its really nice but the changing attack its kinda unoticable but cannot complain about that becuz we dont implemented it either, other than that it was pretty fun. great game :D

Developer(+1)

There's an indicator in the bottom UI that ticks down so you can see when the changes are going to happen. I had planned to add a sound for the last 3 seconds before the countdown reaches 0, but decided against it as I felt there were already too many sounds, in hindsight I should've just done it, I agree that it's not obvious :D

Thanks for the feedback!

oh i know but it was kinda hard to keep track off because the visual change is very small. well it still fun when i was first play i acidently dash into the quit and im loving the quit transition. maybe add waiting 3 sec so if u accidently go there u dont accidently quit the game. but i dont think is really important btw great game had lot of fun.

I like this! The music is dope (of course it has heavy guitar riffs, so I have to like it) and the overall action gameplay is really neat. Great job guys!

Overall a fun game

Submitted(+1)

The game is good overall, but I couldn't really do much as it's quite difficult. Weapon switching is pretty cool because all weapons are different, but I wish there would be more of them.
Visuals are ok, music sounds good and sound effects are nice too.

Variety in enemies and weapons are really nice. Visuals and audio are pretty good. A bit more feedback when player gets hit would be nice, but I really enjoyed playing as is. Overall, really fun game. Great job!

This game has so much potential, but I think the art pack you have chosen is holding it back a bit. Also some visual feedback on getting hit and hitting enemies and maybe some life bars on the enemies would go a great way. Still, really good job on the game, it's really fun :)

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! I totally agree. Sometimes I wish a day would have more than 24 hours x)

Very fun, a bit hard from the get go (seems to be a problem for all of us tbh), I hate the rifle :P

The only problem I've notived was that because different weapons have different fire rates, I'd assume some have more powerful bullets, but it's not visible in any way. Other than that, great, great submission!

Developer(+1)

Yeah, that's really a problem, either you finish in one go or die over and over again in the first stage xD

Interestingly, the sniper is actually the strongest weapon damage-wise assuming you dont't hit 100% of your shotgun-pallets each shot. But I feel you, it's so slow and theres no indicator about the strength, that would've been cool.

Thanks for your feedback!

*insert funny joke* game was fun and simple, would rate it nine out of ten times ;)

Fun game, kick ass music, the dodge feels satisfying to use, would love some more feedback when hitting the enemy

Submitted(+1)

Good one! It's fun to play for sure, and I like the color palette you used.
I suggest adding more hit feedback and more popcorn enemies to balance the spongier ones, then it would be even more fun.
Rock on and stay funky,
Dez

Fun game. Felt smooth

This game is my jam! Really appreciated that the players hp would regen because i didn't feel too bad when i did poorly in a room. You had a nice variety of enemies and they all seemed to have really nice animations. They were a bit spongey but I'm fine with a little sponge.  Some hit effects would have been nice but I understand... gamejam and all :) The music was sweet. Very rockin. Overall this was a really nice game and I played for way too long haha! :)

Cool game!

Very fun with a good amount of depth. I wish the crosshair was easier to follow as as it blends with the visuals

Submitted(+1)

The minimalist style and pretty fluid animations work quite well, but you kneecapped your own visuals by having no hit feedback what-so-ever (bullet impact splash, sfx, flashing, shaking, even simple expanding/fading out circle explosions on death would make a huge difference). This, combined with the rather high enemy health pools make shooting unsatisfying. The other issue is that while the 10 sec theme is represented, the guns feel too homogenous and don't change how I approach enemies. So IMO the game would benefit greatly from higher enemy counts, lower enemy health pools, better feedback and guns that have slightly different utility.

Developer

Yeah, all those things were initially on my agenda and I'm a bit bummed that I wasn't able to work on those in the end. We started as 2 programmers, so we planned big and split tasks, but rather quickly I had to work alone, so lots of things had to be cut, pretty much all the things you mentioned and more. 100% with you, thanks for your feedback!

Really interesting concept of switching the guns every 10 seconds. Just found it a bit difficult to do the dash. The game is really fun to play :)
