I had really nice and fun time playing this game :)  I also loved the idea that you decreased the difficulty based on the players skill. Visually game looks really good. Musics are also great but it gave me a tavern board game feeling :) I think a brief invulnerabilty moment after getting hit would be nice but this version is also good that you have to move away from your enemy as soon as possible. Good and complete game thanks for submitting :)

Incredible that you made this solo! The game is visually stunning with smooth animation. And the music choices are great! I like how after each death there's different music! The combat is smooth, and it functions exactly as how you expected it will. The sprites and the particles are beautiful.

To make this game even better, I think the screen shake can be more subtle. My eyes physically hurt from playing. I die more times due to not being able to focus on the character because of the screen shake than actually misplaying. Also, the hp bars can use another color for improved clarity. The game becomes exceedingly if you just hide in a corner, so you should fix this too!

Overall, the game is incredibly well-made. You should be very proud! Great work!

This is interesting, but it feels like you only want to just die the first few times to get the powers, and then actually play. I think you probably should have locked the rotation on the rigidbodies of the enemies.

I really liked the based mechanics, in terms of running and attacking. I would recommend changing the attack key though, as it get's tough to use consistently due to it's relative placement to the other keys on the keyboard. Overall well done and great submission!

Loved the concept with loosing (dying) and been given more stuff from the developer to try again :).
Possibly could have given more health in the end :P, but i loved the cheat key :P.
Nice set up for a game, with a unique feel. Well done!

I liked the game mechanics, but on a German keyboard it is hard to use those keys (z and y are swapped), so there should be some way to remap them. Besides that, nice game!

Sorry mate but I'm not using CTRL or Z to attack, if you change the controls to something more intuitive I'll play it a lot more.
Can I suggest left mouse button for attack?

The only thing that was really hard was hitting with CTRL. Besides that, I love the ease the player moved with and good animations!

For me I would have prefered the Right Ctrl key for attack or LMB, to have one hand dedicated to move/jump and one for attacking. 

Having two hands on the same side of the keyboard is a little tricky.

It was ok, not my cup of tea tho to be fair.
i sat in the right-hand corner and just kept hitting lol, i had jumped around but noticed that either corner seemed to work better.
The background and colour theme worked well but i think the characters looked a bit miss matched, music was nice and didnt notice the sfx being out of place so thats good.

This is a very clever implementation of the theme and I didn't totally get killed on purpose just to see how many more powers I would get... :D

Really fun game, I loved it. The only thing that took me out a bit was the screenshake. I found it suitable but too exagerated for the crabs.

Really nice game, I like the narrative! Although, I think 4 jumps are really unnecessary, I did not use jump at all. :D Also, it would be nice to have some build up, because at the end I fell like the is a big spike in the spawning of enemies. Good work overall, nicely done! :)

Nicely polished and put together. However I think the mobs should have more of an aggro range.
I didn't manage to win but I found I got my best score by just standing in the corner with my back to the wall and spamming the attack button rather than using the special abilities. But then unless they landed right in front of me, they just sat on the bottom and didn't attack. But if I tried to play "normally", the crabs just fired out and landed on my head or they bounced around and landed on my head and killed me.
I also thought there was too much camera shake, especially when it was just a tiny crab landing!

Very well done! I wish my game came even close to that. Was a bit confusing at first but I liked it. And the fun thing was that you could just cheat your way to victory as well.
