Mhm You are right. Some of that was by design, I wanted the game to end and didn’t want the player to be stuck in game for half an hour just shooting enemies. It certainly needs balance. Thanks for the feedback :)

Yeah the projectiles is something I want to iterate on

It’s supposed to be a radar pulse to lock your missile swarm on airships. Buuuuut the vfx is not clear at all, I agree

Space exploration is where it’s at! Thanks for the compliments, first model I’ve ever rigged hahaha

The animation of super fast punching is hilarious, props for that. This could very well be a minigame in a wii-ware sort of game

Thanks!

I think it was yes, hahaha

Haha, thanks! I had fixing the out of bounds thing in my list and I completely forgot about it xD

This is so good. Like really really good. Like how can people make games this good if their days are also 24h long. The spritework is so so good, specially for the mech. The audio basically gave me playing SNES Mega Man flashbacks hahaha. congrats!

For what’s worth, I like the sprite and the story snippet you wrote. Not wasting time is a lesson I also learn every jam too, totally relate.

Pretty fun! I love the ambiance in your ‘office’ control module. The picture of your family back at home sells it. Harvest the mushrooms for them.

I liked the environment. Then I fell through the floor. Woops.

Pretty fun. Graphics were pretty good too! I wish it was a little bit brighter so it was easier to see.

There are shadows, but the light is not perfectly perpendicular to the ground plane. I iterated a bit on the angle and haven’t settled a bit on a better angle yet. Might be a bug who knows! Thanks for the feedback too!

There’s not much there, as advertised. But what’s there is pretty good. Controlling the character is super fun, and the sprite work is REALLY well made. Animations are smooooth. That’s totally something you all should keep working on, imo.

What a trip! I love the campy-ness and self-awareness.

Veeeery nice attention to detail. Rain and open cockpit at the start was a pretty smart move to set up ambience, good idea. The hud on showing up over the canopy and other details like that really sell the feeling of piloting the mech.

Such a mood. Like a fever dream version of super mario sunshine. Really like the art style and how it all works together. Good game!

Suuuper original game! Such a great idea too, very difficult until you get the hang of it. The camera shaking a lot can be a bit rough on the motion sickness, but i’m sure that’s something you could work around

Ohhh making games on fantasy consoles is such an arcane thing to me. You guy fantasy console people are a bunch of wizards. Really fun game, graphics, audio and so on all mesh so well together. Congrats!

Thanks for the thorough feedback!

Really great voice acting! May I adding he charge to the mouse too?

The boardgame styled ‘overgalaxy’ map is a really interesting take on stage selection and progression. I love the mech designs too

Yeah, you are totally right. I just wanted to show variety and UX kinda got brushed to the side for the jam version.

Really really really good art! Gameplay was also super polished, well done!

Yeah, I tried adding sounds but at that point I was already too burnt out to keep fiddling with a good balance so it wouldn’t just become noise. I will certainly try and add sounds after the jam ends :)

Hope it was helpful enough hahaha. I realized color coding stuff was maybe bad without testing if it was clear for color blind people

Fun game, do you plan to continue working on this? I would request the player to be able to move a little bit faster :)

What sells it 100% is the fact stuff hops on your desk while your mech moves. Also Thanks for the ability to scribble of every single sheet of paper you give me hahaha

Is there a way to change the resolution? The menu doesn’t seem to respond to clicking and the game is huge

I like the Zone of the Enders vibe this has. Took me one attempt of shooting the rocket to realize that was not what I should do… oops. Controls are pretty good after you get used to it, and if you keep polishing this game, it will be very fun.

Yeah. If I continue this project I will probably make other ground specific weapons and stuff. Lot’s of things to iterate upon which I just did not have enough time for.

Hey, at least you have a consistency in your art and overall design. Some fonts were hard to read tho sadly

The targeting crosshair on enemies is a really cool idea. I tried doing something similar and it looks so much noisier than yours

Such a well polished and animated game.

Love the vibes. I was expecting horror and not a cute cat hahaha. I want to see how it ends!

It’s absolutely not shitty hahaha. Small scopes are fun too! I had some mouse drift for some reason, but other than that really cool.

I. Love. This. Perfect PSX vibes too.

Oh shi–. Forgot to fix that, I had it in my list!

This is like a super fun toy! I spent a while just swinging around for fun. Art was a bit messy tho, but it worked in its own way! Congrats
