This is good! Overall solid experience, but I have some issues to point. First, it lack variety in the enemies pattern, they just follow you and after a while it gets just too easy and stale... Add more enemies, with more movement pattern and weapons! It's a shame about the absence of sfx, adding gun sounds could really make the shooting more fun, especially when the gun feel is already quite good. And it would be nice to have more feedback when you get hit (visually and sfx wise). These are my little complaints, but beside that it's a great start for something that could be amazing!

Hey this was really nice! I really liked the top down prospective and how certain weapons like the shotgun would knock the player back! Player speed is a bit too slow. An indication as to where enemies will spawn would have helped to not get surrounded so easily. Some hit fx on bullets would be nice. But overall this was a really good entry! Nice work! :)

Hi, thanks for the feedback the movement speed seems to be the most of often pointed out thing so I'll definetly make the character a bit faster

Well done, this is a good entry! I like the bullet particles, they look excellent. And once I figured out I could, jumping everywhere was a lot of fun. The concept itself is actually really cool, I love the idea and the implementation of the theme!

There are a few little issues:

  • player movement is SO slow, you need to speed it up like 2-3x
  • the bullets for the shotgun are really small
  • check out the talk "the art of screenshake" for some excellent tips on making games like this "feel" much better. I think you could implement a LOT of what they say here, and if you do it would play like 500x better!
  • the Itch client didn't like your RAR file, which made it a little bit of a pain to play. It also tried to load up SteamVR? I think that's an issue with your UE settings!
  • A bit of polish on your menu and in-game UI would be really appreciated

If you address all those points, I think that would take it from a "good" entry to a great game! You should be proud of what's there, there's a really solid core there.

Thanks for the points for improvement and i noticed the rar problem but couldnt figure it out but it could just be that itch only uses zip's

Cool concept. I like how the pillars in the arena allow the player to strategize. It's not a real issue but the enemy types look identical and its difficult to distinguish between them.

Thats actually something that i didnt even think about
