Congrats on placing 5th for creativity!! Well deserved

Thanks for playing and for the feedback!

Great game! I love the names used for the chat members. Once it started requiring me to type I was moving my hand back and forth between my mouse and keyboard so fast. I've never played a game that intensive on keyboard and mouse lol

Hamster :D

(SPOILERS)

Super creative game! The main loop is really really clever. It was satisfying to figure out all the puzzles without the solution guide. Realizing the trick with the tree path was hilarious. I'd love to see more of this

I'm in love with the art in this game! Gustavo and Espuky are very talented. Funnily enough, I got reminded of Bug Fables before thinking of Paper Mario, probably because it's a critter running around and not an Italian plumber.

While the audio assets weren't created by you guys, it was implemented into the game masterfully. Everything that feels like it should have a sound does have a sound, and I didn't experience any weird audio bugs anywhere. Plus different terrain having different sounds is a nice addition. I had fun just spamming left and right, the flipping animation is done super well and the grass sounds were satisfying.

The writing is also very cute :) I like all the unique dialogue for trees, holes, bridges, fences, etc. I got a little scared with a couple of the balls though, I thought this might become a horror game haha.

Great work!

Thank you for the great feedback, and thank you for playing! You make a lot of good points in your criticism.

I handled the sound effects, and I was quite aware of the annoying increase in volume when there's a lot of birds in a level. I definitely need to look into how other games handle many similar sound effects like that before the next jam, because this has been a consistent problem I've faced.

I was a bit worried about mapping E and R the way I did, sorry that it gave you trouble :(. I actually did most of my playtesting with shift rather than E, but I should've thought more about it or even just put the restart button on the pause screen.

I agree 100% that this type of game warrants having an undo button, I'm sure it would ease at least some of the frustrations for players.

Cute game :) The background art is and the penguin are great!

I love the legally distinct art for Penguin Pam! Looping between each character is a pretty neat mechanic, a bit similar to what we did in our game :)

Yay I got a sticker! Good artwork and good music. Most of the twists I felt were pretty creative and done well, though a couple I skipped because they didn't feel different enough for me to want to play through the whole level again. The final level (not including extra stages) was done very well. I also found the Geometry Dash extra level pretty funny

Thank you for the feedback! The difficulty curve definitely got a bit rushed last minute, and I also agree that the controls ended up not being well suited for the game in the end (originally it was supposed to be much more on the puzzle side, later it became more platformer-y). If we were to redo this, I certainly would've spent more time honing the controls to match the gameplay better.

Slick animations! So many people were not vibing, but I fixed that :) Yay!

I'm not quite sure I understood how to work towards the objective, but I do love the non-euclidean hallway! I really wanted to do something like that as well, but had no idea how to approach such a thing. The art style is also good (but the residents of the apartments have an interesting taste in paintings, haha)

Probably my favorite game title I've seen in the jam so far :) Cool environment!

My favorite part about this game is the movement, the jump's feel floaty in a good way, the sprinting feels good, and the kicks are super satisfying. I like the graphical style you guys chose as well, and the map is pretty neat (and big!), although maybe a bit empty. It certainly feels like a liminal space.

The music and spoken audio bits of the game were really fun, and the art was really nice. Although grindy, I enjoyed the game. The leaderboard was a fun addition, I had fun replaying the game to climb the ranks

I like the cover art for the game, it's cool

The style is great! I also just love the concept of Ouroboros, and I'd say you used it in a really cool way :)

Cute game

I just finished playing through the entire game. Teleportation level had me pulling out my hair. And the shooting stars? Terrifying. The horse? I don't wanna talk about it don't touch me. Amazing game. Super fun and really creative concept, amazing music too. My heart was POUNDING during that last part, ifykyk. Loved everything about the game, good job to everyone involved, really, it was amazing. Time to go find a therapist now

The totem upgrade system is cool, great take on the tower defense genre!

Really like the art!

This game is so cool! The time moving as you walk around the island is really creative, and the story is great. I got stuck up on trying to find the imps for some time, but eventually I got it and played both endings.

Thank you!

That was the inspiration! Thanks for playing!

The artwork looks amazing! Would have loved to play a final rendition of this game, it sounds really fun. Good job again on the artwork, I love it

Aww the story is so sweet :)

Cool boss fight! I found the game pretty easy until the end, but still fun. Love the chess theme!

Peak

Pretty fun high score game!

The non-euclidean space is so trippy but really fantastically done!

This is rad! The artwork looks amazing, great music and sound effects as well, and the loop mechanic is pretty cool too. I just think that 500 enemies might be a little excessive haha

This is a really cool concept! Very fun puzzles, and the later levels get really tricky to think through!

I like the art and the music! It's very unique and surreal. I'm just not quite sure if I went everywhere or if the eel is supposed to do anything...

This is great! I love the experimentation in the design, using music as inspiration is really awesome, and the music captures the gameplay very well.

Neat game! I like that you loop back through harder versions of the levels, it's a neat way to use the theme. I found the bit about the obstacles being coated in mountain salt funny.

I like the artwork! It reminds me The Very Hungry Caterpillar. I feel like sometimes it would be nice to speed up the movement of the snail, but otherwise it is a very chill game.

Really well done puzzle design!

Reminds me of doodle jump! I would love to see the growing and shrinking have more effects on the gameplay, but otherwise good job!

This is addicting!! I played for quite a while. It would be nice to have some way of knowing exactly which objects are what name, for when something says "2$ when next to a house". Maybe the word "house" could be replaced with the emoji for it? I also think that it's sometimes hard to predict whether your city will meet the happiness requirement, since most of the events trigger at 01:00, which means that you either live or die all at once. This game seems incredibly polished for such a short time of development.
