I really liked the idea, how you added more to it by using the puzzle genre. The art could use some refinement, but other than that, a rather enjoyable games. I will not nitpick anymore bugs or the like, because I have already mentioned them in the stream.

A lot of potential on this one, and I hope you'll keep growing and make more games in the future!

Co len!

The idea is good! Cool concept to balance our chances by collecting the right ratio of elements. At first, I didn't realize that I needed energy balls to roll the dice because they look a lot like water drops. In the second part of the game, the new elements are confusing too: the air allows you to go into the fire, and the rock form is blue.

But for me, the major problem is that you can get stuck at the end of the game. The elemental form is randomized and the number of rolls is limited, and I got the wrong element again and again.

Okay, admittedly, the game screen was bigger than my computer screen, so I couldn't see the edges, and I was actually really confused for a while. It'd be nice if the physics were tighter (I fell through the floor a few times) and that the obstacles were a bit more animated, but obviously this is a game jam submission, so things had to be cut somewhere. Also, I felt that the hitboxes on the water obstacles were often bigger than the sprite, which was annoying. But your idea of using platformer collectibles for randomly selected powerups in order to traverse the environment based on what you get is a very interesting game idea!

I like the idea of getting the right element for the obstacles, but I'm not sure I like the RNG of the dice rolls in a puzzle game where you wanna figure out the solution. And I kind of ended up beating the final level by glitching up a wall. I wasn't quite sure if there was some kind of interaction with the elements that was supposed to get me higher up in the air.

Could also just use a fair bit of polish and QOL improvements in several areas, but I get that's mostly just due to lack of time. I think it definitely has the potential to be a fun game.

Really cool game, the idea to change elements to pass obstacles I was kind of confused at first but then makes sense, I it would be nice that the run animation and the jump animation maintain the element to avoid confusion, good job making the game in time

It takes a bit to get used to, but I think if the running sprites were set to the specific element used, then this already good game would be much easier to play.

i really enjoy the art/overall feel.  awesome job!

Cool concept for sure! I'm not sure if I fully understood how the dice worked but the random probability (even with skewed odds) made it so you would sometimes just get stuck on a level and have to restart at random, but maybe with more of a direct way to switch elements, or maybe with multiple solutions to the level despite element, there could be a lot of room here for really cool puzzles! Nice!

The game is nice! The puzzles were fun and it could be expanded and turned into a bigger game!

This is an interesting concept, and sometimes when you can't get your element you can use the platforms to overcome the challenges. I like that you can manipulate the dice somewhat, though it took me a while to understand how.

Very good concept and story. With a little more work on the visuals and gameplay it could be a really fun game

Pretty creative and the art/sound is good :)

Implementation was a touch wonky, but 48 hours isn’t long to make a game and that didn’t stop me from having fun :)

I'm glad you have fun, I know it is wonky, and will try to polish next time. Thanks for playing

Very creative! Movement was a bit wonky though and the jump is OP - you can pretty much just jump over every level.

Interesting mechanic. I liked the art and sounds, good work

I really like the Idea and the art

The gameplay is okay considering you did it in 48h

So all in all pretty intersting and solid game :D

Very interesting idea, the art and sound are a bit unpolished, same for the gameplay, but the idea got across and i enjoyed it, very solid submission.

Looks really good and interesting! Very funny game)

Nice execution of the theme, art style and gameplay really complement each other. Takes a little while to figure out how to influence the die, and the hitboxes are a bit confusing at first (felt more like a box even though the flames had different heights), but once you get the hang of it it's quite fun to play!

Thank you for the feedback. I should give more tutorials but still let the players explore by themselves.

The character design is pretty neat and it has some interesting level designs. The hitboxes are a bit confusing though.

Thank for the feedback, we will try to fix the hitboxes next time. It's just too big and annoying for now
