Thanks for trying out my little game :D

I’ll make sure I won’t miss the next one!

I managed to finish the first level, but failed on the second because I didn’t notice the acid block

It would be nice to have an option to restart the current level instead of restarting the whole game

The story and mechanics could also be introduced more gradually in-game, or maybe with a zoomed-in view – similar to how Dangerous Dave (DOS, 1988) handles its early levels

This gameplay mechanic is new to me, so it took me a few retries to get used to :D

Cute little game :D

I managed to get a score of 5 with Cat, I couldn’t quite figure out how to obtain gold at first, but after I played the slider game until the happiness bar was somewhat full, I started getting some.. I guess it happens by chance?

I wish there’s a save feature so that I can continue where I left off

Also, Z key seems to work as a keyboard shortcut to feed it :)

Cool ASCII art! :D

The concept is interesting, although I found it a bit challenging, so I had to sneak a peek at the dictionary a few times

Some easier or more common starter words could help ease the players in

It’s a fun game, kinda like Arkanoid from NES but with 2 paddles and no bricks to break

I noticed that sometimes the red ball gets stuck in one of the ghost’s eyes, making it look like it’s crying, pretty amusing :D

I managed to stop at least 80 bombs from the flying saucer, but once they started falling too fast, they just passed through the thin wall like neutrinos ahahah

I also realised that I could cheese the game by holding the left click, but then the saucer got mad & started spamming bombs faster than the speed of sound

Might be worth adding a bit of collision tolerance when things speed up :)

Thanks a lot, glad you enjoyed it :D

Sure, I’d love to see your version!

I’m planning to release the source code after the rating period ends, so that should make things easier

Just a heads up though, the project is around 5k lines and includes some extra systems that might be more than what you need, so you can simplify some of them depending on your approach

But the core loop is pretty straightforward; most of the complexity comes from the feedback systems

Thanks a lot, glad you enjoyed it :D

I do feel like there’s potential here, so I might continue working on it after the rating period ends

Crazy that this is possible with QBJS.. I’ve never seen a proper FPS pulled off in QB64PE before, massive props to you!

I tried rapid firing but ended up pulverising the crops, so that made me fail the game faster hahaha

The game gets pretty challenging because those sheep can’t stay still. As it progresses, it feels like they start moving faster and faster.. though maybe that’s just me ahah

Pretty fun experience overall :D

Simply a beautiful game :D

I’m not quite sure how to play this.. when I try to align 2 mirrors, it seems like the second mirror absorbs the whole ray, making it act as if it’s a wall

Maybe a tutorial or a short guide at the beginning would help clarify how it’s supposed to work?

Amy started strong, but Beth throws snowballs like a machine gun

Had a lot of fun even though the game is short :D

Cute game with a lot of content despite the time constraints of the jam

The matching game appearing 3 times in a row felt a bit repetitive to me, but it’s a pretty polished game overall :D

The overall presentation is beautiful. I can stay in the cafe as long as I want, to remind me to slow down, even though the blackboard tells me to hurry up

Cute game :D

Thank you for trying out my game, I’m glad you enjoyed it! :D

I’ll make sure to check out your game too

Thanks for trying out my game :D

That could definitely make the puzzles more intentional, I’ll keep that idea in mind for the future

Thanks for trying out my game :D

Yeah, I can agree that refining the gameplay loop is definitely something I’d like to explore further

I’m just glad that the core idea came through, it gives me a solid base to build on

Thanks for trying out my game :D

That’s definitely something I’d like to explore some time in the future, immersion can be tricky to get just right

Thank you :D

Thank you :D

Thanks for trying out my game :D

I can agree that those are a bit simple, mostly because of the time constraints

This game definitely has potential being a platformer shooter

But the enemies are too OP, I even lost the helicopter when trying to conquer the castle on the right side ahahah

Might help to slightly rebalance the difficulty especially early on

Could’ve been more satisfying with some sounds too

Not sure what I can do in the game because there’s not any kind of hints nor instructions

I got 5/5 snow but when I tried to click on the snowman or even pressing E, nothing happened, so I wasn’t sure how to progress

Maybe adding a small hint would help guide the player

I like seeing the playing field gets cleaned up from snow, maybe what’s lacking is something that tells me that “I’ve finished the cleanup and I win”, something like that just to make the completion feel more satisfying :)

It seems like the game is bugged on me

I couldn’t click anything on the title screen, not even pressing Spacebar or Enter could start the game

Totally fun with limitless booster :D

I love these types of games

The game definitely has some quirks.. like when falling, the animation gets stuck in falling, and also after my character died, I can’t block for some reason?

Definitely adding this to my favs :D

Nice little game :D

I can see the potential to be an incremental game with lots of upgrades

Thanks for trying out my game :D

I’m currently improving the engine so that it can be used better for future updates

Thanks for trying out my game :D I also like the idea of it, possibly making it a multiplayer game.. but that’s too big of a dream ahaha

Adorable Little Guy that eats yellow crystals Love it

Reminiscent of Guitar Hero where you have to “strum” the guitar controller at the judgement line instead of playing it like osu mania

Thanks for trying out my game :D

Thanks for trying out my game :D

I wish the recipes are introduced gradually instead of being able to serve them all, but maybe it’s just me ahaha

Almost lost all my reputation on the first try, but managed to save the night by rushing to buy all the decoration

The game looks pretty, I like how the zombies & monsters all have variants including the expressions :D

It’s fun at the first 3 days, but got much harder on the 4th day and so on

I thought I could spawn Preppers and Snipers and be just fine, but those sprinters & armoured zombies got me ahaha

Just curious: are you planning to release this game on Play Store someday with these gacha mechanics?

Thanks for trying out my game :D

Sure, I do have some ideas that didn’t make it during the jam time, especially the money mechanic

Thanks for the input about decoration too :D

Too hard

All the 3 bosses have OP attacks & hit zones it’s really hard to evade & then land a hit due to how slow our main heroine is. Maybe telegraphing attacks & nerfing the bosses would work in the future update?

Sprinting feels like a normal walk, dashing makes it very easy for the 2nd boss to shoot especially with the sniper (it has a huge hit zone for some reason)

I like the concept of boss battles
