Hey, take a look at kaboom.js (https://kaboomjs.com/). I did a couple of games with it and it is very easy to learn and quite a lot of fun :) Maybe it is more powerfull than just using canvas :)

Maybe i will use it for the jam also.

Yeah, i think this is a problem of kaboom.js. It is not as powerfull like Phaser.js or any other game engine.
