That was precisely the idea, to create tension for the player. I'm glad it worked. Thank you so much for your comment!

Ooh, congratulations! Thanks for saving Jackie from bad luck for now. I'm so glad you enjoyed it and played it from beginning to end. You're a legend!

Thank you very much for your comments and suggestions. Thanks for pointing out that bug; I'm going to raise the height of the wall to prevent athletes like you from jumping over it xD. Thanks for playing the game; your feedback is very important and will help me improve it.

Thank you so much for your comment! Your words really made my day, and I'm so glad you played the game from beginning to end. You're a legend! It was a pleasure that you gave my game a try. Thank you again!

This game has really impressed me with all the details and animations it has. It's amazing to see how everything around you moves with the motion of the train, how difficult it is to walk on the roof due to the wind, and how the passengers duck when the cowboy with the gun walks by.  Not to mention the sense of life and atmosphere the train conveys, with all its intricate details and its passengers and crew. Truly an impressive piece of work, congratulations!

This is a very well-made game, with great graphics and good gameplay. I found it a bit difficult to dodge the lightning bolts at times; they would sometimes hit me before I had enough time to react. I really like the interface, especially how the character's expression changes depending on your luck. Great job!

I absolutely loved this game; the art style is fantastic and unique. It's a very original and different game. Congratulations!

A game with very unique gameplay, challenging but addictive, making you want to keep trying to beat the levels. The art style is excellent. Great job!

I really liked the background and its animation. At first, the character moved so slowly that it was very difficult to avoid the cats. It would have been nice to be able to move the character slightly left or right to dodge some cats or collect some clover, since sometimes when they reached your level, it was very hard to avoid two cats or pick up some clover because a flying cat would be in the way. I think that could be a good improvement. Even so, the game is very addictive and very well made. Congratulations!

The art style is very true to the original Game Boy, and the gameplay, while seemingly simple, is very addictive. Great job!

It's fantastic from an artistic perspective. I found it a bit difficult to understand some of the mini-games at first, given the time limit, but once I got the hang of them, everything was great. It's funny that you have to be unlucky to win, though! Well done!

Beautiful on an artistic and sonic level, congratulations!

This game is very addictive; I love how the dice bounces and the physics it simulates. I also thought it was great that, even when thrown from the same position, the dice doesn't always land in the same place; that's a really good feature. Great job!

Thank you so much! I'm glad it made you laugh!

Thank you very much! I'm glad you liked it!

Luck was on my side until I reached the last enemy. I had so much trouble rolling a 6! What bad luck! I rolled the die 50 times in total, and more than half of those rolls were trying to get that 6 xD.

I don't know if it was a problem with my device, but I didn't hear any sound effects or music.

I would have liked it if they had included different types of dice, which the enemy could also use to attack you, or even if the enemy had their own dice to attack us with, which would add more excitement to the game.

On the other hand, I really loved the character designs.

I really enjoyed the gameplay, especially the mechanic where you and your hat create a shockwave that stuns enemies when you land. The art style is amazing; you've made the most of that 4-color palette. Great game! Congratulations!

Great job! For your first time doing pixel art, the artwork turned out fantastic. You clearly put a lot of time and effort into it. At first, I had a little trouble figuring out where I was supposed to go and how to get to certain areas, but maybe that was just me and I didn't understand it. Congratulations!

I love the art style of this game and all the details throughout the house. Great job!

Good implementation of the theme, capturing the essence of the Game Boy. This game has great potential, and you could add a lot of features in the future. As an improvement, I would slightly reduce the player's hitbox so the player can get closer to the enemies, and I would add power-ups like a rotating shield that surrounds the player, similar to the bats, which would block enemy projectiles, but without making them too abundant. A great game for this game jam, congratulations!

What a great game! I really liked the concept, and considering the limited time they had to develop it, everything is very well balanced. The art and sound are fantastic. Congratulations!

I'm so glad you enjoyed my game, thank you very much for your comment!

Thank you! Here's a little tip: you can remember many traps more easily by paying attention to the background. Maybe that will help you. Thank you very much for your comment!

Thank you so much for your comment! My pleasure.

I'm glad you liked it, thank you so much for your comment!

I love these types of games, like WarioWare. The art style and sound are brilliant. I really enjoyed it. Great job!

I thought it was really cute, Rexy. I really liked all the different types of enemies you managed to include in such a short time. In my opinion, I would add some extra health points so you don't die in one hit, and I would also improve the movement controls a bit (get rid of that slight sliding effect when you release the button), since sometimes I had a little trouble reaching some platforms because of that. Even so, great job, well done!

"I loved the soundtrack; it's really catchy! I also really enjoy the sound effects and the graphics. The game idea is fantastic and fits the theme 'Unlucky' perfectly. Great job!"

I really liked the graphics; the color palette you chose is perfect.

At first, I had a little trouble spotting the chests, as I didn't realize you could interact with them. I would suggest adding some kind of visual effect or animation to highlight them, although given the limited time you had, it's understandable that you couldn't include that.

It's a game with a lot of content; I'm sure you put a lot of work into it.

Great job, congratulations!

I found the map a little difficult to understand. I really liked the sound effects. Great job!

I'm glad you liked it. That was precisely the goal: to learn from setbacks and be better prepared for them next time. Thank you so much for your feedback.

Thank you so much

Thank you very much for your comment. I understand that not everyone likes this type of game, as they can be somewhat frustrating.

Thank you very much for your comment. I'm glad you liked it.

I'm glad you liked it.

In fact, it was really fun during user testing, watching people right before something bad happened to them and knowing what was going to happen. I felt like I could see the future! xD

Thank you so much for your comment.

Thank you very much for your comment. I did consider adding a small warning, but I wanted the events to be unexpected, so that sometimes there wouldn't be time to react, and so that you could learn from them and anticipate them next time.

This is a very promising idea.

At first, I had a little trouble understanding where I could and couldn't build structures. I understand that you didn't have time to create a tutorial.

I also found the cursor movement a bit slow; in my opinion, it would be better if the player could hold down the button to move the cursor continuously, rather than having to press it once for each tile.

It's a game with great potential and an original concept using the theme of bad luck. Good job!

Great game! I'm not sure if it was my skill, but I found it a bit difficult to make precise movements; it felt like the game wasn't registering my button presses, and I kept bumping into the walls. Maybe you could slow down the game speed a bit.  Although, to be honest, I've never been very good at snake games anyway xD

Congratulations on your work!

I really enjoyed the game. The random disadvantages were a great feature; when I replayed the levels, I had to approach them differently each time because the disadvantage was always different. I also liked the feedback you get when you kill enemies; it's very satisfying. Congratulations on a job well done!

I really liked the enemy design and the wide variety of enemies. In my opinion, I would increase the difficulty of the boss fights; some of the  unlucky Room encounters seemed harder than the bosses themselves. Overall, I enjoyed it a lot. Great job!
