever I tried to go max speed on a straight road (maybe 35+ MPH?)

It’s hard to reorient the truck at that point, since even though the paved roads don’t look that tall, it seems as if those are a wall which stops my truck from going over it

Other than that, when selecting the truck at start, it reminds me of Crazy Taxi

Maybe crashing on things add score? I think that’d be fun for a future update :D

“Castlevania: The Zombie Girl Side Story”

It’s fun for the first few levels, but since there’s no immunity time, it’s impossible for me to finish, especially when the ghost enemy always lands a hit on each frame

Wish the restart button restarts at the latest stage instead of going all the way back to stage 1

My best attempt:

Got both the good & bad endings :D

Thanks for trying out my game :D

I wanted to connect this with my zombie girl story from ZGGJ 1, but I don’t know how to do that yet

Thanks for trying out my game :D

Wish I had the motivation to continue this game ahaha

Thanks for trying out my game :D

I’ve been sick with high fever the past few days

But anyway, glad you enjoyed it :DD

Thanks for trying out my game :D

I can agree with the visibility issue, also I got the idea of the screen wipe effect from old games like DOOM because it’s cool ahaha

Thanks for trying out my game :D

I agree with the many levels in the same room.. I used the “spawn zone” technique to trigger the next level while removing objects that passed by ahah

Thanks for playing my game :D

Thanks for trying out my game :D

I can agree with the visibility issue ahaha

I’ve had a lot of fun making it :D

Thanks for trying out my game :D

I liked the idea of the screen “melting” from old DOS games (DOOM for example) for the screen transition

Thanks for trying out my game :D

Thanks for trying out my game :D

Thanks for playing my game :D

My friend recommended me that car, also the Kei truck for the background element ahaha

Thanks for trying out my game :D

Sorry about the strobing background, it was my first time learning about dithering

This game is hard to beat because of how there are so many traps spread all over the map ahaha

Love the overall aesthetics, definitely adding this to my favourites :D

This game reminds me of the Final Fantasy series, especially the older releases. The throne room brings me back to Final Fantasy 1 on NES ahaha

About the combat system, it’s interesting to see how it might combine platformer & hack n slash together

What I like the most is both the soundtrack & the character design in general

Finished the game in 20 minutes, C rank

What makes it less enjoyable is the movement (repeating from the other comments). Sometimes, when I’m facing the thing that I want to take or interact with, the game doesn’t register, i.e. when I wanted to open the door to where the Windex bottle is, I got stuck walking around for a few minutes ahaha

Other than that, I like the story & the final boss.. this game definitely has its moments :D

Love the overall aesthetics & soundtrack, and how you created the series of quicktime events like what Bishi Bashi has :D

One of the best games on GBJAM 13 🔥

It has the story, the soundtrack, and the graphics all well-executed

The first boss reminds me of the Tiktok video of “salt & honey anomaly” ahaha

This game has that Gameboy Classic aesthetics I love it

Excellent work overall :D

This game reminds me of Reventure

Wish there’s more dialogues to explore & see how the drama unfolds :D

It’s definitely a hard platformer with a few breathing rooms in between

The lightning spawns may be unfair, considering games like the MegaMan series or Castlevania

Making a platformer game is hard, but this is a good one :D

Work of art 🔥

The art style & writing remind me of the days when Road Rash was cool :D

Overall a nice game :D

I like the idea of the negative cards cancelling out the positive ones, it makes the line of cards very long. It’s satisfying seeing numbers go up with an even bigger multiplier the longer the line of cards is

I like the idea of the corporate building being a non-Euclidean space (the break room part), and the last few segments being so random is funny to me :D

I like playing city builder games, and this is a nice one :D

Played a few times, and this was my best run

Poor citizens losing homes due to the unfortunate circumstances ahaha

Thanks for trying out my game :D

Thanks for trying out my game :D

Sometimes that can happen ahaha

Sorry about the background, it was implemented early in the dev stage & I didn’t have time to revise

Also, I can agree with the jump height
