Hi Fennelle!

Thank you so much for playing :) I'm glad you enjoy the atmosphere we were trying to create! Further - thank you for the notes for improvement! I've been keeping note of all feedback we've got from players to improve on after the jam when we expand the game to it's originally planned levels!

Invincible why talking is a huge oversight, super sorry but thank you so much for playing and really glad you wanted to progress further!

Hey! Thanks for the screen-cap, i'll be looking into that as a fix once the jam is open for sure! I'm glad you like the character sprite, did take me a while even with Aesprite (I've never done pixel art before XD) there was no attack key however once the Jam is over and we continue working and developing I was looking at adding sprint/jump/crouch/dodge animations to add an extra level of diversity to movement and allows us to open up the world/level options some more! FF3 was  actually not on our inspo document but by far one of my favourite instalments so I'm really happy to hear that comparison!

Thanks so much for the comment, I'm glad you liked how it all came together!

Hi Kira, Thanks for the comment! We really wanted people to get lost in the first level however I appreciate I've probably taken it too far, it's something we plan on improving after the Jam when we release the final few levels also!

Hey never_K,

We built in Unity, however the Mac version has thrown up errors for some users (others not so much) I've got a crazy week at the moment but considering it's a 'broken' link I'll be fixing it ASAP and then letting all those Mac users know they can now play our game!

Thanks for the feedback and sorry you weren't able to play atm.

Great game! A real fun concept, would love to see this built on more, really fun little play!

Gorgeous intro, was really hopeful to see more of that as it's beautifully crafted, I know you did say it was unfinished however so we can all acknowledge this is a Jam for experience, fun & learning!

beautifully designed but I personally find the movement super sensitive, great for a speed run ;) with the amount of health enemies have i'd defo increase the characters as it seems super easy to die if you get mobbed and those guys just refuse to die XD Great game, difficult, but really good game!

Really nice look and feel to the game! I've only played a little so far but really enjoyed the area you've created! I'll 100% be going back to this and investing more time, love the artwork!

Thanks so much for the feedback! I'm glad you enjoyed your playthrough and I'm glad the most frequent 'gripe' is the cave, Once the Jam is over I'll be sure to refine it :)

Brillliantly executed, beautiful artwork for characters and the environment, blended seamlessly and worked beautifully, lovely concept!

Super cool game, felt like portal/minecraft jump puzzles, really compelling visuals that screw with your perception to add another difficulty aspect! Loved the voice overs and the whole feel of the game. Well thought out and even better executed!

absolutely stunning audio, really captures you into the game and the visual style is beautiful! Really loved playing this and will be playing more of it for sure :) Incredible work!

Really lovely concept of flipping the axis and gives a super cool mechanic to the game and it's puzzles! Great Project :)

Fun game and overall concept! Like the level design and the darkness blocking your FOV! Enjoyable play and can defo see it as a casual mobile game!

Really love the visuals and the mechanics of this game! the 'return' aspect really allows you to move and then recall it to get a kill combo in! Loved the 'live' level select area, like an old crash game! Well done!

Love the painted artwork of the environment, really strong look you've created, the Characters/NPCs don't entirely match it but are great in their own right! enjoyed my play through, great concept :)

I really enjoy these mini-games to kill time at work! I loved the crazy mashup of music to really enhance the carnage that's happening! Good game and great work would love to see it finished

'dont play it too much' you say. Knowing full well these are the games I can loose days in trying to beat my high-score! Lovely style and the slight 'curve screen' effect that the old CTV's used to give! love the SFX, all blends super well together!

Super interesting concept bringing a TTRPG to the NES style, would love to have seen some more of the 'dice' somehow (almost like a roller on the side panel) and did find controlls a little finnicky to get used to! Enjoyed my time playing and would defo say one big thing would be like an 'arrow' or icon above the active characters head would be amazing as I kept accidentally wasting movement into a wall thinking I was on a different character :)

Hey there! We're super sorry you can't play the Mac version, You are right that it is a known problem and i'll be getting it sorted ASAP so more people can enjoy our game :) And thanks for the tip on our font colour, I went with Oshi's outfit & eye colour but did have my concerns about readability and it appears they are true! I'll be sorting that :)

Thanks so much for the positive words! We really appreciate all the kind feedback we're getting and love that people are enjoying the game! After the Jam we'll be working on the 'full' version where you'll find out if Oshi does in fact make it home! I loved your project too and would love to see it expanded more :)

I'm so sorry about this but thank you for making me aware I'll be sure to fix this! I'm really sorry this spoiled your experience :(

I absolutely adore the illustrative visuals in this game! Screw the pixel mode, the artwork is perfect! My Mrs (not a gamer) would play this just for the art style! Really wonderful project, would love to see more of it :)

Really enjoyed the game, would love to play more of it, Love the difficulty curve of some jumps impossible without the butterfly bounce, super interesting mechanic there (although slightly frustrating having to restart the level after screwing the last one) - can defo see people competing for high scores on this with added levels!

really great way to capture the retro feel but modernise the system a bit, enjoyable playthrough - I do love me a tower defence game!

What an absolute joy of a game! Took me back to a game I used to play when mobile games first were a thing (im talking snake days, not smartphone) and a similar concept. The artwork is just insanely cool, love the arcade vibes. perfectly executed!

Really enjoyed the game and the finer details are amazing! So well through out and visually stunning to match!

amazing visuals and engaging audio! Brilliant concept and super interesting game to play! Will be investing more time in it for sure :)

It's like a modern point & click game! Love the visuals and the world we play in and the audio is just so calming to play too!

Absolutely love the artwork and ambient audio! Can't wait to see what the finished project is

Fun game! Great project, enjoyed the funky spy music keeping me motivated, Camera did feel a little jittery at times but nothing that overly killed the experience!

From the moment I saw the screenshot in the discord server I could not wait to play this and was not disappointed! Incredible isometric pixel style that completley shatters 2d/3d boundaries! This game could go so so far!

super interesting art style and blend between them! Would really like to see the world developed more seems like it could be the start of an amazing survival based game!

My weakness in this world is city builders/world building games, I can loose myself in them with hours, really impressed with the game and will be spending more time on it after the jam!

LOVE the audio - that opening scene is sublime! Love the dialogue & artwork, amazing concept! Nailed it :)

Thanks for playing, super glad you enjoyed it! We were fortunate enough to come across an incredible sound artist who just kept producing amazing songs for us to use!

Interesting concept and character design! I really like how you've fleshed out a whole world behind all this! Great job :)

Love the concept! Really enjoyed the gritty feel from the old PC graphics and the terrible crime-watch CCTV quality, really enjoyed the atmosphere  you've created!
