How does your game meet GBJam's theme?
Youre a witch and you walk under ladders and steps on cracks because thats bad luck but it powers your black magic so you do it anyway, duh! You also turn a cat black and kill a leprechaun and destroy a mirror, YEP.

yeah, cool. like the idea of collecting bad luck and using it as a weapon. like the song (it sounded really familiar for some reason). and i like that you had different tasks for acquiring the medallion pieces. I would say it gave me more Atari vibes than gameboy however.
nice work
That was neat! The mechanics are competent, and the theming is cool. The final boss design is charming!
I like the spooky music! That said, the audio is just a little loud; it sometimes peaks above -0 dB despite only being music.
Good work! Congratulations on the submission!
I enjoyed it and actually liked the gameplay a lot. but got a bit confused with some sprites and their use. Fun entry that begs for a replay button update post jam :)
Thanks for playing through it. I agree on having the replay button added. Can I ask which sprites were confusing?
I think it’s great that you have to collect misfortune and then shoot it to defeat the enemies :-D.
loving the bad luck as ammo concept . quick and fun experience !
Short experience but it was fun
Interesting idea! I like the luck = ammo concept. There is no way to restart after dying?
No restart, I would have put in a menu but ran out of time. Thanks for playing.
I love the sprite of the final boss, the game is short but very charming; I really enjoyed it.
Nice game, it feels very Game Boy-like!
Interesting to see "unlucky" things used as a necessary resource. I like the boss reflection mechanic, but it was a little confusing when trying to shoot him from the side since the mirror is just visually on the front of his body.
I had considered this but I was a bit too easy with such a big hitbox. I would have this implemented if the boss moved in four directions but was cut for time. Thanks for playing.
