The colors of the game is breathtaking, and I like the puzzle aspect of the game. I had the sliding issue as well. And some reset scene would be cool. (One of my block dropped to a hole, I cannot continue, or I did I miss something? )

In what way does your game fit the theme?
You shift and rewind the environment through the 3rd dimension but view the world as a 2d platformer.
Did you write most of the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
All code and art was created during the jam, but sound effects are stitched together from SoundSnap.com & ProductionCrate downloads.

This is a really cool concept for a limbo-like platformer. My only suggestion would be to add some sort of indication of which way in time will produce what result. I didn't really understand how moving forward or backward in time would make giant pillars emerge or disappear. You managed to create a beautiful atmosphere and engaging puzzles. Kudos!
This isn't moving through time; rather, you shift and rewind through space. The pillars and platforms that shift are all cross sections of 3d objects, and the player uses these cross sections as platforms. This is also why when shifting, the intersection of the object glows and illuminates the rest of the object in 3d.
I definitely agree, but one jarring technical limitation that put a stop to any complex shape was getting the concave hull of an object. We didn't have the time to find & implement a working algorithm, so we got the convex hull which is easier. This limitation made it unable to find the crossection of any objects with pockets or divots, which is a shame
MONS is a really aesthetically pleasing game. I had some issues with the slipperyness of the character, though, which caused me to either a) slide down what looked like a small incline, that any humanoid creature could've easily rested on or b) clipping and getting stuck between two objects while moving space around and standing still, as I was moved around by the collision
i love the art style of your game very close with the game that i played on steam, please polish this game more
Great game! A really nice graphics style.
Only thing that could be inproved is the slideness of the character and the blocks being a little twitchy but thats just some nitpicking.
Easily the most well polished game I have seen on the jam thus far, with a unique and excellent tak on the theme and amazing art to go with it. Easily deserves to win.
Cool game! Very beautiful, limbo like art. The concept with rewinding and.. back rewinding the stones, but still being able to push them around, is very nice. Also the effects are great. Very fun game!
I love the Limbo vibe this game has, the visuals and the sounds make for a very relaxing experience. The difficulty is well calibrated, and it was very fun to play. The only thing i don't like is how you slide if the ground is inclined (let me guess, 0 friction 2d physics) and there are some weird interaction between the boxes and the wind mill. Anyway, a 5/5 all across the board
