I liked it, although I'd sometimes get stuck without bugspray, and I'd have to let myself get killed by the big ants, since it seems you cannot defeat them without bugspray.

Integrating a flashlight into a game like this is cool. The strategy is tricky to work out at first, but comes eventually. I did encounter what seemed like some invisible enemies (or maybe they were behind other corpses?)
Gameplay: Interesting idea but there are a few problems. One thing I didn't like is running out of ammo can be annoying especially when all of the small bugs are dead. Another thing is the at the beginning of some levels you get immediately damaged by the small bugs.
Graphics: Pixel art looks good but the contrast from the light and dark is a little drastic.
Audio: Sounds are pretty good but there's something about the song that kinda hurts my ears.
Theme interpretation: Doesn't really do anything special with the theme but it fits.
Innovation: Pretty basic shooter though the squishing smaller bugs is nice.
Overall: Nice game. It gets pretty hard by level 5 is there an ending?
very cool almost roguelike game. I did find that it feels a bit to easy to lose your spray almost to the point that if I miss more than 2 times I'm pretty much done for since the drops to replenish wasn't that much. Perhaps playing in favor of the player I would add logic that makes the drops lean more towards whatever the player is missing more. For example, a few times I got like 3 hearts dropped and only 2 spray refills when I was in full health and only had like one pixel left of the spray. I think a change like that could help extend the play which can be a fun arcade like experience if it wasn't so easy to run out of ammo.
Well made game! The art is very cool. Get's very hard till the end ^^
Fun game overall, I wisht there was a way to gain ammo if you run out and still have bugs around. Otherwise I thought this was pretty neat, nice job with the animations and assets.
Contols worked pretty smoothly and having the flashligt and gun combo worked pretty well.
Well done!
Very nice game. I liked the flashlight part. Everything moves so smoothly.
I like the gameplay. It wasn't clear immediately that I need to herd the enemies together to save on ammo but it was generous enough after I figured it out. Some more variety in enemies or maybe environmental hazards would have been cool as well.
Nice style and I also liked those strategic "aha" moments :D
Coool. I like the idea of walking over the smaller bugs to squash them, and having to shoot the bigger ants. It adds some strategy.
Neat game, I love the creepy atmosphere! The sound design is great, what tool did you use? A ranged enemy would've made the encounters intense faster, but in the later levels getting mauled in a corner is pretty intense already. Nice work!
Thanks!
I used ChipTone and https://sfxr.me/ for the sound effects. The music and the background ambient sound was made by my cousin.
