This game has really polished gameplay, it feels great while you play it, the levels are fun and like others mentioned, it’s things like the mid-air slow-motion while you aim that gives it such a finished and polished feeling. The only thing that’s odd is that the different graphics style for the text and the ladybird (they look so clear and sharp) compared to the pixel graphics for the background elements make it feel as if they’re from 2 different games. Anyway well done, your last year’s submission was great too, I hope to see you again in the 2022 Game Off! :)
Thank you so much for all your words, I appreciate it a lot!
great game and interesting mechanics
pixel games 🥰🥰 , I like the audio, good job bro <3
Very great presentation and replayability. Would be great with more levels on mobile devices. Slow motion while holding the button was a good idea.
Good interpretation of the theme, nice mechanics. It is challenging but fun. Artstyle is cute :D
This game deserves more plays! I really enjoyed playing all the different levels. The game feels very polished and the art and music are great too! One feedback I have is that I wish the velocity of the ball is replaced by my input instead of adding to the current velocity so that the control feels more responsive and the ball is actually traveling in the direction of my input.
Nice game with good mechanics. Good job!
This was fun and had a lot more levels than I expected! Great job for a month long jam :D
On a touch device this is probably a great game.
I like the graphics and audio. I can't get past level 2 though :(
Fun little game to play! Enjoyed trying to beat every level with the challenge of beating it in a limited amount of shoots allowed along with obstacles. The slow motion was a nice touch as well.
Physics did feel a little off for me sometimes though. Sometimes I would shoot and it would barely move and other times a shoot would bring me instantly to the other side of the map, but maybe there was something that I didn't understand why it would do that.
Thank you so much for playing the game! ;) The applied force is following the current inertia, so if you were shooting in the direction of movement, you would be vastly speed up, otherwise the ball should be like slowed down, so changing directions is more difficult with such approach and thanks to this more strategic :D
I felt sorry tossing around the poor ladybug but it was a fun game overall!
Thank you so much for tossing the ladybug! :D
Fun game with cool pixel art and sound effects. It reminds me of Red Ball browser games that I played when I was younger. I enjoyed playing this game you made!
This is so simple yet extremely fun. I really like the slow-motion effect and this moment when the ball rolls very slowly towards the star. I have nothing bad to say about this game - it simply works and is a great example of a polished game for a jam. Great job!
awesome game! cool art and sounds, simple and straightforward controls and gameplay, nice learning curve and it has a good replay value, overall I injoyed playing this ! congratulations! keep it up!
very nice game that has some pretty simple mechanics but with nice level design and difficulty curve
A very simple and satisfying game to play. I like when I can complete a game jam game in one sitting. Good job on the difficulty curve and the overall cuteness of this game.
I really enjoyed playing through this game! In particular, I felt like the difficulty curve was just about right (took me a good few attempts to beat level 10 :D).
A ghost coming from the ladybug that indicated the direction in which it would fly on release would have maybe been nice, just so there's no need to look away from the ladybug if you're trying to be precise with the controller at the bottom of the screen. That said, maybe this would look cluttered in practice.
Great job!
Really fun concept! Reminds me of older iOS mobile games like Cut the Rope, Angry Birds etc. Great work!
Easy to pick up, good graphics, comfortable music, requires some path planning, and had to think about the bounce angle and stuff. it was pure fun!
