How does your game fit the theme?
We implemented a multiplayer (two person) boss rush game where the two players must attack together in order to create synergistic spell combinations that deal more damage than without to the enemy. As not all spell combinations result in beneficial effects, players must think on their feet in order to choose their desired spell combos in the short amount of time provided. In other words, the players must synchronize (join together) their attacks in order to win against the enemies they face.

Very cute art. I recognize some of the music… I think?

Cute artwork, fun gameplay, what's there not to like.

It certainly has its charm ! I really like the sound effect !

Very cute art, I love it! Battle system was pretty fun with how you had to think fast to create combos. I think it could benefit from a timer so you knew how long you had to choose cards though. Very simple game, but quite fun!

This has gotta be the best art I've seen all jam! Super impressive that you were able to make all this in a 48 hour period. The gameplay was pretty simple but not in a bad way, I still had fun figuring out what fun names all the spell combos had and trying them out. Great work!

Nice game and idea! I could definitely see this being built into a bigger game. I would say maybe next time expand the times for the turns a little bit, at least in the beginning. Or have a tutorial with no time limit. The first couple rounds I was still looking at the cards to see what they do lol. But overall very well done!!

I love turn-based battles. The art and music pretty neat and a laugh when a didn't  press anything and a legend say They were goofing around XD

This game is legendary!  Gameplay was fun, would play more of this.  Music was bangin', art was top notch, and I felt like I could conquer anything (especially Brock Lee).

Great jrpg with a twist. I would like to see more feedback on time left to press the keys, but otherwise, great game. Very nice artwork. I liked it.

It's a very cute game with wonderful art! It takes a while to learn all of the card combinations. I had a lot of fun playing this game.

The art is wonderful, I love the execution of this and how you have to think fast about what spells to use before your party decides to loaf around! Brilliant choice of music too.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVED THE ARTWORK! Both the character design and the drawing style are really on point! Plus, the combos and the monster names are super clever. Good job!! :D

(Bonus points for using Rude Buster *-* )

Great concept! I like the premise but I think it wasn't fully explored. there was little to no explanation about combos or the numbers on the cards or how turns work so gameplay at the beginning was mostly just clicking cards and hoping something good happened. it wasn't until the end of the second boss that I stumbled upon my first combo ( Brock lee was a masterpiece btw). after that it was rather fun because I actually knew what I was doing. there's also a bit of tuning that needs to happen, especially on the time you have to pick cards because it was a so quick I barely had time to think.

the art was really cute and had a nice style so it was pretty cohesive. the audio was really good and helped with the cute aesthetic (except the wind attack sound XD)

So in conclusion, this is a really cute game and I had a great time with it once I was able to figure it out. keep up the good work :D

Art looks fantastic! Good work!

Love the art, animation. Would love to have some indication on how long still have to choose cards. Other than that, I can see some great potentials!

Nice artwork :) Love the style!

A bit more explanation what the numbers on cards mean and what combos are good would be a great addition to the game

Thath was very charming! The reaction based system can be quite exciting as well, maybe an indicator for how much time is left would be nice. I like the music and enemy designs :)

Awesome game! the characters / art were really nice, would've been cool to have some feedback for the spells, but otherwise I really enjoyed the game. :D

Presentation is very good. However, the unconnected music tracks and the funny-but-random enemies left the game feeling incoherent. Perhaps, tying the three bosses together at least visually would have worked better?

I failed to notice any correlation between the enemy and what cards they took the most damage from. Power level being placed on the card makes me feel conflicted: on one hand, it creates an extra line to read, making it somewhat harder to decide on the combo in the short time given, on the other - that very fact rewards the fast (hence skilled) players. It also somewhat undermines the importance of combinations (from how it felt, at least), going somewhat against the intended flavour.

Overall, I enjoyed the game, mostly for its fast pace (and the neat voice acting); but if it is developed further, some stronger creative direction is necessary. For a jam game, though, it is a job well done!

I really liked the way the cards chosen by each player could stack for combos, it felt really satisfying!

Well done, nice idea!
