Vibe coded this stats website for some insights on the Brackeys game jam I participated in, felt it would be good to share with the community, so published it :D

Super fresh (and complex) idea with tons of depth -> there’s clearly a lot going on with plant types / secondary states / different planets making it feel like a bigger systems game (very very impressive for a 7 day game).

However these systems indeed a lot more cognitive overload on me than I had planned going in expecting from a jam game. I was confused at first and had to rely often on instructions. A tutorial and gradual progression (1 planet -> a few plants -> introduce alt plants later) would massively improve first impressions.

Tons of potential for a full release here

Simple but impactful! After multiple tries couldn't get past a minute (mostly found it difficult mapping color -> enemy), I'll try again with a mouse later. Disco mode was fun haha

Insanely polished for a jam entry, everything feels lively and juicy, and the candy theme is super cohesive. The game also feels well put together, it’s the kind of jam game that feels like a published game already. If you keep developing it (maybe add a  deeper progression), I’d totally play a longer version.

Striking little experience! The hand drawn monochrome art style is unique & sells the strange place vibe for me. The music/ sound design compliments is aswell. A small nit that I had was that platforms sometimes blend into the background & a little extra contrast/outline would help a lot

Thankyou so much! Yeah I'd working on balancing some of these levels

Respect for finishing the whole game!

You're almost there!! :')

thanks

ty

No worries, it's on me, I should have had people circle back to Level 1 after finishing them all.  Also, did you spam the dev command because you felt that there's some easter egg that would let you play the remaining planned 10 levels I mentioned there?

Amazing game, the bubble mechanic was well thought out and the most challenging, the 3rd level went out in a jiffy tho XD Good work!

I conquered, hell yeah!!!

The trick to the inverted control level was just holding the keyboard in reverse   😛

Great entry

Thanks for the feedback :D thinking of doing a web release instead of mobile as I think fingers would block your view of the lines as you draw making it a harder experience

thanks for playing ^^

Unique take on the theme, the level progression is also crazy with this one, could only get to #47, well done!

Amazing presentation, artstyle & atmosphere! One of the most well put jam pages I've seen.
The game though felt a bit lacking for me (maybe because the art set the bar too high? idk) as it felt more of a deduction game than one with random chances and the key to winning was memorizing the outcomes till you get a clean playthrough

also "Most likely a Reyna player" seems like I got called out xD

Crazy polish for a jam game, without the jam context it would felt like a released title to me. Mix matching human + visitor requests is a good idea, things can ramp up pretty fast. Every aspect of the game came out cleanly. One small issue: game window just showed a single white bar for some time before loading the game, I've seen it happen in some other games too so not sure if it's a me issue

you guys cooked with this one

Great polish, fun to play, was able to beat the big spider boss!

Unique take on the theme, pretty much recreated my room here haha, does it look strange?

Amazing atmosphere, art & sound design, I somehow keep getting stuck here (happened thrice), is this intentional or a bug, looking at one of the screenshots talking about rythm I feel there's more to play, please help

Loved the uniqueness & polish! Great work, am I the only one who found the hard mode easier maybe due to fact that I already knew the placement of pieces from before? Couldn't find the easter egg tho  😭

Can't seem to launch this game (on a mac), is this a known issue?

Hell yeah Zlorped it! Tell the guy who made the music that it slaps

Very unique & innovative idea. Best part about it was playing again & again tossing different items for same situtation seeing different scenarios play out answering all your "what-ifs". One thing that bothered me a lot was the actual tossing mechanic where the object would stuck to the pointer instead of getting tossed all the way, not sure if it happened because I was using a trackpad & not a mouse

Kept me well invested for an hour! Love turn deck based battle games. Loved the different card + world themes with progression. Great well job executing so many things just in 7 days!

Few nits:
- UI Panel doesn't scale based on screeen aspect but a fixed 16:9 aspect
- Cards I already have unlocked in deck get shown again in selection menu

very addictive & unique concept complimented with nice neon artstyle! how does one come up with such idea?
took me a few tries was able to finish in 97 seconds

Infinitely repayable! Design, even though I lost thrice in a row, the win after it felt magnificent!!

PS: The base scaling of the game looked a bit off, fixed after zooming 125% on the page

Yes there's def a balance that I wish to target to have the best of both worlds, thankyou so much for your feedback and playing the game!

Good feedback, I'll look into some way of optimizing the path gen in general, thanks for playing & respect for finishing the game  🫡

thanks, you almost made it!!!

Very innovative mechanic with clean implementation, it took me a while to realize I could resize the window to collect more cats haha

Playing this at 3.22am was def an errie experience.. the atmosphere & sound is truly chef's kiss, the ending neck snap could have been better, but still a solid entry

Was able to finish both, the 2nd one took multiple tries tho, love this mechanic, reminds me of my entry to the 2021.1 game jam where I had two players in two worlds with inverted controls, glad you were able too add so much depth to it. Great job!

Amazing camera work, entire game felt  like a cinematic in ps1-ps2ish art style with great atmosphere, compliments your unique mechanic & take on the theme. The (drunk) progression & message in the end was beautiful. After the credit screen came I went back in the train and I was somehow able to interact with a few passengers who said they didn't want a drink, did I discover an easter egg? :3

Few nitpicks:
- The train track became repetitive after some time, could add some randomization to it
- If there are non obvious controls the game could subtly explain it, eg: space for dialogue switch

Attaching 2 bugs I discovered (both game me jumpscare xD):
- Screen turns cinematically dim if I do fullscreen & back
- 2 faced people

Solid entry nevertheless, cheers!

haha my last level is pretty much an undeveloped level congratulating the player & letting them know I couldn't get time to fix it too
