Not really sure what to say as there isn't much as a prototype, but the premise and backstory sounds interesting. I like the pixel art work for the character too. You still put effort to make something, thats honestly more than I can say for most people I know from school or college.
Good prototype that show solid effort ^^
It's ok if you didn't manage to make a full game, you managed to do something and publish it which is still an accomplishment.
For what's there i like the premise you wrote, with the experimental personality types AI as mech drivers, interesting concept. I also like the mech sprite in game and cover art, as well as the futuristic font you have for the interface.
I'm sure outside of a limited time context like a jam you can build up on this.
Keep at it and well done regardless :)
We often say that releasing is the most important and it is. It takes courage to share publicly our work, so GG. I’m looking forward to play your next game.
Hope you finish this.
For what’s worth, I like the sprite and the story snippet you wrote. Not wasting time is a lesson I also learn every jam too, totally relate.
Good on you for one trying and two still putting it out there for others to see. Even though there wasn't much there I liked how you still included a shake on impact. The feeling of doing something in-game often is as important as the thing you are doing because who ever wants to do something that feels bad. Including the feel part of things from the get go I think that shows you're thinking in good directions, even if you weren't able to get there all the way. You'll get further the next time you try.
