Amazing concept, and really clever puzzle design to go with it! I do have to say it can be VERY frustrating at times, although the slow mode was an excellent way to combat this. Still, I'd say the most annoying part was the fact that the hitbox changed when I changed direction, meaning when I was very close to the thorns without hitting them, I would move in a different direction, and they would somehow kill me. For a game like this where the difference between winning and losing is often pixel-precise, it's probably best to have the player hitbox as a perfect square, positioned directly in the middle of the sprite, so the affore-mentioned problem doesn't happen, and frustrate players. Nice art and music, overall, good game.

Really cool concept, Amazing job on doing so much with so little time! The art is charming, the puzzles are great and the game fits the theme like a glove. Great work!

Really cool game! You got me hooked for a while! The second level felt a little too difficult compared to the levels after it. I'd work on easing into the difficulty a little more. That said, I really love how you approached the theme and I thought that the puzzles were really clever!

I did notice one thing that might make the UX a little better. When I'd line myself up for a vertical path, and once I was ready to start moving downward, I'd often hit the corner of the hitbox even though it looked like I had plenty of room. I think just allowing a little more room to move around would make it a little less frustrating when working toward a puzzle.

Overall I think it was a great experience!

Nice game, but quite hard! I liked it :)

I like the mirror concept, forcing you to keep track of both characters' safety. My music was getting pretty glitchy after a few loops, unfortunately, since it was a good, pensive track that fit the puzzle-solving mood.

A well polished game, but it seems like the difficulty curve ramps up too fast over time. By the second level, you've got to perform some pretty quick movements at times and figure out how to avoid hitting the bushes, all while still wrapping your head around the controls. If the learning curve was a little bit smoother and more forgiving in the beginning though, I can see this being a pretty fun game to play. Good job!

The pixel art and lighting system for this title make it come off as incredibly polished for a jam game. Would have loved to see a proper tileset and more forgiving level design for the sake of playability. Great job!

Pretty nice althought quite hard! I noticed sometimes the characters have different collisions when they rotate, which means that on the same position they can either die or not depending on their orientation, which seems like a bug to me. Overall, nice and polished! (loved the smoke fx)

I found that the fact that the blue guy goes the opposite direction to be very challenging for my brain to comprehend, by that I mean: I understand how it all works, but it was hard for my brain to know what buttons to press when trying to do blue-guy-controlling. This may be just because I'm pretty bad at all types of puzzles in general. I think to help dumb-dumbs like me fully grasp the concept, there should have been some extra really easy levels at the start to get my brain in that way of thinking before the actual challenges start. By the way, the game looks really good and the music perfectly goes with the gameplay and feel. It also felt really nice whenever I finished a level. Cool game.

The concept of the multiple character controlled at the same time has been seen a lot in this jam, but here I find the level particularly interesting ! The challenge is quite well balanced, I did all the levels without finding the solution immediately, but without struggling too much either.

I think some quality of life improvement could make the game a bit more polished, and prevent a few unuseful frustration : the colliders don't seem to be the same when the character looks up and when he looks right or left, so I sometimes ended up dying when I turned while I was too close to a wall. Maybe the game could work with movement following tiles ? I don't think the free movement is really used in levels, and it leads often to deaths because the characters move quite fast.

The concept is nice, it has the potential to expand with more levels (more tutorials maybe). The music, if improved with more variety, can be great. The pixel perfect movement and the full resets with the bushes is solid ragequit material. The game is not for me in general but I see the appeal. Good job!

This is a fun game. The levels are well designed and made good use of the mechanics. The animation are pretty cool.

I think that the collider for the player should be a square so that it won't touch the bush close by and die when rotating. There's a bug in the first portal level where bushes on the left edge of the screen is not killing the player. I'm not sure if it's only me, but the music can sometimes 'breaks' and produce a pop sound.

The game feels very polished. Great job on it!

While this interpretation of the theme is probably the most common, this one sticks out to me as the one with the better balance of challenge and fun. Most are too easy and predictable. This one was the right about of challenging and stumping, but not impossible, so quite rewarding! My critique would be that the grid nature of the worlds would lend itself better to having the movement also be based on a grid. There were too many times where my hit box would barely touch something and I would lose in a way that felt unfair. Other than that, the art and sound are well done! Good job on this jam!

The idea may look simple but the good level design and the sound/visuals keep you engaged. Good job!

Also, I think that the learning curve should be less steep, with a couple more “easy” levels in the beginning to make sure people get it. Also, I would change the movement to a tile-based system or make the collisions with walls less restrictive. Sometimes the difficulty of game came from that when you already knew how tot solve the puzzle.

Cool game :)

Very cool puzzle game! I love the aesthetic and the music setting a good mood with this genre. the puzzles were quite difficult at times but always were satisfying when completing them! great work!

Interesting mechanic and it is quite hard is the beginning, but once you complete a few levels it starts go get fun! Really cool game

the game is really hard at first, but after I finally complete the first puzzle, I feel the game is so fun to play. I highly recommend this game.

This is a great little puzzle game, it could be full of interesting locks and keys and collectibles. I really struggled with the 3rd level, but nobody else had that problem so I might just suck at puzzles xD

I really liked the atmosfere and it nicely fites the theme.

Really nice looking game! The atmosphere reminds me of the Kuroko Forest in Zelda! Well done 😁
