Thanks for all of your comments, compliments, and critiques! I've taken a lot of feedback for this game and I have decided to make a small patch for it. I will not make any additional content for the game, but I will smoothen out some rough edges and fix things. 

• Resolution. The floor of the level is outside of the window for some screens, so I want to fix that ASAP.
• Collisions. The collisions between the cakes and the player are sketchy at best. Ideally I would like to fix the issues completely, but I think because of the way I designed the game it will be more difficult than usual. I'll give it a shot.

Very nice little game! I could easily see it being developed a little bit more as a runner with the addition of e.g. double jump and some other mechanics. Great job!

For some reason I couldn't see the bottom of the screen (so it was kinda hard to jump the obstacles) :(
But even with that, it was an excellent submission! Great graphics (the pastel colors look sick af!!!) and very sexy sound effects! Very slick controls and funny concept! Overall, awesome job!

Really like the take on the theme. Art was whimsically delightful as well. If it were any longer, I'd complain that restarting makes you watch the story again, but it's not an issue for the current length.

There was some collision detection issues - sometimes I could go through objects, sometimes I couldn't. Sometimes my speed was affected by being on a cake, at other times I could run full speed.

Though maybe that is what it's like to run on a cake. Great work!

The idea is so clever and cute and the art! Oh my gosh! Ty so much for providing the color palette. I think you said this was your first game jam on the discord..? if so, its a great first entry - and solo too :o

The story is well executed and it made me chuckle seeing the large plate run across the screen. The end scenes when you win or loose have the words merged together. Nice job!

Sometime I could jump on the bigger cake, some times I couldn't. That was my only issue! I really liked it!

I liked it, but it would be nice if you could skip the intro.

I liked the aesthetics, the color pallet, the art direction, it reminds me of MSpaint an win98 games, nice work!
