In what way does your game fit the theme?
The broken rooms can be rebuilt by colliding with rewind boxes.
Did you write most of the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
Yes.

Glad you liked it :)
Nice game, fun and original but, in my opinion, lacks in the theme integration. I still liked it.
Thanks, mate. That's a fair point, I must say
Fast mini game, very cool !
Glad you liked it :)
he concept is unique and I enjoyed that. Strangely, though, I kept forgetting I can teleport to any quadrant without having to be adjacent to my current one...not sure how to remind the player of that but that might be a good thing to add. Also, I kept thinking that space would teleport me. Like if I was jumping I would teleport to the quadrant above me or if I move upwards at an angle I would go to that quadrant or if I was falling and pressed space I would go there.
What I am trying to get at is that instead of clicking on a specific quadrant to teleport I want to simply click and the momentum/direction I am moving would determine which quadrant I would move to. Maybe something to think about.
Nicely done.
That would make things easier for the mobile controls. The problem with that is that your supposed to use the jump to access higher platforms, and, with your idea, it would require to be always in the quadrant on the bottom. You gave me something to think about... Thanks!
The concept was very interesting and can definitely have some potential. I really liked the game. Just make the rewind mechanic do something else too like rewinding the time of the enemies. And maybe add some post processing. Apart from that, awesome job.
Could you please rate my game too? It would mean a lot to me.
I'm glad you liked it :) Certainly, I should have put more things around the rewind mechanic, but I came late to the jam :/. I need to learn how to use post-processing in Godot, I don't know how to do it for 2d.
Hmmm... I'm sorry but I can't run Windows games on my machine :(((
I understand. Hope you had fun in the GameJam
Fun, new interesting concept. For some reason my fullscreen didn't work. Simple, and polished. I like it!
Thanks for your kind words :) The reason why it doesn't work is that I didn't know how to use the full screen with the camera settings 😅
Game is good and fun.Good job!

Overall:
A cute and fun game. Well done on making everything work correctly, and creating all of the assets yourself. The art fit the arcade style really well! However, I don't see myself replaying this game a lot, as there's not a lot of mechanics to explore. Consider adding more variety, if you plan on releasing the game on mobile.
That's what I call a great review.
I was aware problem with the bombs not looking like bombs, I have to rework them, definitely. Very cool that you noticed the spins. I didn't really think of stacking the boxes, but now that you mention it, it makes a lot of sense (although it requires some extra working).
The theme could have been boosted by changing the rewind boxes to a time-base rewind instead of order-based, maybe (but that would have taken more effort, of course).
I was thinking of improving replayability by theming the quadrants (the top could have 0 gravity, the bottom could be a hell) but I need to think about it. The flipping-gravity boxes (or even flipping gravity bombs) look like a good idea, thanks for that.
Thank you so much for your thorough review!
No problem! If you want to continue working on your game, you can scrap the rewind aspect of it and just focus on what makes the fun and what's necessary.
Oh god... not another robot samurai fighting against falling bombs using rewind, so uninspired ;)
Its a cool little game but it definitely seemed like there were problems as the instructions say 'It maintains the relative position (and physic process) with respect to the previous quadrant' but I was definitely losing my relative position on more than one occasion which made the game more difficult.
The pixel art is clean and simple, the overall mechanics are good and well thought out and music is pretty typical of this style of game. Its just the execution (relative position) that needs a little work.
Nice fun game! Was a bit weird at first, not knowing what to do exactly, but eventually I got it and it felt really interesting after that...Great effort on the visuals, even thought they were just 8-bit. Plus the idea for the puzzle was also very innovative.
Thank you for your kind words :) Not explaining the mechanic was indeed a nooby mistake, I'll make sure to learn the lesson!
Fun game! The mechanic of switching between quadrants was really interesting
Really fun , gets real hectic real fast lol. great job!
The game seems quite simple at first but gets quite stressful later. I like it!
That's the idea! hehe Thanks for playing :)
it gets quite stressful quickly! cute character and nice color pallette! didnt like the music so much but it is okay for jam game!
good job!
Yes, to be frank, I had to mute the music while developing it because I got quite tired of it. I had to use a google web app because I didn't know better, next time I'll use something like a real music software. Thanks for the feedback!
"It was my first time ever doing pixel art" - I think you did a great job with the art!
Oh, thank you! It is very rewarding to read that: I spent more time fighting with the pixels on Inkscape than coding anything at all T_T.
Cool game! good job! :)
very nice game
and thanks for playing mine
Hi, i've played and rated your game. It's really fun to play. Well done.
Thank you! I tried to play yours but I couldn't :(
Interesting game with some pretty good graphics. The teleport mechanic was pretty cool once I realised what it did.
Thanks mate! It was my first time doing pixel art so I appreciate your comment a lot. I have to set some kind of in-game tutorial.
I am a sucker of samurai games.. I have to give you a rating coz this game play is really engaging i hope to see this take greater heights🤗🤗
You earned a rating from me❤❤😎
Hehe, the samurai is attracting a lot of ratings. Thank you! I'll try to expand on this and make a mobile release or something.
I hope you don't mind testing out our game as well...at your own time ofcourse 🤗🤗❤
I wanted to play but I don't have an android :(
no problem it's all good the rating don't matter...remember it's all about the fun making the games🤗🤗👌👌
