Really cool game with awesome VFX and particle effect! I think maybe you can improve the movement when jumping up the wall so that it does not goes to the opposite side too much. And i think maybe the bg music can change up to be abit more lifely XD just my opinion! Really nice concept and art style! Keep it up!

I have also submitted to this game jam along with my friend, Gigi, it would be nice if you check it out!

I really liked the game. Game design is good. I would improve the rewind mechanic a little bit, and care with (A & D) working to move but not (W). Overall nice game, keep it up.

Nice game, love the colour palette you went with, it's super clean.

Enjoyed the puzzles, reminded me a little of Braid.

Really Enjoyed playing it, there were a few bugs with buttons and rewinding but loved the concept and execution

Had lots of fun playing the game, and it was clear how much effort went into polishing the game. One things was just that the wall jump were quite hard to get a hang of, and more often then not I found myself just spamming the jump button and hoping to get high enough. Other than this, loved it!

Loved the game. I really enjoyed the puzzles and the mechanics. The no. of levels were quite impressive and the visuals were very good. It was a very polished game. I really enjoyed it.

Could you please check out my game too? It is not as good as yours but still it would mean a lot to me if you checked it out.

Good game and well polished too.

Things I liked:

  • The implementaion of rewind is pretty good;
  • Level-design;
  • Juiciness. All those particles, screenshakes, sfx. Everything makes the game feel just right;
  • Simplicity of shapes and colors.

One thing I had issues with (and this maybe subjective) is jumping off the walls. I can't explain (or even understand myself) why, but it felt weird for me. Like, I expect the character to jump off the wall in the opposite direction and I could control it mid-air, so I could jump over this wall. But instead often the character jumped too far away in the opposite direction. Maybe, this is because I pushed the direction button all the time, but soon enough I found myself just tapping jump button hoping to get positive result)

Overall, this is a great game and one of the most solid submissions I've played during this jam.

P.S. I'd aprecciate if you could play my game and provide some honest feedback: https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-4/rate/723006

Simple but extremely well polished. Something you should've made clear is the ability to wall jump but otherwise this is an excellent entry!

I absolutely loved it! Best game I've played in the jam so far.

Really polished, tons of really well designed levels. Each level was fun and memorable. And that last level was tough as hell, but so fun and rewarding when I got to beat it. I spent a lot of tries on that. A death counter would have been really funny.

The graphics look really good, the sound effects and the song are really good as well.

The shooting and death effect felt so satisfying. It was a nice mix of puzzle with fighting enemies, loved it.

The rewind mechanic itself was super cool and well done. You needed to know when to use it, how, there were different ways you could use it. You did a great job! It was also nice that you could get stuck and then need to restart the level with R, lead to many aha! moments.

The dialogue at the start was really funny, chill and helpful. Really nice way to teach the main mechanics of the game.

Overall awesome job with this game! I would definitely play a version with more levels for hours and hours in my free time. Congratulations!

Developer

woah woah woah slow down buddy, so much appreciation😄😄Thank you so much for playing, also I am planning on making a android version for it with 100 levels at least and more juiciness so stay tuned and yeah the last level was intentionally hard, I like to make hard levels but for this one particular I spent too much time in making levels as easy as possible😁😁,If you have insta or discord or reddit we can connect there.

super polished, clean neat and innovative. great work. one tiny thing is that the tutorial is a bit rushly made and not as clear in explaining that you can do wall jumps etc and is a bit slow in telling you to record movements. just a tiny thing that I think would elevate this a bunch. great work though

Developer

Thank you so much playing, Actually I forgot to introduce wall jump lol😂😂, I was like it's nothing will do it later and then I forgot,I will improve the tutorial for sure
