Cute art. I really liked the sketch feel to it. The puppy's idle animation was cute too and I liked the game play.

This is a really nice platformer! The art style is very interesting and I like how the animations help communicate the state of the player. You could add some coyote time to add more leeway for the player when jumping just to give them a sense of more control. I hope you can continue working on this after the jam!

Great work on this one!

I liked the story and the fact that you did the art but used most of the code from others. Good job to not let that get you down and finishing the game!

My only comment is that the movement and jumping felt buggy at times. Awesome art :)

Thanks :). Yeah, I repurposed some code from a Unity asset store asset. I know how to fully code these features but this would have taken away from the time I had to do the art (the weak point I wanted to focus on for this game jam) :). Thanks for the review!

This is my favorite so far, you really got me at the end, really cool way to honor a lost friend. Level 4 was def the hardest but very fun, wicked awesome job on this one.

The art is really nice, especially the way the dog turns when grabbing a wall. The tutorial drawing are really helpful in showing the main mechanisms in the game.

Really out standing music :0, however the level design requires such accurate inputs, and the movements it self doesn't help with that, the character slides out of control a lot. I like the controls and the cute dog. I love that it's a story based mechanic to meet the theme. I got stuck up here though.

Great job with music and atmosphere. Some of the art assets don't really go together that well (like the spikes and the grass), but that's not really a big deal.

Overall a lovely little atmospheric game with a lot of character. Good job!

Yeah, agree with you on the art assets! Originally, I made it all via pixel art then I went to Photoshop as I was unhappy with how it looked. As I ran out of time I had to keep the spikes as pixel art. Thanks hugely for your honest review!

Really good game. A really nice interpretation of the theme. My fiancèe was in tears after playing it so you nailed the atmosphere! Keep up the good work! :)

I like the progression in difficulty. It definitely got challenging after a few levels, but I loved it.

Can see what you mean but I think I've stayed true to the theme. I think it would've been more obvious had I created more levels going through more of the memories. Appreciate your comment though!
