This was really fun! Interesting and unique puzzles, it took some time to properly understand them and I liked the challenge.

Good job!

I enjoyed your game, I like the seahorse/arrows idea! Well done

Fun and interesting puzzles! Enjoyed trying to figure out every level and beating the game. The pickup with the Z's was definitely a bit tricky but glad to have figured it out.

Loved the puzzles, well designed and a bit of challenge in there for sure. Would have been great to have some sound effects too! Great job with the main character in particular, looks great.

This game was a lot of fun! I almost gave up on the last level but had a eureka moment that was super satisfying. Great job! just wish it was longer.

Cool and interesting puzzle game that gradually gets harder. It took some time to finish the map with the first sleeping pickup.

Developer

That one's tricky hahah was about to nerf it before uploading but decided not to. Glad you enjoyed :)

Great puzzle! I had fun and have saved the animals (no spoiler here right?). I'm ready for more stages! Keep up the good work!

Developer

Glad you had fun playing through it :) Thanks for playing!

Not sure what I did wrong but I could not get past this part

I feel like I missed something because I could not get past this part. I went up to the backward looking arrow but nothing happened. I pressed SPACE and it seems to make the seahorse move and I like blink two tiles below then move up two. I figured that "oh, this is the bug theme interpretation" but maybe I just kept undoing the effect or something but didn't go beyond this part. Also, I have an ultrawide monitor which is why the game looks the way you see here. :)

Developer

Ahh sorry about that. The ultrawide resolution scaled the canvas for the dialogue and it's clipping out the continue button to tell you what to do! I will make a note of that hahah

You can pick up and place those red tiles with left shift and put them in the pathing of the enemies to make them take different paths!

Sounds like I need to give this another go :)

Gave it another chance and was able to beat the first two levels. Level 3 has the text box covering too much of the screen for me to see well but I get the gist of it. It is a nice simple puzzler but  can't take my guard down or else I will mess up and have to restart :D

Amazing!!! The underwater otter is so cute and the puzzles are pretty challenging! The engine choice and turn based movement is so cool too!

Developer

Thank you for playing and commenting!! glad you enjoyed :)

Really enjoyed the challenge of the puzzles and really having to focus & sequence the enemies move! Lovely background audio to add tension but not pressure and feels like a really well executed project! My one pointer would be switch the key from 'shift' as I kept getting the windows Stick Key warning when running through enemy sequences!

Developer

Glad you enjoyed it! That's a good point.. I have it disabled so I never saw that message. Thanks for the feedback and for playing :)

Puzzles were well made and engaging.  Enjoyed the algorithmic movement system of the enemies. Adding the arrows or other modifiers to their movement suites the "bug" theme well.  Music gave the game a good atmosphere.

I really liked playing this, the puzzles felt really planned out and gave me a feeling of great satisfaction when I did complete it. The art was really nice and complex and I liked that it didn't drop all of the information on you all at once (regarding the puzzles) the music was extremely calm, but also made me feel like I was going into the unknown. This is definitely the best game I have played so far! However, the theme of the game didn't really correlate with me, I didn't get the sense of bug, more animal in general, or sea creature, but that is the only thing that I didn't understand and this could definitely be made into a fully fledged game that I would buy if it were expanded a bit more. Great work!

Developer

Thanks so much for playing! We definitely stretched the theme hahah. We originally started with the enemies being bugs, and then the enemies being robots with you inserting bugs to change their movement, but ultimately decided to take a different direction with it so it stood out more. The main aspect of the bug theme is just placing the tiles as "bugs" to the enemies algorithmic pathing.

Thanks again for playing and for the comment, means a lot!

cute otter & cool concept makes simply designed maps deceivingly tough to solve
