Very innovative mechanic with clean implementation, it took me a while to realize I could resize the window to collect more cats haha

Playing this at 3.22am was def an errie experience.. the atmosphere & sound is truly chef's kiss, the ending neck snap could have been better, but still a solid entry

Was able to finish both, the 2nd one took multiple tries tho, love this mechanic, reminds me of my entry to the 2021.1 game jam where I had two players in two worlds with inverted controls, glad you were able too add so much depth to it. Great job!

Amazing camera work, entire game felt  like a cinematic in ps1-ps2ish art style with great atmosphere, compliments your unique mechanic & take on the theme. The (drunk) progression & message in the end was beautiful. After the credit screen came I went back in the train and I was somehow able to interact with a few passengers who said they didn't want a drink, did I discover an easter egg? :3

Few nitpicks:
- The train track became repetitive after some time, could add some randomization to it
- If there are non obvious controls the game could subtly explain it, eg: space for dialogue switch

Attaching 2 bugs I discovered (both game me jumpscare xD):
- Screen turns cinematically dim if I do fullscreen & back
- 2 faced people

Solid entry nevertheless, cheers!

haha my last level is pretty much an undeveloped level congratulating the player & letting them know I couldn't get time to fix it too

Finally beat it!! Loved the mechanic & design-> solid colors slapped too, loved the tessearct working as the level change indicator, great work!

Yeah, I've received a bunch of suggestions to help people work around dark levels -> need to work on it post jam. Thank you so much for playing :D

So many people have started finishing the game, madlads, all of you!! Glad you liked it, and don't stress the last level it's just satire anyways. I'll play yours & review it too :D

thanks for playing, glad you liked it ^^

Thankyou so much for playing, I'm really enjoying these comments where people are figuring out different ways to work around the darkmode level haha, maybe not balancing them was not a bad idea, love seeing the creative ways you guys figured out around it :D

ty ^^

Damn taping the paper to solve the level is crazy xD
Also 140 -> 9 was a jump between two consecutive levels or from the initial level to that specific level? If it was consecutive then that's def a bug 😭
Glad that you liked the puzzle design & the small jokes I put in there & def agree that the Bennet Foddy style voiceover would add a lot of charm to these jokes and I can work on some of them post jam!
Thankyou so much for playing, I'll play yours too & review it!

Will try those as well after this jam period, looking forward to the full release too :D

That's some great news.. looking forward to the release.. will get some buddies to try the coop

PEAK.. This is the most I've ever played a jam game.. reached 16 waves.. great design, can be made into a commercial title fosho, if you guys do it, I'll buy this game.. had tons of fun!! How many waves are there in total?

What a beautiful & soothing experience, and definitely amazing artwork! loved that so many puzzles used the  same drag & drop mechanic, keep things simple -> infact it made the 3rd puzzle easy I could just drag & drop the leaves to understand which one fits where 😜 The attention to details was great too, loved that clicking everything had a meaning to it. Awesome work!!

PS: The artwork + game name did me some deja vu, and then after digging I realized I had also played & reviewed "Trust the blackbird" 5 years ago back in 2021.1 jam. Love the consistency you have over the years. My title this year on the other hand is completely different from what I had made back then 🤣

(1 edit)

another madlad, congrats on completing, def playing + reviewing your game is due

ty^^

thanks^^

The beats go hard with increase in tempo

^ talking about `raylib` users bdw ;)

men of culture we assemble

This was a great puzzle! I had a question, the numbers she were saying in the end end what were they for?

Pretty difficult getting all the 30 ichor samples done in 5 tries, tried my best but that death scream caught me off guard 😭 Great atmosphere, clean implementation, good work!

1/6 first try -> 6/6 second try.. parkour

Great atmosphere even with minimalism! Got 7 causalities before finishing, most of them being dust mites upon nano 😭

Full adrenaline!! Every new level felt exciting, good bridge using elevator in between. The music &  artsyle slapped hard

the artstyle, ambience & atmosphere slaps hard with this one & moves you, loved small attention to details like the red pill blue pill poster, the mini games though, felt out of place could have been more geared towards the environment itself, great experience, nevertheless -> would have loved if the instead of the last cutscene it just looped back to the same set of events

Really loved the gore fast paced FPS aspect to it!! Esp loved the level design that ensured so much detail while also maneuverability across the level (even in reverse) without ever feeling blocked (really helped in combat)

Short but impactful! One thing I noticed: death always gives the same message "you didn't look hard enough" regardless of the context (for eg: when chased by fridge & dying), should be context dependent

lmao, what a funny take on the theme, the bg art was cherry on the cake

Big fan on dimension switching games, made my head hurt tho xD

Good puzzles, the rotating puzzle got me I was aiming for the wrong door for so long xP

Spooky! The clown shootout scene reminds me of Mr Meat & Granny style of games I used to play

very strange experience indeed

thanks

The skin cutting mechanic is very similar to the dot connecting mechanic in my game and now I can realize why people keep getting frustrated doing that again and again :P Haha jokes aside, very clean artwork & presentation with fun gameplay!

I was above 180 seconds when I randomly died  😭 I was in the yellow orangish level -> I think I was standing at the spawn position of the ground enemies that level has

I initially thought I  broke the game but reading other comments here I realized there was just 1 puzzle. Short but spooky

thanks for finishing!
