Not much of a fan of text-based games but this one got me, nice entry

Haven't seen any other text based "choose your own adventure" games in this jam. Didn't mind it, but it is hard to rate "Graphics" for this. ...and without audio too.

Other than that, the design was well thought out and it was fun.

Nice game! Was pretty tricky and I could maybe use a hint or two but maybe that is just me. Cool concept and interesting hook. Nice job with twine!

The only complain I can have is that this game has no audio, but even still, I feel like it's complaining that books have no audio. Nice work all around, I wish we could see more games like that, there is so much that can be done that pure written media can't convey and your game showed it. I also loved the little text details (the blur, the outlines, etc). Really nice work, man!

Very atmospheric vibe in the game, and to have written so much in a week is such an awesome achievement! Been awhile since I played a text adventure game but this brought back memories of that time. Loved the text effects in the game.

I liked your writing style even though it was scary, and animating some of the text was cool, made it feel more immersive :D Nice one!
